Marcos 10
1 E levantando-se dali, [Jesus] se foi aos limites da Judeia, por dalém do Jordão; e as multidões voltaram a se juntar a ele, e voltou a lhes ensinar, como tinha costume.
He arose from there and came into the borders of Judea and beyond the Jordan. Multitudes came together to him again. As he usually did, he was again teaching them.
2 E vindo a ele os fariseus, perguntaram-lhe se era lícito ao homem deixar a [sua] mulher, testando-o.
Pharisees came to him testing him, and asked him, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?”
3 Mas ele lhes respondeu: O que Moisés vos mandou?
He answered, “What did Moses command you?”
4 E eles disseram: Moisés permitiu escrever carta de divórcio, e deixá-la.
They said, “Moses allowed a certificate of divorce to be written, and to divorce her.”
5 E Jesus lhes respondeu: Foi pela dureza dos vossos corações que ele vos escreveu este mandamento.
But Yeshua said to them, “For your hardness of heart, he wrote you this commandment.
6 Porém, desde o princípio da criação, macho e fêmea ele os fez.
But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female.
7 Por isso, deixará o homem a seu pai e a [sua] mãe.
For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will join to his wife,
8 E os dois serão uma [só] carne; assim, já não são dois, mas sim uma [só] carne.
and the two will become one flesh, so that they are no longer two, but one flesh.
9 Portanto, o que Deus juntou, não separe o homem.
What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.”
10 E em casa os discípulos voltaram a lhe perguntar sobre isto mesmo.
In the house, his disciples asked him again about the same matter.
11 E disse-lhes: Qualquer um que deixar a sua mulher, e se casar com outra, adultera contra ela.
He said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her.
12 E se ela deixar o seu marido, e se casar com outro, adultera.
If a woman herself divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery.”
13 E lhe traziam crianças para que ele as tocasse, mas os discípulos repreendiam-lhes.
They were bringing to him little children, that he should touch them, but the disciples rebuked those who were bringing them.
14 Porém Jesus, vendo, indignou-se, e lhe disse: Deixai vir as crianças a mim, e não as impeçais; porque delas é o Reino de Deus.
But when Yeshua saw it, he was moved with indignation and said to them, “Allow the little children to come to me! Don’t forbid them, for God’s Kingdom belongs to such as these.
15 Em verdade vos digo, que qualquer um que não receber o Reino de Deus como criança, em maneira nenhuma nele entrará.
Most certainly I tell you, whoever will not receive God’s Kingdom like a little child, he will in no way enter into it.”
16 Então, tomando-as entre seus braços, e pondo as mãos sobre elas, ele as abençoou.
He took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them.
17 E quando ele saiu para caminhar, um [homem] correu até ele; e pondo-se de joelhos diante dele, perguntou-lhe: Bom Mestre, que farei para herdar a vida eterna? (aiōnios g166)
As he was going out into the way, one ran to him, knelt before him, and asked him, “Good Rabbi, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?” (aiōnios g166)
18 E Jesus lhe disse: Por que me chamas bom? Ninguém é bom, a não ser um: Deus.
Yeshua said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except one—God.
19 Sabes os mandamentos: Não adulterarás; não matarás; não furtarás; não darás falso testemunho; não serás enganador; honra o teu pai e a [tua] mãe.
You know the commandments: ‘Do not murder,’ ‘Do not commit adultery,’ ‘Do not steal,’ ‘Do not give false testimony,’ ‘Do not defraud,’ ‘Honour your father and mother.’”
20 Porém ele lhe respondeu: Mestre, tudo isto guardei desde a minha juventude.
He said to him, “Rabbi, I have observed all these things from my youth.”
21 E olhando Jesus para ele, amou-o, e disse-lhe: Uma coisa te falta: vai, vende tudo quanto tens, e dá aos pobres; e terás um tesouro no céu; e vem, segue-me, toma [tua] cruz.
Yeshua looking at him loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack. Go, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me, taking up the cross.”
22 Mas ele, pesaroso desta palavra, foi-se triste; porque tinha muitas propriedades.
But his face fell at that saying, and he went away sorrowful, for he was one who had great possessions.
23 Então Jesus olhando ao redor, disse a seus discípulos: Como é difícil aos que têm riquezas entrar no Reino de Deus!
Yeshua looked around and said to his disciples, “How difficult it is for those who have riches to enter into God’s Kingdom!”
24 E os discípulos se espantaram destas suas palavras; mas Jesus, voltando a responder, disse-lhes: Filhos, como é difícil entrar no Reino de Deus!
The disciples were amazed at his words. But Yeshua answered again, “Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter into God’s Kingdom!
25 Mais fácil é passar um camelo pelo olho de uma agulha, do que entrar um rico no Reino de Deus.
It is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye than for a rich man to enter into God’s Kingdom.”
26 E eles se espantavam ainda mais, dizendo uns para os outros: Quem, pois, poderá se salvar?
They were exceedingly astonished, saying to him, “Then who can be saved?”
27 Porém, olhando Jesus para eles, disse: Para os seres humanos, é impossível; mas para Deus, não; porque para Deus tudo é possível.
Yeshua, looking at them, said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God, for all things are possible with God.”
28 E Pedro começou a lhe dizer: Eis que nós deixamos tudo, e te seguimos.
Peter began to tell him, “Behold, we have left all and have followed you.”
