Levítico 17

1 E falou o SENHOR a Moisés, dizendo:

And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,

2 Fala a Arão e a seus filhos, e a todos os filhos de Israel, e dize-lhes: Isto é o que mandou o SENHOR, dizendo:

“Speak to Aaron and to his sons, and to all the sons of Israel; and you have said to them: This [is] the thing which YHWH has commanded, saying,

3 Qualquer homem da casa de Israel que degolar boi, ou cordeiro, ou cabra, no acampamento, ou fora do acampamento,

Any man of the house of Israel who slaughters ox, or lamb, or goat in the camp, or who slaughters [it] at the outside of the camp,

4 E não o trouxer à porta do tabernáculo do testemunho, para oferecer oferta ao SENHOR diante do tabernáculo do SENHOR, sangue será imputado ao tal homem: sangue derramou; eliminado será o tal homem dentre seu povo:

and has not brought it in to the opening of the Tent of Meeting to bring an offering near to YHWH before the Dwelling Place of YHWH, blood is reckoned to that man—he has shed blood—and that man has been cut off from the midst of his people;

5 A fim de que tragam os filhos de Israel seus sacrifícios, os que sacrificam sobre a face do campo, para que os tragam ao SENHOR à porta do tabernáculo do testemunho ao sacerdote, e sacrifiquem eles sacrifícios pacíficos ao SENHOR.

so that the sons of Israel bring in their sacrifices which they are sacrificing on the face of the field, indeed, they have brought them to YHWH, to the opening of the Tent of Meeting, to the priest, and they have sacrificed sacrifices of peace-offerings to YHWH with them.

6 E o sacerdote espargirá o sangue sobre o altar do SENHOR, à porta do tabernáculo do testemunho, e queimará a gordura em cheiro suave ao SENHOR.

And the priest has sprinkled the blood on the altar of YHWH, at the opening of the Tent of Meeting, and has made incense with the fat for refreshing fragrance to YHWH;

7 E nunca mais sacrificarão seus sacrifícios aos demônios, atrás dos quais se prostituíram: terão isto por estatuto perpétuo por suas gerações.

and they do not sacrifice their sacrifices anymore to the goat [idols] after which they are going whoring; this is a continuous statute to them, throughout their generations.

8 Tu Lhes dirás também: Qualquer homem da casa de Israel, ou dos estrangeiros que peregrinam entre vós, que oferecer holocausto ou sacrifício,

And you say to them: Any man of the house of Israel, or of the sojourners who sojourns in your midst, who causes burnt-offering or sacrifice to ascend,

9 E não o trouxer à porta do tabernáculo do testemunho, para fazê-lo ao SENHOR, o tal homem será igualmente eliminado de seus povos.

and does not bring it in to the opening of the Tent of Meeting to make it to YHWH—that man has been cut off from his people.

10 E qualquer homem da casa de Israel, ou dos estrangeiros que peregrinam entre eles, que comer algum sangue, eu porei meu rosto contra a pessoa que comer sangue, e lhe cortarei dentre seu povo.

And any man of the house of Israel, or of the sojourners who is sojourning in your midst, who eats any blood, I have even set My face against the person who is eating the blood, and have cut him off from the midst of his people;

11 Porque a vida da carne no sangue está: e eu vos a dei para expiar vossas pessoas sobre o altar: pelo qual o mesmo sangue expiará a pessoa.

for the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar, to make atonement for your souls; for it [is] the blood which makes atonement for the soul.

12 Portanto, disse aos filhos de Israel: Nenhuma pessoa de vós comerá sangue, nem o estrangeiro que peregrina entre vós comerá sangue.

Therefore I have said to the sons of Israel: No person among you eats blood, and the sojourner who is sojourning in your midst does not eat blood;

13 E qualquer homem dos filhos de Israel, ou dos estrangeiros que peregrinam entre eles, que recolher caça de animal ou de ave que seja de comer, derramará seu sangue e o cobrirá com terra:

and any man of the sons of Israel, or of the sojourners who is sojourning in your midst, who hunts game, beast or bird, which is eaten—has even poured out its blood and covered it with dust;

14 Porque a alma de toda carne, sua vida, está em seu sangue: portanto disse aos filhos de Israel: Não comereis o sangue de nenhuma carne, porque a vida de toda carne é seu sangue; qualquer um que a comer será eliminado.

for [it is] the life of all flesh, its blood is for its life; and I say to the sons of Israel: You do not eat [the] blood of any flesh, for the life of all flesh is its blood; anyone eating it is cut off.

15 E qualquer um pessoa que comer coisa morta ou despedaçada por fera, tanto dos naturais como dos estrangeiros, lavará suas roupas e a si mesmo se lavará com água, e será impuro até à tarde; e se limpará.

And any person who eats a carcass or torn thing, among natives or among sojourners, has washed his garments and bathed with water, and been unclean until the evening—then he has been clean;

16 E se não os lavar, nem lavar sua carne, levará sua iniquidade.

and if he does not wash, and does not bathe his flesh—then he has borne his iniquity.”
