Marcos 3
1 [Jesus] entrou outra vez numa sinagoga; e estava ali um homem que tinha uma mão definhada.
Another time He went into the synagogue, and there was a man there with a withered hand.
2 E prestavam atenção nele, se o curaria no sábado, para o acusarem.
So they watched Him closely, whether He would heal him on the Sabbath, so that they might accuse Him.
3 E [Jesus] disse ao homem que tinha a mão definhada: Levanta-te, e vem para o meio.
Well, He says to the man with the withered hand, “Come out in the middle!”
4 E disse-lhes: É lícito no sábado fazer o bem, ou o mal? Salvar uma pessoa, ou matá-la? E mantiveram-se calados.
Then He said to them: “Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?” But they remained silent.
5 E olhando ao redor para eles com indignação, sentindo pena da dureza dos seus corações, disse ao homem: Estende a mão. E ele estendeu; e sua mão foi restaurada.
After looking around at them with anger, being grieved at the hardness of their hearts, He says to the man, “Stretch out your hand!” So he stretched, and his hand was restored as healthy as the other!
6 Assim que os fariseus saíram, tiveram reunião com os herodianos contra ele, para combinarem sobre como o matariam.
Then the Pharisees went straight out, and with the Herodians started hatching a plot against Him, how they might destroy Him.
7 E Jesus retirou-se com os seus discípulos para o mar; e seguiu-o uma grande multidão da Galileia, da Judeia,
Jesus withdrew with His disciples to the sea; and a large crowd from Galilee followed Him—also from Judea,
8 de Jerusalém, da Idumeia, dalém do Jordão, e das proximidades de Tiro e de Sidom; uma grande multidão, tendo ouvido quão grandes coisas fazia, vieram a ele.
from Jerusalem, from Idumea and beyond Jordan; even those around Tyre and Sidon. A huge crowd came to Him, having heard the sorts of things He kept doing.
9 E disse aos seus discípulos que um barquinho ficasse continuamente perto dele, por causa das multidões; para que não o apertassem.
So He told His disciples that a small boat should be kept ready for Him because of the crowd, lest they should press in on Him.
10 Pois havia curado muitos, de maneira que todos quantos tinham algum mal lançavam-se sobre ele a fim de tocá-lo.
Because He had healed many, so that as many as had afflictions were pushing toward Him so as to touch Him.
11 E os espíritos imundos, quando o viam, prostravam-se diante dele, e exclamavam: Tu és o Filho de Deus.
And the unclean spirits—whenever one saw Him, he would fall down before Him and cry out, saying, “You are the son of God!”
12 Mas [Jesus] os repreendia muito, para que não manifestassem quem ele era.
And He kept giving them strict orders that they should not make Him known.
13 Ele subiu ao monte, e chamou para si os que quis; então vieram a ele.
He went up on the mountain and summoned those whom He wanted, and they came to Him.
14 E constituiu doze para que estivessem com ele, para enviá-los a pregar,
He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach
15 para que tivessem poder de expulsar os demônios.
—also to have authority to heal sicknesses and to cast out demons:
16 Eram eles: Simão, a quem pôs por nome Pedro;
namely Peter (a name He gave to Simon);
17 Tiago [filho] de Zebedeu, e João, irmão de Tiago; e pôs-lhes por nome Boanerges, que significa “filhos do trovão”;
James son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James (and a name He gave to them was Boanerges, that is, ‘Sons of thunder’);
18 e André, Filipe, Bartolomeu, Mateus, Tomé; Tiago [filho] de Alfeu; Tadeu; Simão o zelote;
Andrew, Phillip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, Simon the Cananite;
19 e Judas Iscariotes, o que o traiu.
and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed Him.
20 Quando [Jesus] foi para uma casa, outra vez se ajuntou uma multidão, de maneira que nem sequer podiam comer pão.
Then they went into a house; and again a multitude gathered, so that they were not even able to eat bread.
21 Os seus [familiares], ao ouvirem isso, saíram para detê-lo, porque diziam: “Ele stá fora de si”.
Well upon hearing this His family came to apprehend Him, because they were saying, “He is out of his mind!”
22 E os escribas que haviam descido de Jerusalém diziam: Ele tem Belzebu, e é pelo chefe dos demônios que expulsa demônios.
Then some scribes who had come down from Jerusalem started saying, “He has Beelzebul,” and “It is by the ruler of the demons that he casts out demons.”
23 Então [Jesus] os chamou, e lhes disse por parábolas: Como pode Satanás expulsar Satanás?
So summoning them He started saying to them in parables: “How can Satan cast out Satan?
24 Se algum reino estiver dividido contra si mesmo, tal reino não pode durar;
If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
25 e se alguma casa estiver dividida contra si mesma, tal casa não pode durar firme.
And if a household is divided against itself, that household cannot stand.
26 E se Satanás se levantar contra si mesmo, e for dividido, não pode durar, mas tem fim.
And if Satan has risen up against himself and become divided, he cannot stand, but is finished.
27 Ninguém pode roubar os bens do valente, quando se entra na casa dele, se antes não amarrar ao valente; depois disso roubará a sua casa.
No one can plunder the strong man's goods, invading his house, unless he first binds the strong man—then he may plunder the house.
28 Em verdade vos digo que todos os pecados serão perdoados aos filhos dos homens, e todas as blasfêmias com que blasfemarem;
“Assuredly I say to you: all the sins of the sons of men can be forgiven, including whatever blasphemies they may utter;
30 Pois diziam: “Ele tem espírito imundo”.
—because they were saying, “He has an unclean spirit.”
31 Então chegaram a sua mãe e os seus irmãos; e estando de fora, mandaram chamá-lo.
Then His brothers and His mother came, and standing outside they sent to Him, calling Him.
32 A multidão estava sentada ao redor dele. Então disseram-lhe: Eis que a tua mãe, os teus irmãos, e as tuas irmãs estão lá fora a te procurar.
A crowd was sitting around Him; so they said to Him, “Look, your mother and your brothers and your sisters are outside asking for you.”
33 Ele lhes respondeu: Quem é a minha mãe e os meus irmãos?
He answered them saying, “Who is my mother or my brothers?”
34 E, olhando em redor aos que estavam sentados perto dele, disse: Eis aqui minha mãe e meus irmãos.
And looking around at those seated in a circle around Him He said: “Behold my mother and my brothers!
35 Quem fizer a vontade de Deus, esse é meu irmão, irmã, e mãe.
Because whoever does the will of God, the same is my brother, my sister, my mother.”
