1 Estes são os filhos da província que subiram do cativeiro, dos transportados que Nabucodonosor, rei de Babilônia, tinha transportado para a Babilônia, e que voltaram a Jerusalém e a Judá, cada um para sua cidade;
Now these are the children of the province that went up from the captivity, of those who had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away to Babylon, and came again to Jerusalem and Judah, every one to his city;
2 Os quais vieram com Zorobabel, Jesua, Neemias, Seraías, Reelaías, Mardoqueu, Bilsã, Mispar, Bigvai, Reum e Baaná. O registro dos homens do povo de Israel:

3 Os filhos de Parós, dois mil cento e setenta e dois;

4 Os filhos de Sefatias, trezentos e setenta e dois;
The children of Shephatiah, three hundred and seventy and two.
5 Os filhos de Ara, setecentos e setenta e cinco;
The children of Arah, seven hundred and seventy and five.
6 Os filhos de Paate-Moabe, dos descendentes de Jesua e Joabe, dois mil oitocentos e doze;
The children of Pahathmoab, of the children of Jeshua and Joab, two thousand eight hundred and twelve.
7 Os filhos de Elão, mil duzentos e cinquenta e quatro;
The children of Elam, a thousand two hundred and fifty and four.

The children of Ramah and Gaba, six hundred and twenty and one.
27 Os homens de Micmás, cento e vinte e dois;
The men of Michmas, an hundred and twenty and two.
28 Os homens de Betel e Ai, duzentos e vinte e três;
The men of Bethel and Ai, two hundred and twenty and three.
29 Os filhos de Nebo, cinquenta e dois;
The children of Nebo, fifty and two.
30 Os filhos de Magbis, cento e cinquenta e seis;
The children of Magbish, an hundred and fifty and six.
31 Os filhos do outro Elão, mil duzentos e cinquenta e quatro;
The children of the other Elam, a thousand two hundred and fifty and four.
32 Os filhos de Harim, trezentos e vinte;
The children of Harim, three hundred and twenty.
33 Os filhos de Lode, Hadide, e Ono, setecentos e vinte e cinco;

35 Os filhos de Senaá, três mil seiscentos e trinta;
The children of Senaah, three thousand six hundred and thirty.
36 Os sacerdotes: os filhos de Jedaías, da casa de Jesua, novecentos e setenta e três;
The priests: the children of Jedaiah, of the house of Jeshua, nine hundred and seventy and three.
37 Os filhos de Imer, mil e cinquenta e dois;
The children of Immer, a thousand and fifty and two.
38 Os filhos de Pasur, mil duzentos e quarenta e sete;
The children of Pashur, a thousand two hundred and forty and seven.
39 Os filhos de Harim, mil e dezessete.

40 Os Levitas: os filhos de Jesua e de Cadmiel, dos filhos de Hodavias, setenta e quatro.

The children of Rezin, the children of Nekoda, the children of Gazzam,
49 Os filhos de Uzá, os filhos de Paseia, os filhos de Besai;
The children of Uzza, the children of Paseah, the children of Besai,
50 Os filhos de Asná, os filhos de Meunim, os filhos de Nefusim;

The children of Bazluth, the children of Mehida, the children of Harsha,
53 Os filhos de Barcos, os filhos de Sísera, os filhos de Temá;
The children of Barkos, the children of Sisera, the children of Thamah,
54 Os filhos de Nesias, os filhos de Hatifa.
The children of Neziah, the children of Hatipha.
55 Os filhos dos servos de Salomão: os filhos de Sotai, os filhos de Soferete, os filhos de Peruda;
The children of Solomon’s servants: the children of Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Peruda,
56 Os filhos de Jaala, o filhos de Darcom, os filhos de Gidel;
The children of Jaalah, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel,
57 Os filhos de Sefatias, os filhos de Hatil, os filhos de Poquerete-Hazebaim, os filhos de Ami.
The children of Shephatiah, the children of Hattil, the children of Pochereth of Zebaim, the children of Ami.
58 Todos os servos do templo, e filhos dos servos de Salomão, trezentos e noventa e dois.
All the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon’s servants, were three hundred and ninety and two.
59 Também estes subiram de Tel-Melá, Tel-Harsa, Querube, Adã, e Imer, porém não puderam mostrar a família de seus pais, nem sua linhagem, se eram de Israel:
And these were they who went up from Telmelah, Telharsa, Cherub, Addan, and Immer: but they could not show their father’s house, and their seed, whether they were of Israel:
60 Os filhos de Delaías, os filhos de Tobias, os filhos de Necoda, seiscentos e cinquenta e dois.
The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred and fifty and two.
61 E dos filhos dos sacerdotes: os filhos de Habaías, os filhos de Coz, os filhos de Barzilai, o qual tomou mulher das filhas de Barzilai gileadita, e foi chamado pelo nome delas.
And of the children of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai; who took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name:
62 Estes buscaram seu registro de genealogias, mas não foi achado; por isso foram rejeitados do sacerdócio.
These sought their family record among those that were reckoned by genealogy, but they were not found: therefore were they, as polluted, put from the priesthood.
63 E o governador lhes mandou que não comessem das coisas sagradas, até que houvesse sacerdote com Urim e Tumim.
And the Tirshatha said to them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and with Thummim.
64 Toda esta congregação junta foi quarenta e dois mil trezentos e sessenta,
The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and sixty,
65 Sem seus servos e servas, os quais foram sete mil trezentos trinta e sete; também tinham duzentos cantores e cantoras.
Besides their male and female servants, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred and thirty and seven: and there were among them two hundred men and women singers.
66 Seus cavalos foram setecentos e trinta e seis; seus mulos, duzentos e quarenta e cinco;
Their horses were seven hundred and thirty and six; their mules, two hundred and forty and five;
67 Seus camelos, quatrocentos trinta e cinco; asnos, seis mil setecentos e vinte.
Their camels, four hundred and thirty and five; their donkeys, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
68 E [alguns] dos chefes de famílias, quando vieram à casa do SENHOR que estava em Jerusalém, deram ofertas voluntárias para a casa de Deus, para [a] reconstruírem em seu lugar.
And some of the heads of the fathers’ houses, when they came to the house of the LORD which is at Jerusalem, offered freely for the house of God to set it up in its place:
69 Conforme sua capacidade deram ao tesouro da obra sessenta e uma mil dracmas de ouro, cinco mil libras de prata, e cem vestes sacerdotais.
They gave after their ability into the treasury of the work sixty and one thousand drams of gold, and five thousand pounds of silver, and one hundred priests’ garments.
70 E os sacerdotes, os Levitas, os do povo, os cantores, os porteiros e os servos do templo, habitaram em suas cidades; como também todo Israel em suas cidades.
So the priests, and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims, dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
