Gênesis 6
1 E aconteceu que, quando começaram os homens a multiplicar-se sobre a face da terra, e lhes nasceram filhas,
And whanne men bigunnen to be multiplied on erthe, and hadden gendrid douytris,
2 Vendo os filhos de Deus que as filhas dos homens eram belas, tomaram para si mulheres, escolhendo entre todas.
the sones of God seiyen the douytris of men that thei weren faire, and token wyues to hem of alle whiche thei hadden chose.
3 E disse o SENHOR: Não brigará meu espírito com o ser humano para sempre, porque certamente ele é carne: mas serão seus dias cento e vinte anos.
And God seide, My spirit schal not dwelle in man with outen ende, for he is fleisch; and the daies of hym schulen be an hundrid and twenti yeer.
4 Havia gigantes na terra naqueles dias, e também depois que entraram os filhos de Deus às filhas dos homens, e lhes geraram filhos: estes foram os valentes que desde a antiguidade foram homens de renome.

5 E o SENHOR viu que a maldade dos seres humanos era muita na terra, e que todo desígnio dos pensamentos dos seus corações era só mau continuamente.
Sotheli God seiy that myche malice of men was in erthe, and that al the thouyt of herte was ententif to yuel in al tyme,
6 E o SENHOR se arrependeu de haver feito o ser humano na terra, e pesou-lhe em seu coração.
and repentide him that he hadde maad man in erthe; and God was war bifore ayens tyme to comyng, and was touchid with sorewe of herte with ynne;
7 E disse o SENHOR: Apagarei os seres humanos que criei de sobre a face da terra, desde o ser humano até o animal, e até o réptil e as aves do céu; porque me arrependo de havê-los feito.
and seide, Y schal do awei man, whom Y made of nouyt, fro the face of the erthe, fro man til to lyuynge thingis, fro crepynge beeste til to the briddis of heuene; for it repentith me that Y made hem.
8 Porém Noé achou favor aos olhos do SENHOR.
Forsothe Noe foond grace bifore the Lord.
9 Estas são as gerações de Noé: Noé, homem justo, foi íntegro em suas gerações; Noé andava com Deus.
These ben the generaciouns of Noe. Noe was a iust man and perfit in hise generaciouns; Noe yede with God,
10 E gerou Noé três filhos: a Sem, a Cam, e a Jafé.
and gendride thre sones, Sem, Cam, and Jafeth.
11 Porém a terra se corrompeu diante de Deus, e a terra encheu-se de violência.
Forsothe the erthe was corrupt bifore God, and was fillid with wickidnes.
12 E Deus olhou a terra, e eis que estava corrompida; porque toda carne havia corrompido seu caminho sobre a terra.
And whanne God seiy, that the erthe was corrupt, for ech fleisch ether man hadde corrupt his weie on erthe,
13 E disse Deus a Noé: O fim de toda carne veio diante de mim; porque a terra está cheia de violência por causa deles; e eis que eu os destruirei com a terra.
he seide to Noe, The ende of al fleisch is comen bifore me; the erthe is fillid with wickidnesse of the face of hem, and Y schal distrye hem with the erthe.
14 Faze-te uma arca de madeira de gôfer: farás aposentos na arca e a selarás com betume por dentro e por fora.
Make thou to thee a schip of trees hewun and planed; thou schalt make dwellynge placis in the schip, and thou schalt anoynte it with pitche with ynne and with outforth.
15 E desta maneira a farás: de trezentos côvados o comprimento da arca, de cinquenta côvados sua largura, e de trinta côvados sua altura.
And so thou schalt make it. The lengthe of the schip schal be of thre hundrid cubitis, the brede schal be of fifti cubitis, and the hiynesse therof schal be of thretti cubitis.
16 Uma janela farás à arca, e a acabarás a um côvado de elevação pela parte de cima: e porás a porta da arca a seu lado; e lhe farás piso abaixo, segundo e terceiro.
Thou schalt make a wyndow in the schip, and thou schalt ende the hiynesse therof in a cubite; sotheli thou schalt sette the dore of the schip in the side binethe; thou shalt make soleris and placis of thre chaumbris in the schip.
17 E eu, eis que eu trago um dilúvio de águas sobre a terra, para destruir toda carne em que haja espírito de vida debaixo do céu; tudo o que há na terra morrerá.
Lo! Y schal brynge `watris of diluuye ether greet flood on erthe, and Y schal sle ech fleisch in which is the spirit of lijf vndir heuene, and alle thingis that ben in erthe, schulen be wastid.
18 Mas estabelecerei meu pacto contigo, e entrarás na arca tu, e teus filhos e tua mulher, e as mulheres de teus filhos contigo.
And Y schal sette my couenaunt of pees with thee; and thou schalt entre in to the schip, and thy sones, and thi wijf, and the wiues of thi sones schulen entre with thee.
19 E de tudo o que vive, de toda carne, dois de cada espécie porás na arca, para que tenham vida contigo; macho e fêmea serão.
And of alle lyuynge beestis of al fleisch thou schalt brynge in to the schip tweyne and tweyne, of male kynde and female, that thei lyue with thee;
20 Das aves segundo sua espécie, e dos animais segundo sua espécie, de todo réptil da terra segundo sua espécie, dois de cada espécie entrarão contigo para que tenham vida.
of briddis bi her kynde, and of werk beestis in her kynde, and of ech crepynge beeste of erthe, by her kynde; tweyne and tweyne of alle schulen entre with thee, that thei moun lyue.
21 E toma contigo de toda comida que se come, e traga-a a ti; servirá de alimento para ti e para eles.
Therfore thou schalt take with thee of alle metis that moun be etun, and thou schalt bere to gidre at thee, and tho schulen be as well to thee as to the beestis in to mete.
22 E o fez assim Noé; fez conforme tudo o que Deus lhe mandou.
Therfor Noe dide alle thingis whiche God comaundide to hym.
