Jeremias 33
1 E veio a palavra do SENHOR a Jeremias pela segunda vez, estando ele ainda preso no pátio da guarda, dizendo:
And the word of Jehovah came to Jeremiah the second time, while he was still shut up in the court of the prison, saying,
2 Assim diz o SENHOR que faz [isto]; o SENHOR, que forma isto para o confirmar; EU-SOU é o seu nome:
Thus saith Jehovah the doer of it, Jehovah that formeth it to establish it, Jehovah is his name:
3 Clama a mim, e eu te responderei; e te direi coisas grandes e difíceis que tu não conheces.
Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and I will shew thee great and hidden things, which thou knowest not.
4 Pois assim diz o SENHOR, Deus de Israel, quanto às casas desta cidade, e às casas dos reis de Judá, que foram derrubadas com as rampas de cerco e com espada:
For thus saith Jehovah the God of Israel concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down because of the mounds and because of the sword:
5 Vieram lutar contra os caldeus, para enchê-las de cadáveres de homens, aos quais feri em minha ira e meu furor; pois escondi meu rosto desta cidade, por causa de toda a sua malícia.
They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but to fill them with the dead bodies of the men whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city.
6 Eis que eu lhes trarei saúde e cura, e os sararei; e lhes manifestarei abundância de paz e de verdade.
Behold, I will apply a healing dressing to it and cure, and I will heal them, and will reveal unto them an abundance of peace and truth.
7 E restaurarei Judá de seu infortúnio, e israel de seu infortúnio, e os edificarei como no princípio.
And I will turn the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel, and will build them, as at the beginning.
8 E os purificarei de toda a sua maldade [com] que pecaram contra mim; e perdoarei todas as suas maldades [com] que pecaram contra mim, e que se rebelaram contra mim.
And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me, and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned against me, and whereby they have transgressed against me.
9 E [esta cidade] será para mim como nome de alegria, de louvor e de glória, entre todas as nações da terra, que ouvirem todo o bem que eu lhes faço; e se espantarão e tremerão por causa de todo o bem e de toda a paz que eu lhes darei.
And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and a glory before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear of all the good that I do unto them; and they shall fear and tremble for all the good and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.
10 Assim diz o SENHOR: Neste lugar, do qual dizeis que está desolado, sem homens nem animais, nas cidades de Judá e nas ruas de Jerusalém, que estão desoladas, sem homem, nem morador, nem animal, ainda se ouvirá
Thus saith Jehovah: In this place of which ye say, It is waste, without man and without beast! in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,
11 Voz de júbilo e voz de alegria, voz de noivo e voz de noiva, e voz dos que dizem: Louvai ao SENHOR dos exércitos, pois o SENHOR é bom; pois sua bondade dura para sempre; [e também] dos que trazem louvor à casa do SENHOR; porque restaurarei esta terra de seu infortúnio para o que era no princípio, diz o SENHOR.
there shall again be heard the voice of mirth and the voice of joy, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that say, Give ye thanks unto Jehovah of hosts; for Jehovah is good, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever, — of them that bring thanksgiving unto the house of Jehovah. For I will turn the captivity of the land as in the beginning, saith Jehovah.
12 Assim diz o SENHOR dos exércitos: Neste lugar desolado, sem homem nem animal, e em todas as suas cidades, haverá novamente morada de pastores, que façam deitar o gado.
Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: In this place which is waste, without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, there shall again be a habitation of shepherds causing [their] flocks to lie down.
13 Nas cidades das montanhas, nas cidades das planícies, nas cidades do Negueve, na terra de Benjamim, e ao redor de Jerusalém e nas cidades de Judá, novamente passará o gado pelas mãos dos contadores, diz o SENHOR.
In the cities of the hill-country, in the cities of the lowland, and in the cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the environs of Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him that counteth [them], saith Jehovah.
14 Eis que vêm dias, diz o SENHOR, em que eu confirmarei a boa palavra que prometi à casa de Israel e à casa de Judá.
Behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that I will perform the good word which I have spoken unto the house of Israel and unto the house of Judah.
15 Naqueles dias e naquele tempo farei brotar a Davi um Renovo de justiça; e ele fará juízo e justiça na terra.
In those days, and at that time, will I cause a Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.
16 Naqueles dias Judá será salvo, e Jerusalém habitará em segurança, e isto é o que a chamarão: O SENHOR [é] a nossa justiça.
In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell in safety. And this is the name wherewith she shall be called: Jehovah our Righteousness.
17 Pois assim diz o SENHOR: Não faltará a Davi homem que se sente sobre o trono da casa de Israel;
For thus saith Jehovah: There shall never fail to David a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;
18 Nem aos sacerdotes levitas faltará homem diante de mim que ofereça holocaustos, queime oferta de cereais, e faça sacrifícios todos os dias.
neither shall there fail to the priests the Levites a man before me to offer up burnt-offerings, and to burn oblations, and to do sacrifice continually.
19 E veio a palavra do SENHOR a Jeremias, dizendo:
And the word of Jehovah came to Jeremiah, saying,
20 Assim diz o SENHOR: Se puderdes invalidar meu pacto do dia e meu pacto da noite, de tal modo que não haja dia e noite a seu tempo,
Thus saith Jehovah: If ye can break my covenant [in respect] of the day, and my covenant [in respect] of the night, so that there should not be day and night in their season,
21 Também se poderá invalidar meu pacto com meu servo Davi, para que não tenha filho que reine sobre seu trono, e com os levitas e sacerdotes, trabalhadores a meu serviço.
[then] shall also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites, the priests, my ministers.
22 Assim como não se pode contar o exército do céu, nem se pode medir a areia do mar, assim também multiplicarei a descendência de Davi meu servo, e os levitas que me servem.
As the host of the heavens cannot be numbered, nor the sand of the sea measured, so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me.
23 E veio a palavra do SENHOR a Jeremias, dizendo:
And the word of Jehovah came to Jeremiah, saying,
24 Por acaso não tens visto o que este povo fala? Eles dizem: As duas famílias que o SENHOR havia escolhido agora ele as rejeitou. E desprezam a meu povo, como se não o considerassem mais como nação.
Hast thou not seen what this people have spoken, saying, The two families that Jehovah had chosen, he hath even cast them off? And they despise my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.
25 Assim diz o SENHOR: Se meu pacto com o dia e a noite não durasse, se eu não tivesse estabelecido as leis do céu e a terra,
Thus saith Jehovah: If my covenant of day and night [stand] not, if I have not appointed the ordinances of the heavens and the earth,
26 Então também rejeitaria a descendência de Jacó, e de Davi meu servo, para que não tomasse da sua descendência aos que governem sobre a descendência de Abraão, Isaque, e Jacó. Pois eu os restaurarei de seu infortúnio, e deles terei misericórdia.
[then] will I also cast away the seed of Jacob, and of David my servant, so as not to take of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will turn their captivity, and will have mercy on them.
