Levítico 21
1 E o SENHOR disse a Moisés: Fala aos sacerdotes filhos de Arão, e dize-lhes que não se contaminem por um morto em seus povos.
And the LORD said to Moses, Speak to the priests, the sons of Aaron, and say to them, There shall none be defiled for the dead among his people:
2 A não ser por seu parente próximo a si, por sua mãe, ou por seu pai, ou por seu filho, ou por seu irmão,
But for his kin, that is near to him, [that is], for his mother, and for his father, and for his son, and for his daughter, and for his brother,
3 ou por sua irmã virgem, a ele próxima, a qual não tenha tido marido, por ela se contaminará.
And for his sister a virgin, that is nigh to him, who hath had no husband: for her he may be defiled.
4 Porque é líder em seu povo, não se contaminará, fazendo-se impuro.
[But] he shall not defile himself, [being] a chief man among his people, to profane himself.
5 Não farão calva em sua cabeça, nem raparão a ponta de sua barba, nem em sua carne farão cortes.
They shall not make baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corner of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh.
6 Santos serão a seu Deus, e não profanarão o nome de seu Deus; porque oferecem os fogos do SENHOR e o pão de seu Deus; portanto, serão santos.
They shall be holy to their God, and not profane the name of their God: for the offerings of the LORD made by fire, [and] the bread of their God they do offer: therefore they shall be holy.
7 Mulher prostituta ou infame não tomarão: nem tomarão mulher repudiada de seu marido: porque é santo a seu Deus.
They shall not take a wife [that is] a lewd woman, or profane; neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband: for he [is] holy to his God.
8 O santificarás portanto, pois o pão de teu Deus oferece: santo será para ti, porque santo sou eu o SENHOR vosso santificador.
Thou shalt sanctify him therefore, for he offereth the bread of thy God: he shall be holy to thee: for I the LORD, who sanctify you, [am] holy.
9 E a filha do homem sacerdote, se começar a se prostituir, a seu pai profana: queimada será ao fogo.
And the daughter of any priest, if she shall profane herself by lewdness, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire.
10 E aquele que é o sumo sacerdote entre seus irmãos, sobre cuja cabeça foi derramado o azeite da unção, e que foi consagrado para usar as vestimentas, não descobrirá sua cabeça, nem rasgará as suas vestes;
And [he that is] the high priest among his brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil was poured, and that is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not uncover his head, nor rend his clothes;
11 nem entrará onde haja alguma pessoa morta, nem por seu pai, ou por sua mãe se contaminará.
Neither shall he go in to any dead body, nor defile himself for his father, or for his mother;
12 nem sairá do santuário, nem contaminará o santuário de seu Deus; porque a coroa do azeite da unção de seu Deus está sobre ele: Eu sou o SENHOR.
Neither shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the crown of the anointing oil of his God [is] upon him: I [am] the LORD.
13 E tomará ele mulher com sua virgindade.
And he shall take a wife in her virginity.
14 Viúva, ou repudiada, ou infame, ou prostituta, estas não tomará: mas tomará virgem de seus povos por mulher.
A widow, or a divorced woman, or profane, [or] a harlot, these shall he not take: but he shall take a virgin of his own people for a wife.
15 E não profanará sua descendência em seus povos; porque eu o SENHOR sou o que os santifico.
Neither shall he profane his seed among his people: for I the LORD do sanctify him.
16 E o SENHOR falou a Moisés, dizendo:
And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
17 Fala a Arão, e dize-lhe: O homem de tua semente em suas gerações, no qual houver falta, não se achegará para oferecer o pão de seu Deus.
Speak to Aaron, saying, whoever [he may be] of thy seed in their generations that hath [any] blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God:
18 Porque nenhum homem no qual houver falta, se achegará: homem cego, ou coxo, ou rosto mutilado, ou membro deformado,
For whatever man [he may be] that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous,
19 Ou homem no qual houver fratura de pé ou rotura da mão,
Or a man that is broken-footed, or broken-handed,
20 Ou corcunda, ou anão, ou que tiver visão embaçada, ou que tenha sarna, ou impigem, ou testículo mutilado;
Or crooked-backed, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his peculiar members broken:
21 Nenhum homem da descendência de Arão sacerdote, no qual houver falta, se achegará para oferecer as ofertas acendidas do SENHOR. Há falta nele; não se achegará a oferecer o pão de seu Deus.
No man of the seed of Aaron the priest, that hath a blemish, shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire; he hath a blemish, he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.
22 O pão de seu Deus, do muito santo e as coisas santificadas, comerá.
He shall eat the bread of his God, [both] of the most holy, and of the holy.
23 Porém não entrará do véu dentro, nem se achegará ao altar, porquanto há falta nele: e não profanará meu santuário, porque eu o SENHOR sou o que os santifico.
Only he shall not go in to the vail, nor come nigh to the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he may not profane my sanctuaries: for I the LORD do sanctify them.
24 E Moisés falou isto a Arão, e a seus filhos, e a todos os filhos de Israel.
And Moses told [it] to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all the children of Israel.
