Gênesis 9
1 E Deus abençoou Noé e seus filhos, e disse-lhes: Frutificai, e multiplicai, e enchei a terra:
So God blessed Noah and his sons, —and said to them Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth;
2 E vosso temor e vosso pavor será sobre todo animal da terra, e sobre toda ave dos céus, em tudo o que se mover na terra, e em todos os peixes do mar: em vossa mão são entregues.
and let the fear of you and the dread of you be upon every living creature of the earth, and upon every bird of the heavens, —over everything that moveth along on the ground, and over all the fishes of the sea, —into your hand, have they been given.
3 Tudo o que se move e vive vos será para mantimento: assim como os legumes e ervas, vos dei disso tudo.
As for every moving thing that hath life, yours, shall it be, for food, —Like the green herb, have I given you all things.
4 Porém a carne com sua vida, que é seu sangue, não comereis.
Yet flesh with the life thereof, the blood thereof, shall ye not eat;
5 Porque certamente exigirei o sangue de vossas vidas; da mão de todo animal o exigirei, e da mão do ser humano; da mão do homem seu irmão exigirei a vida do ser humano.
And surely your blood, of your lives, will I require, From the hand of every living creature, will I require it, —and from the hand of man From the hand of each one’s brother, will I require the life of man:
6 O que derramar sangue humano, pelo ser humano seu sangue será derramado; porque à imagem de Deus o ser humano foi feito.
He that sheddeth man’s blood, by man, shall his blood be shed, —For, in the image of God, made he man.
7 Mas vós frutificai, e multiplicai-vos; procriai abundantemente na terra, e multiplicai-vos nela.
Ye, therefore, be fruitful and multiply, swarm in the earth and multiply therein.
8 E falou Deus a Noé e a seus filhos com ele, dizendo:
And God spake unto Noah, and unto his sons with him saying:
9 Eis que eu mesmo estabeleço meu pacto convosco, e com vossa descendência depois de vós;
I, therefore, behold me! establishing my covenant with you, —and with your seed after you;
10 E com toda alma vivente que está convosco, de aves, de animais, e de toda fera da terra que está convosco; desde todos os que saíram da arca até todo animal da terra.
and with every living soul that is with you, of birds, of tame-beasts and of all wild-beasts of the earth that are with you, —of all coming forth out of the ark, even to all wild-beasts of the earth;
11 Estabelecerei meu pacto convosco, e não será mais exterminada toda carne com águas de dilúvio; nem haverá mais dilúvio para destruir a terra.
yea, I will establish my covenant with you, so that all flesh shall not be cut off any more, by reason of the waters of a flood, —neither shall there be any more a flood to destroy the earth.
12 E disse Deus: Este será o sinal do pacto que estabeleço entre mim e vós e toda alma vivente que está convosco, por tempos perpétuos:
And God said, This, is the sign of the covenant which I am granting betwixt me and you, and every living soul that is with you, —to age-abiding generations: —
13 Meu arco porei nas nuvens, o qual será por sinal de aliança entre mim e a terra.
My bow, have I set in the cloud, —and it shall be for a sign of a covenant, betwixt me and the earth;
14 E será que quando fizer vir nuvens sobre a terra, se deixará ver então meu arco nas nuvens.
and it shall be when I draw a veil of cloud over the earth, —and the bow in the cloud appeareth,
15 E me lembrarei do meu pacto, que há entre mim e vós e toda alma vivente de toda carne; e não serão mais as águas por dilúvio para destruir toda carne.
then will I remember my covenant which is betwixt me and you, and every living soul among all flesh, —that the waters may no more become a flood, to destroy all flesh:
16 E estará o arco nas nuvens, e o verei para me lembrar do pacto perpétuo entre Deus e toda alma vivente, com toda carne que há sobre a terra.
so the bow shall be in the cloud, —and I will behold it, to remember an age-abiding covenant, between God, and every living soul among all flesh that is on the earth.
17 Disse, pois, Deus a Noé: Este será o sinal do pacto que estabeleci entre mim e toda carne que está sobre a terra.
And God said unto Noah, This is the sign of the covenant which have established, between me and all flesh that is on the earth.
18 E os filhos de Noé que saíram da arca foram Sem, Cam e Jafé: e Cam é o pai de Canaã.
And the sons of Noah who came forth out of the ark, were—Shem and Ham and Japheth, —now, Ham, was the father of Canaan.
19 Estes três são os filhos de Noé; e deles foi cheia toda a terra.
These three, were the sons of Noah, —and from these, was all the earth overspread.
20 E começou Noé a lavrar a terra, e plantou uma vinha;
And Noah began to be a husbandman, —so he planted a vineyard:
21 E bebeu do vinho, e se embriagou, e estava descoberto dentro de sua tenda.
and dank of the wine and became drunk, and uncovered himself in the midst of his tent.
22 E Cam, pai de Canaã, viu a nudez de seu pai, e disse-o aos seus dois irmãos do lado de fora.
And Ham the father of Canaan saw his father’s shame, —and told his two brethren outside.
23 Então Sem e Jafé tomaram a roupa, e a puseram sobre seus próprios ombros, e andando para trás, cobriram a nudez de seu pai tendo seus rostos virados, e assim não viram a nudez de seu pai.
And Shem and Japheth took a mantle, and put it on the shoulder of them both and went backwards, and covered the shame of their father, but their faces were backwards, and the shame of their father, saw they not.
24 E despertou Noé de seu vinho, e soube o que havia feito com ele seu filho o mais jovem;
And Noah awoke from his wine, —and came to know what his youngest son had done to him.
25 E disse: Maldito seja Canaã; Servo de servos será a seus irmãos.
And he said, Accursed be Canaan, —a servant of servants, shall he be to his brethren!
26 Disse mais: Bendito o SENHOR o Deus de Sem, E seja-lhe Canaã servo.
And he said, Blessed be Yahweh, God of Shem, —And let Canaan be their servant:
27 Engrandeça Deus a Jafé, E habite nas tendas de Sem, E seja-lhe Canaã servo.
God give extension to Japheth, But make his habitation in the tents of Shem, And let Canaan be their servant.
28 E viveu Noé depois do dilúvio trezentos e cinquenta anos.
And Noah lived after the flood, —three hundred and fifty years:
29 E foram todos os dias de Noé novecentos e cinquenta anos; e morreu.
so, all the days of Noah, were—nine hundred and fifty years, —and he died.
