Josué 19
1 A segunda porção saiu para Simeão, pela tribo dos filhos de Simeão conforme suas famílias; e sua herança foi entre a herança dos filhos de Judá.
The second/next tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Simeon. Each clan in that tribe was allotted some land that was inside the area that had been allotted to the tribe of Judah.
2 E tiveram em sua herdade a Berseba, Seba, e Moladá,
Their land included the towns of Beersheba ([which is also named] Sheba), Moladah,
3 Hazar-Sual, Balá, e Azem,
Hazar-Shual, Balah, Ezem,
4 Eltolade, Betul, e Hormá,
Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah,
5 Ziclague, Bete-Marcabote, e Hazar-Susa,
Ziklag, Beth-Marcaboth. Hazar-Susah,
6 Bete-Lebaote, e Saruém; treze cidades com suas aldeias:
Beth-Lebaoth, and Sharuhen. Altogether there were 13 towns and the surrounding villages.
7 Aim, Rimom, Eter, e Asã; quatro cidades com suas aldeias:
The land allotted to them also included the four cities of Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan, and their surrounding villages.
8 E todas as aldeias que estavam ao redor destas cidades até Baalate-Beer, que é Ramá do sul. Esta é a herança da tribo dos filhos de Simeão, segundo suas famílias.
They were also allotted some very small villages in an area that extended south to Baalath-Beer (which is [also named] Ramah, in the southern desert). That was the land allotted to the clans of the tribe of Simeon.
9 Da porção dos filhos de Judá foi tirada a herança dos filhos de Simeão; porquanto a parte dos filhos de Judá era escessiva para eles: assim que os filhos de Simeão tiveram sua herança em meio da deles.
The tribe of Judah had been allotted much more land than they needed, so part of their land was given to the tribe of Simeon.
10 A terceira porção saiu pelos filhos de Zebulom conforme suas famílias: e o termo de sua herança foi até Saride.
The third/next tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Zebulun. Each clan of that tribe was allotted some of the land. The southern border started at Sarid [city].
11 E seu termo sobe até o mar e até Maralá, e chega até Dabesete, e dali chega ao ribeiro que está diante de Jocneão.
It extended west to Maralah [city] and on to Dabbesheth [city], and on to the brook just north of Jokneam [city].
12 E tornando de Saride até oriente, o oriente ao termo de Quislote-Tabor, sai a Daberate, e sobe a Jafia;
The border extended east from Sarid to the area near Kisloth-Tabor [city] and on to Daberath [town] and on to Japhia [town].
13 E passando dali até o lado oriental a Gate-Hefer e a Ete-Cazim, sai a Rimom rodeando a Neá;
From there it extended east to Gath-Hepher [city] and Eth-Kazin [town], and north to Rimmon [city]. From there the border extended [west] to Neah [town].
14 E daqui torna este termo ao norte a Hanatom, vindo a sair ao vale de Iftá-El;
From Neah it extended south to Hannathon [city] and from there to Iphtah-El Valley.
15 E engloba Catate, e Naalal, e Sinrom, e Idala, e Belém; doze cidades com suas aldeias.
Their area included the towns of Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem. Altogether there were twelve towns and the surrounding villages.
16 Esta é a herdade dos filhos de Zebulom por suas famílias; estas cidades com suas aldeias.
That was the land that was allotted to the clans of the tribe of Zebulun.
17 A quarta porção saiu para Issacar, pelos filhos de Issacar conforme suas famílias.
The fourth/next tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Issachar. Each of the clans of that tribe was allotted some of the land.
18 E foi seu termo Jezreel, e Quesulote, e Suném,
Their land included the cities of Jezreel, Kesulloth, Shunem,
19 E Hafaraim, e Siom, e Anaarate,
Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath,
20 E Rabite, e Quisiom, e Ebes,
Rabbith, Kishion, Ebez,
21 E Remete, e En-Ganim, e En-Hadá e Bete-Pazez;
Remeth, En-Gannim, En-Haddah, and Beth-Pazzez.
22 E chega este termo até Tabor, e Saazima, e Bete-Semes; e sai seu termo ao Jordão: dezesseis cidades com suas aldeias.
The border of the area that was allotted to the tribe of Issachar was close to Tabor, Shahazumah, and Beth-Shemesh [cities], and ended [in the east] at the Jordan [River]. Altogether there were 16 cities and the surrounding villages.
23 Esta é a herança da tribo dos filhos de Issacar conforme suas famílias; estas cidades com suas aldeias.
Those cities and villages were in the land allotted to the clans of the tribe of Issachar.
24 E saiu a quinta porção pela tribo dos filhos de Aser por suas famílias.
The fifth/next tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Asher. Each of the clans in that tribe was allotted some of the land.
25 E seu termo foi Helcate, e Hali, e Béten, e Acsafe,
Their land included the towns of Helkath, Hali, Beten, Acshaph,
26 E Alameleque, e Amade, e Misal; e chega até Carmelo ao ocidente, e a Sior-Libnate;
Allammelech, Amad, and Mishal. The western border started at Carmel [Mountain] and Shihor-Libnath.
27 E tornando do oriente a Bete-Dagom, chega a Zebulom, e ao vale de Iftá-El ao norte, a Bete-Emeque, e a Neiel, e sai a Cabul à esquerda;
From there it extended [southeast] to Beth-Dagon [town], and then to [the area that was allotted to the tribe of] Zebulun and Iphtah-El Valley. From there the border extended east and then north to Beth-Emek [town] and Neiel and Cabul [towns].
