Levítico 12

1 E falou o SENHOR a Moisés, dizendo:

And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying:

2 Fala aos filhos de Israel, dizendo: A mulher quando conceber e der à luz macho, será impura sete dias; conforme os dias que está separada por sua menstruação, será impura.

Speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, A woman when she conceiveth seed and giveth birth to a male child, then shall she be unclean seven days, according to the days of her removal in her sickness shall she be unclean.

3 E ao oitavo dia circuncidará a carne de seu prepúcio.

And, on the eighth day, shall the flesh of his foreskin be circumcised.

4 Mas ela permanecerá trinta e três dias no sangue de sua purificação: nenhuma coisa santa tocará, nem virá ao santuário, até que sejam cumpridos os dias de sua purificação.

And, for thirty-three days, shall she continue in the blood of purification, —no hallowed thing, shall she touch, and, into the sanctuary, shall she not enter, until her days of purification are fulfilled.

5 E se der à luz fêmea será impura duas semanas, conforme sua separação, e sessenta e seis dias estará purificando-se de seu sangue.

But if, a female child, she bear, then shall she be unclean two weeks as in her removal, —and, for sixty-six days, shall she continue in the blood of purification.

6 E quando os dias de sua purificação forem cumpridos, por filho ou por filha, trará um cordeiro de ano para holocausto, e um pombinho ou uma rolinha para expiação, à porta do tabernáculo do testemunho, ao sacerdote:

And, when the days of her purification are fulfilled, whether for a son or for a daughter, she shall bring in a lamb, the choice of its year, as an ascending-sacrifice, and a young pigeon or a turtle-dove, as a sin-bearer, unto the entrance of the tent of meeting, unto the priest;

7 E ele oferecerá diante do SENHOR, e fará expiação por ela, e será limpa do fluxo de seu sangue. Esta é a lei da que der à luz macho ou fêmea.

and he shall bring it near before Yahweh so shall the priest put a propitiatory-covering over her, and she shall be clean from her fountain of blood. This, is the law for her that hath given birth, to a male child or to a female.

8 E se não alcançar sua mão o suficiente para um cordeiro, tomará então duas rolinhas ou dois pombinhos, um para holocausto, e outro para expiação: e o sacerdote fará expiação por ela, e será limpa.

But, if her hand findeth not sufficiency for a lamb, then shall she take two turtle doves or two young pigeons, one for an ascending-sacrifice and one for a sin-bearer, —so shall the priest put a propitiatory-covering over her, and she shall be clean.
