Oséias 2
1 Dizei a vossos irmãos: Meu Povo, e vossas irmãs: Amada.
“Say to your brothers—Ammi, And to your sisters—Ruhamah.
2 Repreendei vossa mãe, repreendei; porque ela não é minha mulher, nem eu seu marido; que tire suas prostituições diante de si, e seus adultérios dentre seus peitos;
Plead with your mother—plead (For she [is] not My wife, and I [am] not her husband), And she turns her whoredoms from before her, And her adulteries from between her breasts,
3 Para não acontecer que eu a deixe nua, e a ponha como no dia em que nasceu, e a faça como um deserto, e a deixe como terra seca, e a mate de sede.
Lest I strip her naked. And have set her up as [in] the day of her birth, And have made her as a wilderness, And have set her as a dry land, And have put her to death with thirst.
4 E não terei compaixão de seus filhos, porque são filhos de prostituições.
And her sons I do not pity, For they [are] sons of whoredoms,
5 Pois sua mãe se prostituiu; a que os concebeu age de forma vergonhosa; porque disse: Irei atrás meus amantes, que dão meu pão e minha água, minha lã e meu linho, meu azeite e minha bebida.
For their mother has gone whoring, Their conceiver has acted shamefully, For she has said, I go after my lovers, Those giving my bread and my water, My wool and my flax, my oil and my drink.
6 Portanto eis que cercarei teu caminho com espinhos, e levantarei uma parede de sebe, de modo que ela não poderá achar suas veredas.
Therefore, behold, I am hedging up your way with thorns, And I have made a wall for her, And her paths she does not find.
7 E ela correrá atrás de seus amantes, mas não os alcançará; ela os buscará, mas não os achará. Então dirá: Irei, e me voltarei ao meu primeiro marido; porque era melhor para mim então do que agora.
And she has pursued her lovers, And she does not overtake them, And has sought them, and does not find [them], And she has said: I go, and I return to my first husband, For—better to me then than now.
8 E ela não reconhecia que era eu que lhe dava o trigo, o vinho, e o azeite, e lhe multiplicava a prata e o ouro que usavam para Baal.
And she did not know that I had given to her The grain, and the new wine, and the oil. Indeed, I multiplied silver to her, And the gold they prepared for Ba‘al.
9 Portanto tomarei de volta meu trigo a seu tempo, e meu vinho à sua estação, e tirarei minha lã e meu linho que servia para cobrir sua nudez.
Therefore I return, And I have taken My grain in its season, And My new wine in its appointed time, And I have taken away My wool and My flax, covering her nakedness.
10 E agora deixarei exposta sua loucura diante dos olhos de seus amantes, e ninguém a livrará de minha mão.
And now I reveal her dishonor before the eyes of her lovers, And none deliver her out of My hand.
11 E farei cessar toda a sua alegria, suas festas, suas novas luas e seus sábados, e todas as suas festividades.
And I have caused all her joy to cease, Her festival, her new moon, and her Sabbath, Even all her appointed times,
12 Devastarei suas vides e suas figueiras, das quais diz: Estas são meu salário, que meus amantes me deram. Eu as reduzirei a uma matagal, e os animais do campo as comerão.
And made desolate her vine and her fig tree, Of which she said, They [are] a wage to me, That my lovers have given to me, And I have made them for a forest, And a beast of the field has consumed them.
13 Eu a castigarei pelos dias em que ela queimava incensos a Baal, e se adornava de seus pendentes e de suas joias, e seguia seus amantes, tendo se esquecido de mim, diz o SENHOR.
And I have charged on her the days of the Ba‘alim, To whom she makes incense, And puts on her ring and her ornament, And goes after her lovers, And forgot Me,” a declaration of YHWH.
14 Portanto, eis que eu a atrairei, e a levarei ao deserto, e falarei ao seu coração.
“Therefore, behold, I am enticing her, And have caused her to go to the wilderness, And I have spoken to her heart,
15 E dali lhe darei suas vinhas, e o vale de Acor por porta de esperança; e ali ela cantará como nos tempos de sua juventude, como no dia em que subiu da terra do Egito.
And given to her her vineyards from there, And the Valley of Achor for an opening of hope, And she has responded there as in the days of her youth, And as in the day of her coming up out of the land of Egypt.
16 E será naquele dia, diz o SENHOR, me chamarás de meu marido, e não mais me chamarás de meu Baal.
And it has come to pass in that day,” A declaration of YHWH, “You call Me: My husband, And do not call Me anymore: My lord.
17 Porque tirarei de sua boca os nomes dos baalins, e nunca mais serão lembrados por seus nomes.
And I have turned aside the names of the lords from her mouth, And they are not remembered anymore by their name.
18 E naquele dia farei por eles uma aliança com os animais do campo, as aves do céu, e os répteis da terra; e quebrarei o arco, a espada, e a batalha da terra, e os farei deitar em segurança.
And I have made a covenant for them in that day, With the beast of the field, And with the bird of the heavens, And the creeping thing of the ground, And bow, and sword, and war I break from off the land, And have caused them to lie down confidently.
19 E te farei minha esposa para sempre; eu te farei minha esposa em justiça, juízo, bondade e misericórdias.
And I have betrothed you to Me for all time, And betrothed you to Me in righteousness, And in judgment, and kindness, and mercies,
20 E te farei minha esposa em fidelidade, e tu conhecerás ao SENHOR.
And betrothed you to Me in faithfulness, And you have known YHWH.
21 E será que naquele tempo responderei, diz o SENHOR, eu responderei ao céu, e ele responderá à terra;
And it has come to pass in that day, I answer,” A declaration of YHWH, “I answer the heavens, and they answer the earth.
22 E a terra responderá ao trigo, ao vinho, e ao azeite; e eles responderão a Jezreel.
And the earth answers the grain, And the new wine, and the oil, And they answer Jezreel.
23 E eu a semearei para mim na terra; amarei a Não-Amada; e direi a Não-Meu-Povo: Tu és meu povo; e ele dirá: [Tu és] meu Deus.
And I have sowed her to Me in the land, And I have pitied Lo-Ruhamah, And I have said to Lo-Ammi, You [are] My people, And he says, My God!”
