Oséias 1

1 A palavra do SENHOR que veio a Oseias, filho de Beeri, nos dias de Uzias, Jotão, Acaz, e Ezequias, reis de Judá, e nos dias de Joeroboão, filho de Joás, rei de Israel.

The word of the LORD that came to Hosea the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.

2 O princípio da palavra do SENHOR por Oseias. Disse, pois, o SENHOR a Oseias: Vai, toma para ti uma mulher de prostituição, e filhos de prostituições; porque a terra se prostitui munto, afastando-se do SENHOR.

When the LORD spoke at the first by Hosea, the LORD said to Hosea, "Go, take for yourself a wife of prostitution and children of unfaithfulness; for the land commits great adultery, forsaking the LORD."

3 Então ele foi, e tomou a Gômer, filha de Diblaim, a qual concebeu, e lhe deu à luz um filho.

So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim; and she conceived, and bore him a son.

4 E o SENHOR lhe disse: Chama o nome dele de Jezreel; porque daqui a pouco farei punição pelo sangue de Jezreel sobre a casa de Jeú, e farei cessar o reino da casa de Israel.

The LORD said to him, "Call his name 'Jezreel,' for yet a little while, and I will avenge the blood of Jezreel on the house of Jehu, and will cause the kingdom of the house of Israel to cease.

5 E será que naquele dia quebrarei o arco de Israel no vale de Jezreel.

It will happen in that day that I will break the bow of Israel in the Valley of Jezreel."

6 E ela voltou a conceber, e deu à luz uma filha. Então [o SENHOR] lhe disse: Chama o nome dela de Não-Amada, porque não mais amarei a casa de Israel para os perdoar.

She conceived again, and bore a daughter. Then he said to him, "Call her name 'No Compassion,' for I will no longer have compassion on the house of Israel, that I should in any way pardon them.

7 Mas a casa de Judá amarei, e os salvarei pelo SENHOR seu Deus; e não os salvarei por arco, nem por espada, nem por batalha, nem por cavalos, nem por cavaleiros.

But I will have mercy on the house of Judah, and will save them by the LORD their God, and will not save them by bow, or by sword, or by battle, or by chariots, or by horses, or by horsemen."

8 E depois de haver desmamado a Não-Amada, ela concebeu e deu à luz um filho.

Now when she had weaned No Compassion, she conceived, and bore a son.

9 E [o SENHOR] disse: Chama o nome dele de Não-Meu-Povo; porque vós não sois meu povo, por isso eu não serei vosso [Deus].

He said, "Call his name 'Not My People,' for you are 'Not my People' and I am 'Not your I AM.'

10 Todavia o número dos filhos de Israel será como a areia do mar, que não se pode medir nem contar. E acontecerá que, onde foi-lhes dito: Vós não sois meu povo, lhes será dito: Vós sois filhos do Deus vivo.

Yet the number of the children of Israel will be as the sand of the sea, which can't be measured nor numbered; and it will come to pass that, in the place where it was said to them, "You are 'Not My People,'" they will be called "Children of the Living God."

11 E os filhos de Judá e de Israel serão reunidos em um, e levantarão para si uma única cabeça, e subirão da terra; pois o dia de Jezreel será grande.

The people of Judah and the children of Israel will be gathered together, and they will appoint themselves one head, and will go up from the land; for great will be the day of Jezreel.
