Ezequiel 4

1 E tu, filho do homem, toma para ti um tijolo, põe-o diante de ti, e desenha sobre ele a cidade de Jerusalém;

Thou also, son of man, take thee a tile, and lay it before thee, and trace upon it a city, even Jerusalem;

2 E põe um cerco contra ela, e edifica contra ela uma fortaleza, e levanta uma rampa contra ela; e põe acampamentos contra ela, e ordena contra ela aríetes ao redor.

and lay siege against it, and build forts against it, and cast up a mound against it; set camps also against it, and set battering rams against it round about.

3 E tu, toma para ti uma assadeira de ferro, e põe-a como muro de ferro entre ti e a cidade; e endireita tua face contra ela, e assim será cercada, e a cercarás. Isto será um sinal para a casa de Israel.

And take thou unto thee an iron griddle, and set it for a wall of iron between thee and the city; and set thy face toward it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.

4 E tu deita sobre teu lado esquerdo, e põe sobre ele a maldade da casa de Israel; [conforme] o número de dias que deitares sobre ele, levarás suas maldades.

Moreover lie thou upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it; according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it, thou shalt bear their iniquity.

5 Pois eu te dei os anos da maldade deles conforme o número de dias: trezentos e noventa dias; e tu levarás a maldade da casa de Israel.

For I have appointed the years of their iniquity to be unto thee a number of days, even three hundred and ninety days; so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.

6 E quando completardes estes, voltarás a deitar sobre teu lado direito, e levarás a maldade da casa de Judá por quarenta dias; dei para ti um dia para cada ano.

And again, when thou hast accomplished these, thou shalt lie on thy right side, and shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah; forty days, each day for a year, have I appointed it unto thee.

7 Portanto dirigirás teu rosto ao cerco de Jerusalém firmarás teu rosto, e [manterás] teu braço descoberto; e profetizarás contra ela.

And thou shalt set thy face toward the siege of Jerusalem, with thine arm uncovered; and thou shalt prophesy against it.

8 E eis que porei sobre ti cordas, e não te virarás de teu lado ao para o outro, enquanto não houveres completado os dias de teu cerco.

And, behold, I lay bands upon thee, and thou shalt not turn thee from one side to another, till thou hast accomplished the days of thy siege.

9 E tu, toma para ti trigo, cevada, favas, lentilhas, milho miúdo, e aveia, e põe-os em uma vasilha, e faz para ti pão deles, [conforme] o número de dias que dormires sobre teu lado; trezentos e noventa dias comerás disso.

Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentils, and millet, and spelt, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof; according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, even three hundred and ninety days, shalt thou eat thereof.

10 E a comida que comerás será do peso de vinte siclos cada dia; de tempo em tempo a comerás.

And thy food which thou shalt eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day; from time to time shalt thou eat it.

11 Também beberás a água por medida: a sexta parte de um him; de tempo em tempo beberás.

Thou shalt drink also water by measure, the sixth part of a hin; from time to time shalt thou drink.

12 E a comerás como [se fosse] pão de cevada; e a cozerás com as fezes que saem do homem, diante dos olhos deles.

And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it in their sight with dung that cometh out of man.'

13 E disse o SENHOR: Assim os filhos de Israel comerão seu pão imundo entre as nações, para onde eu os lançarei.

And the LORD said: 'Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their bread unclean, among the nations whither I will drive them.'

14 Então eu disse: Ah Senhor DEUS! Eis que minha alma não foi contaminada; porque nunca comi coisa morta nem despedaçada, desde minha juventude até agora, nem nunca entrou em minha boca carne imunda.

Then said I: 'Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been polluted; for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn of beasts; neither came there abhorred flesh into my mouth.'

15 E ele me disse: Eis que te dou fezes de vacas em lugar dos fezes humanas; e prepararás teu pão com elas.

Then He said unto me: 'See, I have given thee cow's dung for man's dung, and thou shalt prepare thy bread thereon.'

16 Então me disse: Filho do homem, eis que destruirei o sustento do pão em Jerusalém, e comerão o pão por peso, e com angústia; e beberão a água por medida, e com espanto.

Moreover He said unto me: 'Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem, and they shall eat bread by weight, and with anxiety; and they shall drink water by measure, and in appalment;

17 Para que lhes falte o pão e o água, e se espantem uns aos outros, e se consumam em suas maldades.

that they may want bread and water, and be appalled one with another, and pine away in their iniquity.
