Gênesis 20
1 De ali partiu Abraão à terra do Sul, e assentou entre Cades e Sur, e habitou como peregrino em Gerar.
And he set out from there Abraham [the] land of towards the Negev and he dwelt between Kadesh and between Shur and he sojourned in Gerar.
2 E disse Abraão de Sara sua mulher: É minha irmã. E Abimeleque, rei de Gerar, enviou e tomou a Sara.
And he said Abraham concerning Sarah wife his [is] sister my she and he sent Abimelech [the] king of Gerar and he took Sarah.
3 Porém Deus veio a Abimeleque em sonhos de noite, e lhe disse: Eis que morto és por causa da mulher que tomaste, a qual é casada com marido.
And he came God to Abimelech in a dream the night and he said to him here you [are] about to die on the woman whom you have taken and she [is] married of a husband.
4 Mas Abimeleque não havia chegado a ela, e disse: Senhor, matarás também a gente justa?
And Abimelech not he had drawn near to her and he said O Lord ¿ a nation also righteous will you kill.
5 Não me disse ele: É minha irmã; e ela também disse: É meu irmão? Com sinceridade de meu coração, e com limpeza de minhas mãos fiz isto.
¿ Not he did he say to me [is] sister my she and she also she she said [is] brother my he in [the] integrity of heart my and in [the] innocence of hands my I have done this.
6 E disse-lhe Deus em sonhos: Eu também sei que com integridade de teu coração fizeste isto; e eu também te detive de pecar contra mim, e assim não te permiti que a tocasses.
And he said to him God in a dream also I I know that in [the] integrity of heart your you did this and I have restrained also I you from sinning to me there-fore not I have permitted you to touch her.
7 Agora, pois, devolve a mulher a seu marido; porque é profeta, e orará por ti, e viverás. E se tu não a devolveres, sabe que certamente morrerás, com tudo o que for teu.
And therefore return [the] wife of the man for [is] a prophet he so he may pray for you and live and if not [are] you returning [her] know that certainly you will die you and all who [belong] to you.
8 Então Abimeleque se levantou de manhã, e chamou a todos os seus servos, e disse todas estas palavras aos ouvidos deles; e temeram os homens em grande maneira.
And he rose early Abimelech in the morning and he summoned all servants his and he spoke all the words these in ears their and they were afraid the men exceedingly.
9 Depois chamou Abimeleque a Abraão e lhe disse: Que nos fizeste? e em que pequei eu contra ti, que atraíste sobre mim e sobre meu reino tão grande pecado? o que não devias fazer fizeste comigo.
And he summoned Abimelech Abraham and he said to him what? have you done to us and what? have I sinned to you for you have brought on me and on kingdom my a sin great deeds which not they will be done you have done with me.
10 E disse mais Abimeleque a Abraão: Que viste para que fizesses isto?
And he said Abimelech to Abraham what? did you see that you have done the thing this.
11 E Abraão respondeu: Porque disse para mim: Certamente não há temor de Deus neste lugar, e me matarão por causa de minha mulher.
And he said Abraham that I said certainly there not [is] [the] fear of God in the place this and they will kill me on [the] matter of wife my.
12 E na verdade também é minha irmã, filha de meu pai, mas não filha de minha mãe, e tomei-a por mulher.
And also truly [is] sister my [the] daughter of father my she only not [the] daughter of mother my and she became of me a wife.
13 E foi que, quando Deus me fez sair sem rumo da casa de meu pai, eu lhe disse: Esta é a lealdade que tu me farás, que em todos os lugares onde chegarmos, digas de mim: É meu irmão.
And it was just as they caused to wander me God from [the] household of father my and I said to her this [is] loyalty your which you will do with me to every place where we will go there towards say of me [is] brother my he.
14 Então Abimeleque tomou ovelhas e vacas, e servos e servas, e deu-o a Abraão, e devolveu-lhe a Sara sua mulher.
And he took Abimelech sheep and cattle and [male] servants and female servants and he gave [them] to Abraham and he restored to him Sarah wife his.
15 E disse Abimeleque: Eis que minha terra está diante de ti, habita onde bem te parecer.
And he said Abimelech there! land my [is] before you in the [place] good in view your dwell.
16 E a Sara disse: Eis que dei mil moedas de prata a teu irmão; olha que ele te é por véu de olhos para todos os que estão contigo, e para com todos: assim foi repreendida.
And to Sarah he said here! I give a thousand silver to brother your there! it for you [is] a covering of eyes to all who [are] with you and with everyone [you are] vindicated.
17 Então Abraão orou a Deus; e Deus sanou a Abimeleque e a sua mulher, e a suas servas, e voltaram a ter filhos.
And he prayed Abraham to God and he healed God Abimelech and wife his and female slaves his and they bore children.
18 Porque havia por completo fechado o SENHOR toda madre da casa de Abimeleque, por causa de Sara, mulher de Abraão.
For certainly had shut up Yahweh behind every womb of [the] household of Abimelech on [the] matter of Sarah [the] wife of Abraham.