29 Jesus respondeu: Em verdade vos digo, que não há ninguém que tenha deixado casa, ou irmãos, ou irmãs, ou mãe, ou pai, ou filhos, ou campos, por amor de mim e do Evangelho,
Yeshua said, “Most certainly I tell you, there is no one who has left house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or land, for my sake, and for the sake of the Good News,
31 Porém muitos primeiros serão últimos, e últimos, primeiros.
But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”
32 E iam pelo caminho, subindo para Jerusalém; e Jesus ia diante deles, e espantavam-se, e seguiam-no atemorizados. E voltando a tomar consigo aos doze, começou-lhes a dizer as coisas que lhe viriam a acontecer:
They were on the way, going up to Jerusalem; and Yeshua was going in front of them, and they were amazed; and those who followed were afraid. He again took the twelve, and began to tell them the things that were going to happen to him.
33 Eis que subimos a Jerusalém, e o Filho do homem será entregue aos chefes dos sacerdotes, e aos escribas; e o condenarão à morte, e o entregarão aos gentios.
“Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem. The Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and the scribes. They will condemn him to death, and will deliver him to the Gentiles.
34 E escarnecerão dele, e cuspirão nele, e o açoitarão, e o matarão; e três dias depois ressuscitará.
They will mock him, spit on him, scourge him, and kill him. On the third day he will rise again.”
35 E vieram a ele Tiago e João, filhos de Zebedeu, dizendo-lhe: Mestre, queríamos que nos fizesses o que pedirmos.
Jacob and Yochanan, the sons of Zebedee, came near to him, saying, “Rabbi, we want you to do for us whatever we will ask.”
36 E ele lhes disse: O que quereis que eu vos faça?
He said to them, “What do you want me to do for you?”
37 E eles lhe disseram: Concede-nos que em tua glória nos sentemos, um à tua direita, e outro à tua esquerda?
They said to him, “Grant to us that we may sit, one at your right hand and one at your left hand, in your glory.”
38 Mas Jesus lhes disse: Não sabeis o que pedis; podeis vós beber o copo que eu bebo, ou ser batizados com o batismo com que eu sou batizado?
But Yeshua said to them, “You don’t know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I drink, and to be immersed with the immersion that I am immersed with?”
39 E eles lhe disseram: Podemos. Porém Jesus lhes disse: Em verdade, o copo que eu bebo, bebereis; e com o batismo com que eu sou batizado, sereis batizados.
They said to him, “We are able.” Yeshua said to them, “You shall indeed drink the cup that I drink, and you shall be immersed with the immersion that I am immersed with;
40 Mas sentar-se à minha direita, ou à minha esquerda, não é meu concedê-lo, mas sim, para aqueles a quem está preparado.
but to sit at my right hand and at my left hand is not mine to give, but for whom it has been prepared.”
41 E quando os dez ouviram isto, começaram a se irritar contra Tiago e João.
When the ten heard it, they began to be indignant towards Jacob and Yochanan.
42 Mas Jesus, chamando-os a si, disse-lhes: Já sabeis que os que são vistos como governadores dos gentios, agem como senhores deles; e os grandes usam de autoridade sobre eles.
Yeshua summoned them and said to them, “You know that they who are recognised as rulers over the nations lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them.
43 Mas entre vós não será assim; antes qualquer que entre vós quiser ser grande, será vosso servidor.
But it shall not be so amongst you, but whoever wants to become great amongst you shall be your servant.
44 E qualquer que de vós quiser ser o primeiro, será servo de todos.
Whoever of you wants to become first amongst you shall be bondservant of all.
45 Porque também não veio o Filho do homem para ser servido, mas para servir, e dar sua vida em resgate por muitos.
For the Son of Man also came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
46 E vieram a Jericó. E saindo ele, e seus discípulos, e uma grande multidão de Jericó, estava Bartimeu, um mendigo cego, filho de Timeu, sentado junto ao caminho.
They came to Jericho. As he went out from Jericho with his disciples and a great multitude, the son of Timaeus, Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, was sitting by the road.
47 E ouvindo que era Jesus o nazareno, começou a clamar, e a dizer: Jesus, Filho de Davi! Tem misericórdia de mim!
When he heard that it was Yeshua the Nazarene, he began to cry out and say, “Yeshua, you son of David, have mercy on me!”
48 E muitos o repreendiam, para que se calasse; mas ele clamava ainda mais: Filho de Davi! Tem misericórdia de mim!
Many rebuked him, that he should be quiet, but he cried out much more, “You son of David, have mercy on me!”
49 Jesus parou, e disse: chamai-o. Então chamaram ao cego, dizendo-lhe: Tem bom ânimo, levanta-te, ele está te chamando.
Yeshua stood still and said, “Call him.” They called the blind man, saying to him, “Cheer up! Get up. He is calling you!”
50 Então ele lançou sua capa, deu um salto, e veio a Jesus.
He, casting away his cloak, sprang up, and came to Yeshua.
51 Jesus, lhe perguntou: Que queres que eu te faça? E o cego lhe disse: Mestre, que eu veja.
Yeshua asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?” The blind man said to him, “Rabboni, that I may see again.”
52 Jesus lhe disse: Vai; a tua fé te salvou. E logo consegiu ver. Então seguiu [Jesus] pelo caminho.
Yeshua said to him, “Go your way. Your faith has made you well.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Yeshua on the way.
