João 17
1 Jesus falou estas coisas, levantou seus olhos ao céu, e disse: Pai, chegada é a hora; glorifica a teu Filho, para que também teu Filho glorifique a ti.
These things Jesus spoke, and lifted up his eyes to heaven and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son may glorify thee;
2 Assim como lhe deste poder sobre toda carne, para que a todos quantos lhe deste, lhes dê a vida eterna. (aiōnios g166)
as thou hast given him authority over all flesh, that [as to] all that thou hast given to him, he should give them life eternal. (aiōnios g166)
3 E esta é a vida eterna: que conheçam a ti, o único Deus verdadeiro, e a Jesus Cristo, a quem tens enviado. (aiōnios g166)
And this is the eternal life, that they should know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent. (aiōnios g166)
4 Eu já te glorifiquei na terra; consumado tenho a obra que me deste para eu fazer.
I have glorified thee on the earth, I have completed the work which thou gavest me that I should do it;
5 E agora glorifica-me tu, ó Pai, junto de ti mesmo, com aquela glória que eu tinha junto de ti, antes que o mundo existisse.
and now glorify me, thou Father, along with thyself, with the glory which I had along with thee before the world was.
6 Manifestei teu nome aos seres humanos que me deste do mundo. Eles eram teus, e tu os deste a mim; e eles guardaram tua palavra.
I have manifested thy name to the men whom thou gavest me out of the world. They were thine, and thou gavest them me, and they have kept thy word.
7 Agora eles sabem que tudo quanto me deste vem de ti.
Now they have known that all things that thou hast given me are of thee;
8 Porque as palavras que tu me deste eu lhes dei; e eles [as] receberam, e verdadeiramente reconheceram que eu saí de ti, e creram que tu me enviaste.
for the words which thou hast given me I have given them, and they have received [them], and have known truly that I came out from thee, and have believed that thou sentest me.
9 Eu rogo por eles; não rogo pelo mundo, mas sim por aqueles que tu me deste, porque são teus.
I demand concerning them; I do not demand concerning the world, but concerning those whom thou hast given me, for they are thine,
10 E todas as minhas coisas são tuas; e as tuas coisas são minhas; e nelas sou glorificado.
(and all that is mine is thine, and [all] that is thine mine, ) and I am glorified in them.
11 E eu já não estou no mundo; porém estes [ainda] estão no mundo, e eu venho a ti. Pai Santo, guarda-os em teu nome, a aqueles que tens me dado, para que sejam um, como nós [somos].
And I am no longer in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name which thou hast given me, that they may be one as we.
12 Quando eu com eles estava no mundo, em teu nome eu os guardava. A aqueles que tu me deste eu os tenho guardado; e nenhum deles se perdeu, a não ser o filho da perdição, para que a Escritura se cumpra.
When I was with them I kept them in thy name; those thou hast given me I have guarded, and not one of them has perished, but the son of perdition, that the scripture might be fulfilled.
13 Mas agora venho a ti, e falo isto no mundo, para que em si mesmos tenham minha alegria completa.
And now I come to thee. And these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in them.
14 Tua palavra lhes dei, e o mundo os odiou, porque não são do mundo, assim como eu não sou do mundo.
I have given them thy word, and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, as I am not of the world.
15 Não suplico que os tires do mundo, mas que os guardes do maligno.
I do not demand that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them out of evil.
16 Eles não são do mundo, assim como eu não sou do mundo.
They are not of the world, as I am not of the world.
17 Santifica-os em tua verdade; tua palavra é a verdade.
Sanctify them by the truth: thy word is truth.
18 Assim como tu me enviaste, eu os enviei ao mundo.
As thou hast sent me into the world, I also have sent them into the world;
19 E por eles a mim mesmo me santifico, para que também eles seja santificados em verdade.
and I sanctify myself for them, that they also may be sanctified by truth.
20 E não suplico somente por estes, mas também por aqueles que crerão em mim, por sua palavra.
And I do not demand for these only, but also for those who believe on me through their word;
21 Para que todos sejam um; como tu, Pai, em mim, e eu em ti, que também eles em nós sejam um; para que o mundo creia que tu tens me enviado.
that they may be all one, as thou, Father, [art] in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us, that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 E eu tenho lhes dado a glória que tu me deste, para que sejam um, tal como nós somos um.
And the glory which thou hast given me I have given them, that they may be one, as we are one;
23 Eu neles, e tu em mim; para que sejam completos em um; e para que o mundo conheça que tu me enviaste, e que tu os amaste, assim como me amaste.
I in them and thou in me, that they may be perfected into one [and] that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and [that] thou hast loved them as thou hast loved me.
24 Pai, aqueles que tens me dado, quero que onde eu estiver, eles também estejam comigo; para que vejam minha glória, que tens me dado, pois tu me amaste desde antes da fundação do mundo.
Father, [as to] those whom thou hast given me, I desire that where I am they also may be with me, that they may behold my glory which thou hast given me, for thou lovedst me before [the] foundation of [the] world.
25 Pai justo, o mundo também não tem te conhecido, e estes têm conhecido que tu me enviaste.
Righteous Father, — and the world has not known thee, but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
26 E eu fiz teu nome ser conhecido por eles, e eu farei com que seja conhecido, para que o amor com que me amaste esteja neles, e eu neles.
And I have made known to them thy name, and will make [it] known; that the love with which thou hast loved me may be in them and I in them.
