Marcos 13
1 Quando ele estava saindo do templo, um de seus discípulos lhe disse: Mestre, olha que pedras, e que edifícios!
And as he went out of the Temple, one of his disciples said vnto him, Master, see what maner stones, and what maner buildings are here.
2 Jesus disse-lhe: Vês estes grandes edifícios? Não será deixada pedra sobre pedra, que não seja derrubada.
Then Iesus answered and saide vnto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone vpon a stone, that shall not be throwen downe.
3 Depois, sentando-se ele no monte das Oliveiras, de frente ao templo, Pedro, Tiago, João, e André perguntaram-lhe à parte:
And as he sate on the mount of Oliues, ouer against the Temple, Peter, and Iames, and Iohn, and Andrew asked him secretly,
4 Dize-nos, quando serão essas coisas? E que sinal haverá de quando todas essas coisas se cumprirão?
Tell vs, when shall these things be? and what shalbe the signe when all these things shalbe fulfilled?
5 E Jesus, começou a dizer-lhes: Cuidado! ninguém vos engane;
And Iesus answered them, and began to say, Take heede lest any man deceiue you.
6 muitos virão em meu nome, dizendo: “Sou eu”, e enganarão a muitos.
For many shall come in my Name, saying, I am Christ, and shall deceiue many.
7 E quando ouvirdes de guerras e de rumores de guerras, não vos perturbeis; [assim] deve acontecer; mas ainda não será o fim.
Furthermore when ye shall heare, of warres, and rumours of warres, be ye not troubled: for such things must needes be: but the end shall not be yet.
8 Porque nação se levantará contra nação, e reino contra reino, e haverá terremotos em muitos lugares, e haverá fomes. Estes serão o princípio das dores.
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdome against kingdome, and there shalbe earthquakes in diuers quarters, and there shalbe famine and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorowes.
9 Mas cuidai de vós mesmos; porque vos entregarão em tribunais e em sinagogas; sereis açoitados, e comparecereis diante de governadores e reis, por causa de mim, para que lhes haja testemunho.
But take ye heede to your selues: for they shall deliuer you vp to the Councils, and to the Synagogues: ye shalbe beaten, and brought before rulers and Kings for my sake, for a testimoniall vnto them.
10 Mas antes o Evangelho deve ser pregado entre todas as nações.
And the Gospel must first be published among all nations.
11 Porém, quando vos levarem para vos entregar, não estejais ansiosos antecipadamente do que deveis dizer; mas o que naquela hora for dado, isso falai. Porque não sois vós os que falais, mas o Espírito Santo.
But when they leade you, and deliuer you vp, be not carefull before hand, neither studie what ye shall say: but what is giuen you at the same time, that speake: for it is not ye that speake, but the holy Ghost.
12 E o irmão entregará ao irmão à morte, e o pai ao filho; e os filhos se levantarão contra os pais, e os matarão.
Yea, and the brother shall deliuer the brother to death, and the father the sonne, and the children shall rise against their parents, and shall cause them to die.
13 E sereis odiados por todos por causa do meu nome; mas quem perseverar até o fim, esse será salvo.
And ye shall be hated of all men for my Names sake: but whosoeuer shall endure vnto the end, he shalbe saued.
14 E quando virdes a abominação da desolação estar onde não deve, (quem lê, entenda), então os que estiverem na Judeia, fujam para os montes.
Moreouer, when ye shall see the abomination of desolation (spoken of by Daniel the Prophet) set where it ought not, (let him that readeth, consider it) then let them that be in Iudea, flee into the mountaines,
15 E quem estiver sobre telhado, não desça, nem entre para tomar alguma coisa de sua casa.
And let him that is vpon the house, not come downe into the house, neither enter therein, to fetch any thing out of his house.
16 E quem estiver no campo, não volte atrás, para tomar sua roupa.
And let him that is in the fielde, not turne backe againe to take his garment.
17 Mas ai das grávidas, e das que amamentarem naqueles dias!
Then wo shalbe to the that are with child, and to them that giue sucke in those dayes.
18 Orai, porém, para que isso não aconteça no inverno.
Pray therefore that your flight be not in the winter.
