Isaías 61
1 O Espírito do Senhor DEUS está sobre mim; pois o SENHOR me ungiu, para dar boas novas aos mansos; ele me enviou para sarar aos feridos de coração, para anunciar liberdade aos cativos, e libertação aos prisioneiros.
The Spirit of the LORD is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and an opening of the eyes to the blind;
2 Para anunciar o ano do favor do SENHOR, e o dia da vingança de nosso Deus; para consolar todos os tristes.
to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn;
3 Para ordenar aos tristes de Sião, que lhes seja dado ornamento no lugar de cinza, óleo de alegria no lugar de tristeza, vestes de louvor no lugar de espírito angustiado; para que sejam chamados de carvalhos da justiça, plantação do SENHOR; para que ele seja glorificado.
to appoint to those who mourn in Zion, to give to them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he may be glorified.
4 E edificarão os lugares arruinados desde os tempos antigos, restaurarão os desde antes destruídos, e renovarão as cidades arruinadas, destruídas desde muitas gerações.
They shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
5 E estrangeiros apascentarão vossos rebanhos, e filhos de outras nações serão vossos lavradores e vossos trabalhadores nas vinhas.
Strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and foreigners shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.
6 Porém vós sereis chamados sacerdotes do SENHOR; chamarão a vós de trabalhadores a serviço de nosso Deus; comereis dos bens das nações, e da riqueza deles vós vos orgulhareis.
But you shall be named the priests of the LORD; men will call you the ministers of our God: you will eat the wealth of the nations, and you will boast in their glory.
7 Em vez de vossa vergonha, [tereis] porção dobrada; e [em vez] de humilhação, terão alegria sobre sua parte; pois em sua terra terão posse do dobro, [e] terão alegria eterna.
Instead of your shame you shall have double; and instead of dishonor they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess double; everlasting joy shall be to them.
8 Porque eu, o SENHOR, amo a justiça, e odeio o roubo com sacrifício de queima; e farei que sua obra seja em verdade, e farei um pacto eterno com eles.
"For I, the LORD, love justice, and I hate robbery with iniquity; and I will give them their recompense in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.
9 E sua descendência será conhecida entre as nações, e seus descendentes em meio aos povos; todos quantos os virem, os reconhecerão, que são descendência abençoada pelo SENHOR.
Their offspring shall be known among the nations, and their descendants among the peoples; all who see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the offspring which the LORD has blessed."
10 Eu estou muito jubilante no SENHOR, minha alma se alegra em meu Deus; porque ele me vestiu de roupas de salvação; ele me cobriu com a capa da justiça, tal como o noivo [quando] se veste da roupa sacerdotal, e como a noiva se enfeita com suas joias.
I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation, he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
11 Porque tal como a terra produz seus renovos, e como o jardim faz brotar o que nele se semeia, assim também o Senhor DEUS fará brotar justiça e louvor diante de todas as nações.
For as the earth brings forth its bud, and as the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the LORD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.
