Isaías 60
1 Levanta-te! Brilha! Porque já chegou a tua luz; e a glória do SENHOR já está raiando sobre ti.
Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.
2 Porque eis que as trevas cobrirão a terra, e a escuridão aos povos; porém sobre ti o SENHOR virá raiando, e sua glória será vista sobre ti.
For behold, darkness covers the earth, and thick darkness is over the peoples; but the LORD will rise upon you, and His glory will appear over you.
3 E as nações virão à tua luz, e os reis ao brilho que raiou a ti.
Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.
4 Levanta teus olhos ao redor, e vê; todos estes se ajuntaram, [e] vem a ti; teus filhos virão de longe, e tuas filhas serão criadas ao teu lado.
Lift up your eyes and look around: They all gather and come to you; your sons will come from afar, and your daughters will be carried on the arm.
5 Então verás, e te alegrarás; teu coração palpitará e se encherá de alegria, porque a abundância do mar a ti se voltará, as riquezas das nações a ti chegarão.
Then you will look and be radiant, and your heart will tremble and swell with joy, because the riches of the sea will be brought to you, and the wealth of the nations will come to you.
6 Multidão de camelos te cobrirá; dromedários de Midiã e Efá, todos virão de Sabá; trarão ouro e incenso, e declararão louvores ao SENHOR.
Caravans of camels will cover your land, young camels of Midian and Ephah, and all from Sheba will come, bearing gold and frankincense and proclaiming the praises of the LORD.
7 Todas as ovelhas de Quedar se ajuntarão a ti; os carneiros de Nebaiote te servirão; com agrado subirão ao meu altar, e eu glorificarei a casa de minha glória.
All the flocks of Kedar will be gathered to you; the rams of Nebaioth will serve you and go up on My altar with acceptance; I will adorn My glorious house.
8 Quem são estes que vêm voando como nuvens, e como pombas às suas janelas?
Who are these who fly like clouds, like doves to their shelters?
9 Pois as ilhas me esperarão, e primeiro os navios de Társis, para trazer teus filhos de longe, sua prata e seu ouro com eles; para o nome do SENHOR teu Deus, e para o Santo de Israel, porque ele te glorificou.
Surely the islands will wait for Me, with the ships of Tarshish in the lead, to bring your children from afar, with their silver and gold, to the honor of the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, for He has glorified you.
10 E filhos de estrangeiros edificarão teus muros, e seus reis te servirão; porque em minha ira eu te feri, porém em meu favor tive misericórdia de ti.
Foreigners will rebuild your walls, and their kings will serve you. Although I struck you in anger, yet in favor I will show you mercy.
11 E tuas portas estarão continuamente abertas, nem de dia nem de noite se fecharão; para que tragam a ti as riquezas das nações, e seus reis [a ti] sejam trazidos.
Your gates will always stand open; they will never be shut, day or night, so that the wealth of the nations may be brought into you, with their kings being led in procession.
12 Pois a nação e reino que não te servirem perecerão; e tais nações serão assoladas por completo.
For the nation or kingdom that will not serve you will perish; it will be utterly destroyed.
13 A glória do Líbano virá a ti, a faia, o pinheiro, e o cipreste juntamente, para ornamentarem o lugar do meu santuário, e glorificarei o lugar de meus pés.
The glory of Lebanon will come to you— its cypress, elm, and boxwood together— to adorn the place of My sanctuary, and I will glorify the place of My feet.
14 Também virão a ti inclinados os filhos dos que te oprimiram, e se prostrarão às pisadas de teus pés todos os que blasfemaram de ti; e te chamarão a cidade do SENHOR, a Sião do Santo de Israel.
The sons of your oppressors will come and bow down to you; all who reviled you will fall facedown at your feet and call you the City of the LORD, Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
15 Em vez de abandonada e odiada, [de tal modo] que ninguém passava [por ti], eu farei de ti uma excelência eterna, alegria de geração após geração.
Whereas you have been forsaken and despised, with no one passing through, I will make you an everlasting pride, a joy from age to age.
16 E mamarás o leite das nações, e mamarás os peitos dos reis; e saberás que eu sou o SENHOR, teu Salvador e teu Redentor, o Poderoso de Jacó.
You will drink the milk of nations and nurse at the breasts of royalty; you will know that I, the LORD, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.
17 Em vez de bronze trarei ouro, e em vez de ferro trarei prata, e em vez de madeira bronze, e em vez de pedras ferro; e farei pacíficos teus oficiais, e justos aqueles que cobram de ti.
Instead of bronze I will bring you gold; I will bring silver in place of iron, bronze instead of wood, and iron instead of stones. I will appoint peace as your governor and righteousness as your ruler.
18 Nunca mais se ouvirá falar de violência em tua terra; [nem] ruína, nem destruição dentro de tuas fronteiras; em vez disso, a teus muros chamarás Salvação, e a tuas portas Louvor.
No longer will violence be heard in your land, nor ruin or destruction within your borders. But you will name your walls Salvation and your gates Praise.
19 Nunca mais o sol te servirá para luz do dia, nem com [seu] brilho a lua te iluminará; mas o SENHOR será tua luz eterna, e teu Deus o teu ornamento.
No longer will the sun be your light by day, nor the brightness of the moon shine on your night; for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your splendor.
20 Nunca mais o teu sol irá se por, nem tua lua minguará; porque o SENHOR será tua luz eterna, e os dias de teu luto se acabarão.
Your sun will no longer set, and your moon will not wane; for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and the days of your sorrow will cease.
21 E todos os de teu povo serão justos; para sempre terão posse da terra; serão renovo de minha plantação, obra de minhas mãos, para que eu seja glorificado.
Then all your people will be righteous; they will possess the land forever; they are the branch of My planting, the work of My hands, so that I may be glorified.
22 O menor será mil, e o de menor tamanho será um povo forte; eu, o SENHOR, o farei depressa em seu [devido] tempo.
The least of you will become a thousand, and the smallest a mighty nation. I am the LORD; in its time I will accomplish it quickly.