19 Porque aqueles dias serão de tal aflição, qual nunca foi desde o princípio da criação das coisas, que Deus criou, até agora, nem jamais será.
For those dayes shalbe such tribulation, as was not from the beginning of ye creation which God created vnto this time, neither shalbe.
20 E se o Senhor não encurtasse aqueles dias, ninguém se salvaria; mas por causa dos escolhidos, que escolheu, ele encurtou aqueles dias.
And except that the Lord had shortened those dayes, no flesh shoulde be saued: but for the elects sake, which he hath chosen, he hath shortened those dayes.
21 Então se alguém vos disser: “Eis aqui o Cristo”; ou “ei-lo ali”, não creiais nele.
Then if any man say to you, Loe, here is Christ, or, lo, he is there, beleeue it not.
22 E se levantarão falsos cristos, e falsos profetas, que farão sinais e prodígios, para enganar, se possível, até os escolhidos.
For false Christes shall rise, and false prophets, and shall shewe signes and wonders, to deceiue if it were possible the very elect.
23 Vós, porém, tende cuidado; tenho vos dito tudo com antecedência.
But take ye heede: beholde, I haue shewed you all things before.
24 Mas naqueles dias, depois daquela aflição, o sol se escurecerá, e a lua não dará seu brilho;
Moreouer in those dayes, after that tribulation, the sunne shall waxe darke, and ye moone shall not giue her light,
25 as estrelas cairão do céu, e as forças que estão nos céus se abalarão.
And the starres of heauen shall fall: and the powers which are in heauen, shall shake.
26 Então verão o Filho do homem vir nas nuvens, com grande poder e glória.
And then shall they see the Sonne of man comming in ye cloudes, with great power and glory.
27 Ele então enviará os anjos, e ajuntará os seus escolhidos dos quatro ventos, desde a extremidade da terra, até a extremidade do céu.
And he shall then send his Angels, and shall gather together his elect from the foure windes, and from the vtmost part of the earth to the vtmost part of heauen.
28 E aprendei a parábola da figueira: Quando o seu ramo já vai ficando tenro, e brota folhas, bem sabeis que o verão já está perto.
Nowe learne a parable of the figge tree. When her bough is yet tender, and it bringeth foorth leaues, ye knowe that sommer is neere.
29 Assim também vós, quando virdes suceder estas coisas, sabei que já está perto, às portas.
So in like maner, when ye see these things come to passe, knowe that the kingdom of God is neere, euen at the doores.
30 Em verdade vos digo que não passará esta geração, até que todas estas coisas aconteçam.
Verely I say vnto you, that this generation shall not passe, till all these things be done.
31 O céu e a terra passarão, mas as minhas palavras em maneira nenhuma passarão.
Heauen and earth shall passe away, but my woordes shall not passe away.
32 Porém daquele dia e hora ninguém sabe, nem os anjos que estão no céu, nem o Filho, a não ser somente o Pai.
But of that day and houre knoweth no man, no, not the Angels which are in heauen, neither the Sonne himselfe, but the Father.
33 Olhai, vigiai, e orai; porque não sabeis quando será o tempo.
Take heede: watch, and praie: for yee knowe not when the time is.
34 Assim como o homem que, partindo-se para fora de sua terra, deixou sua casa, e deu autoridade aos seus servos, e a cada um o seu trabalho, e mandou ao porteiro que vigiasse,
For the Sonne of man is as a man going into a strange countrey, and leaueth his house, and giueth authoritie to his seruaunts, and to euery man his woorke, and commandeth the porter to watch.
35 assim também vigiai, porque não sabeis quando virá o Senhor da casa; se à tarde, se à meia-noite, se ao cantar do galo, se pela manhã,
Watch ye therefore, (for ye know not whe ye master of the house will come, at eue, or at midnight, at the cocke crowing, or in the dawning, )
36 para que ele não venha de repente, e vos ache dormindo.
Least if he come suddenly, he should finde you sleeping.
37 E as coisas que vos digo, digo a todos: Vigiai.
And those things that I say vnto you, I say vnto all men, Watch.
