Miquéias 3
1 E eu disse: Ouvi agora, vós líderes de Jacó, e governantes da casa de Israel; por acaso não é vossa responsabilidade saber o que é justo?
And I sayd, Heare, I pray you, O heads of Iaakob, and yee princes of the house of Israel: should not ye knowe iudgement?
2 Vós odiais o bem e amais o mal; vós roubais a pele dos outros, e a carne de seus ossos;
But they hate the good, and loue the euill: they plucke off their skinnes from them, and their flesh from their bones.
3 Vós sois os que comeis a carne de meu povo, e lhes tirais sua pele, e lhes quebrais seus ossos; e os despedaçais como para a panela, como carne dentro do caldeirão.
And they eate also the flesh of my people, and flay off their skinne from them, and they breake their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron.
4 Então clamareis ao SENHOR, mas ele não vos responderá; ao invés disso esconderá sua face diante de vós naquele tempo, pois praticastes maus atos.
Then shall they crye vnto the Lord, but he will not heare them: he wil euen hide his face from them at that time, because they haue done wickedly in their workes.
5 Assim diz o SENHOR contra os profetas que fazem o meu povo errar, que quando recebem comida proclamam paz, mas declaram guerra contra quem não lhes dá de comer;
Thus saith the Lord, Concerning the prophets that deceiue my people, and bite them with their teeth, and cry peace, but if a man put not into their mouthes, they prepare warre against him,
6 Portanto se vos fará noite por causa da profecia, e trevas por causa da adivinhação; e o sol se porá sobre estes profetas, e o dia se escurecerá sobre eles.
Therefore night shalbe vnto you for a vision, and darkenesse shalbe vnto you for a diuination, and the sunne shall goe downe ouer the prophets, and the day shalbe darke ouer them.
7 E os videntes se envergonharão, e os adivinhos serão humilhados; todos cobrirão o lábio, porque não haverá resposta de Deus.
Then shall the Seers bee ashamed, and the southsayers confounded: yea, they shall all couer their lippes, for they haue none answere of God.
8 Porém eu estou cheio do poder do Espírito do SENHOR, e de juízo, e de força, para anunciar a Jacó sua transgressão, e a Israel seu pecado.
Yet notwithstanding I am full of power by the Spirite of the Lord, and of iudgement, and of strength to declare vnto Iaakob his transgression, and to Israel his sinne.
9 Ouvi agora isto, vós líderes da casa de Jacó, e governantes da casa de Israel, que abominais a justiça, e perverteis tudo o que é justo;
Heare this, I pray you, ye heades of the house of Iaakob, and princes of the house of Israel: they abhorre iudgement, and peruert all equitie.
10 Vós edificais a Sião com sangue, e a Jerusalém com injustiça;
They build vp Zion with blood, and Ierusalem with iniquitie.
11 Seus líderes julgam por suborno, seus sacerdotes ensinam por salário, e seus profetas adivinham por dinheiro; e se apoiam no SENHOR dizendo: Por acaso o SENHOR não está entre nós? Nenhum mal virá sobre nós.
The heads thereof iudge for rewardes, and the Priestes thereof teache for hyre, and the prophets thereof prophecie for money: yet wil they leane vpon the Lord, and say, Is not the Lord among vs? no euill can come vpon vs.
12 Portanto por causa de vós Sião será arada como campo, e Jerusalém se tornará um amontoado de pedras, e o monte do templo como os lugares altos de um bosque.
Therefore shall Zion for your sake bee plowed as a field, and Ierusalem shalbe an heape, and the mountaine of the house, as the hye places of the forest.
