Isaías 4

1 E sete mulheres tomarão um [mesmo] homem naquele dia, dizendo: Nós comeremos de nosso pão, e nos vestiremos de nossas roupas; [queremos] somente que teu nome seja posto sobre nós; livra-nos de nossa vergonha!

And seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own raiment: only let your name be called upon us, [and] take away our reproach.

2 Naquele dia o Renovo do SENHOR será belo e glorioso; e o fruto da terra de excelente valor, para os de Israel que escaparem [do perigo].

And in that day God shall shine gloriously in counsel on the earth, to exalt and glorify the remnant of Israel.

3 E será que aquele que continuar em Sião e aquele que for deixado em Jerusalém será chamado santo; todo aquele que em Jerusalém está escrito para a vida;

And it shall be, [that] the remnant left in Sion, and the remnant left in Jerusalem, [even] all that are appointed to life in Jerusalem, shall be called holy.

4 Quando o Senhor lavar a imundícia das filhas de Sião, e limpar o sangue de Jerusalém do meio dela, com o espírito de juízo, e com o espírito de queima.

For the Lord shall wash away the filth of the sons and daughters of Sion, and shall purge out the blood from the midst of them, with the spirit of judgment, and the spirit of burning.

5 E o SENHOR criará sobre toda moradia do monte de Sião, e sobre seus ajuntamentos, uma nuvem de dia, e uma fumaça, e um brilho de fogo inflamado de noite; porque sobre toda glória haverá proteção.

And he shall come, and it shall be with regard to every place of mount Sion, yes, all the region round about it shall a cloud overshadow by day, and [there shall be] as it were the smoke and light of fire burning by night: and upon all the glory shall be a defence.

6 E haverá uma tenda para sombra contra o calor do dia, e para refúgio e abrigo contra a tempestade e contra a chuva.

And it shall be for a shadow from the heat, and as a shelter and a hiding place from inclemency [of weather] and from rain.
