Isaías 56
1 Assim diz o SENHOR: Guardai o que é justo, e praticai a justiça; porque minha salvação já está perto de vir, e minha justiça de se manifestar.
Thus saith the Lord, Keepe iudgement and doe iustice: for my saluation is at hand to come, and my righteousnes to be reueiled.
2 Bem-aventurado o homem que fizer isto, e o filho do homem que permanece nisto; que se guarda para não profanar o sábado, e guarda sua mão para não cometer algum mal.
Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the sonne of man which layeth holde on it: hee that keepeth the Sabbath and polluteth it not, and keepeth his hand from doing any euill.
3 E não fale o filho do estrangeiro, que tiver se ligado ao SENHOR, dizendo: Certamente o SENHOR me excluiu de seu povo; nem fale o eunuco: Eis que sou uma árvore seca.
And let not the sonne of the stranger, which is ioyned to the Lord, speake and say, The Lord hath surely separate me from his people: neither let the Eunuch say, Beholde, I am a drye tree.
4 Porque assim diz o SENHOR: Aos eunucos, que guardam os meus sábados, e escolhe aquilo em que me agrado, e permanecem em meu pacto,
For thus saith the Lord vnto the Eunuches, that keepe my Sabbaths, and chuse the thing that pleaseth me, and take holde of my couenant,
5 Eu também lhes darei em minha casa, e dentro de meus muros, lugar e nome, melhor que o de filhos e filhas; darei um nome eterno a cada um deles, que nunca se apagará.
Euen vnto them wil I giue in mine House and within my walles, a place and a name better then of the sonnes and of the daughters: I will giue them an euerlasting name, that shall not be put out.
6 E aos filhos dos estrangeiros, que se ligarem ao SENHOR, para o servirem, e para amarem o nome do SENHOR, e para serem seus servos, todos os que guardarem o sábado, não o profanando, e os que permanecerem em meu pacto,
Also the strangers that cleaue vnto the Lord, to serue him, and to loue the Name of the Lord, and to be his seruants: euery one that keepeth the Sabbath, and polluteth it not and imbraceth my couenant,
7 Eu os levarei ao meu santo monte, e lhes farei se alegrarem em minha casa de oração; seus holocaustos e seus sacrifícios serão aceitos em meu altar; porque minha casa será chamada “Casa de oração para todos os povos”.
Them wil I bring also to mine holy mountaine, and make them ioyfull in mine House of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted vpon mine altar: for mine House shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
8 [Assim] diz o Senhor DEUS, que junta os dispersos de Israel: Ainda [outros] mais lhe ajuntarei, além dos que já lhe foram ajuntados.
The Lord God sayth, which gathereth the scattered of Israel, Yet wil I gather to them those that are to be gathered to them.
9 Todos vós, animais do campo, vinde comer!
All ye beastes of the fielde, come to deuoure, euen all ye beastes of the forest.
10 Todos os seus vigilantes são cegos, nada sabem; todos são cães mudos, não podem latir; andam adormecidos, estão deitados, e amam cochilar.
Their watchmen are all blinde: they haue no knowledge: they are all dumme dogs: they can not barke: they lie and sleepe and delite in sleeping.
11 E estes são cães gulosos, não conseguem se satisfazer; e eles são pastores que nada sabem entender; todos eles se viram a seus caminhos, cada um à sua ganância, [cada um] por si.
And these griedy dogs can neuer haue ynough: and these shepheards cannot vnderstand: for they all looke to their owne way, euery one for his aduantage, and for his owne purpose.
12 [Eles dizem]: Vinde, trarei vinho, e nos encheremos de bebida alcoólica; e o dia de amanhã será como hoje, e muito melhor!
Come, I wil bring wine, and we wil fill our selues with strong drinke, and to morowe shalbe as this day, and much more abundant.