28 E engloba a Hebrom, e Reobe, e Hamom, e Caná, até a grande Sidom;
From there it extended west to Abdon, Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah [cities], and continued to Sidon, which is a big city.
29 E torna dali este termo a Hormá, e até a forte cidade de Tiro, e torna este termo a Hosa, e sai ao mar desde o território de Aczibe:
From there the border extended south toward Ramah and to the big city of Tyre that had strong walls around it. From there the border extended [west] to Hosah [town] and ended at the [Mediterranean] Sea. Within their area were the towns of Aczib,
30 Engloba também Umá, e Afeque, e Reobe: vinte e duas cidades com suas aldeias.
Ummah, Aphek, and Rehob. Altogether there were 22 towns and their surrounding villages.
31 Esta é a herança da tribo dos filhos de Aser por suas famílias; estas cidades com suas aldeias.
Those cities and villages were within the land that was allotted to the clans of the tribe of Asher.
32 A sexta porção saiu para os filhos de Naftali, pelos filhos de Naftali conforme suas famílias.
The sixth/next tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Naphtali. Each of the clans in that tribe was allotted some of the land.
33 E foi seu termo desde Helefe, e Alom-Zaanim, e Adami-Neguebe, e Jabneel, até Lacum; e sai ao Jordão;
The border of their land started [in the west] at the [huge] oak tree at Zaanannim, near Heleph [town]. It extended [east] through Adami-Nekeb [city] and Jabneel, and then to Lakkum, and ended at the Jordan [River].
34 E tornando dali este termo até o ocidente a Aznote-Tabor, passa dali a Hucoque, e chega até Zebulom ao sul, e ao ocidente confina com Aser, e com Judá ao Jordão até o oriente.
The western boundary extended through Aznoth-Tabor as far as Hukkok [city]. It extended to the borders of [the tribe of] Zebulun at the south, to [the border of the tribe of] Asher on the west, and the Jordan [River] at the east.
35 E as cidades fortes são Zidim, Zer, e Hamate, Racate, e Quinerete,
[Within their land were] several cities with strong walls around them. They were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Kinnereth,
36 E Adama, e Ramá, e Hazor,
Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,
37 E Quedes, e Edrei, e En-Hazor,
Kedesh, Edrei, En-Hazor,
38 E Irom, e Migdal-Ele, e Horém, e Bete-Anate, e Bete-Semes: dezenove cidades com suas aldeias.
Iron, Migdal-El, Horem, Beth-Anath, and Beth-Shemesh. Altogether there were 19 cities and the surrounding villages.
39 Esta é a herança da tribo dos filhos de Naftali por suas famílias; estas cidades com suas aldeias.
Those cities and surrounding villages were in the land that was allotted to the clans of the tribe of Naphtali.
40 A sétima porção saiu para a tribo dos filhos de Dã por suas famílias.
The seventh/last tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Dan. Each of the clans in that tribe was allotted some of the land.
41 E foi o termo de sua herança, Zorá, e Estaol, e Ir-Semes,
Their land included the towns of Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir-Shemesh,
42 E Saalabim, e Aijalom, e Itla,
Shaalabbin, Aijalon, Ithlah,
43 E Elom, e Timna, e Ecrom,
Elon, Timnah, Ekron,
44 E Elteque, Gibetom, e Baalate,
Eltekeh, Gibbethon, Baalath,
45 E Jeúde, e Bene-Beraque, e Gate-Rimom,
Jehud, Bene-Berak, Gath-Rimmon,
46 E Me-Jarcom, e Racom, com o termo que está diante de Jope.
Me-Jarkon, Rakkon, and the area near Joppa.
47 E faltou-lhes termo aos filhos de Dã; e subiram os filhos de Dã e combateram a Lesém, e tomando-a feriram-na a fio de espada, e a possuíram, e habitaram nela; e chamaram a Lesém, Dã, do nome de Dã seu pai.
But the people of the tribe of Dan were unable to take control of the land that had been allotted to them. So they went [northeast] and fought against the people in Leshem [city]. They defeated and killed all the people who lived there. Then they began to live in Leshem, and changed the name of the city to Dan, the man from whom their tribe descended.
48 Esta é a herança da tribo dos filhos de Dã conforme suas famílias; estas cidades com suas aldeias.
All of those towns and surrounding villages were in the land that was allotted to the clans in the tribe of Dan.
49 E depois que acabaram de repartir a terra em herança por seus termos, deram os filhos de Israel herança a Josué filho de Num em meio deles:
After the Israeli leaders divided the land among the tribes, they allotted some land to Joshua.
50 Segundo a palavra do SENHOR, lhe deram a cidade que ele pediu, Timnate-Heres, no monte de Efraim; e ele reedificou a cidade, e habitou nela.
They allotted to him Timnath-Serah. Yahweh had said that he could have whatever city he wanted, and that was the city that he chose. It was in the hilly region which was allotted to the tribe of Ephraim. Joshua rebuilt the city and lived there.
51 Estas são as propriedades que Eleazar sacerdote, e Josué filho de Num, e os principais dos pais, entregaram por sorte em possessão às tribos dos filhos de Israel em Siló diante do SENHOR, à entrada do tabernáculo do testemunho; e acabaram de repartir a terra.
Those were the areas that were allotted to the various tribes of Israel. Eleazar the Supreme Priest and Joshua and the leaders of each tribe divided up the land while they were all at Shiloh, by (casting lots/throwing marked stones) [to decide which area each tribe would receive]. They did that while Yahweh was watching, at the entrance of the Sacred Tent. In that way they completed dividing up the land.
