Ezequiel 28
1 E veio a mim a palavra do SENHOR, dizendo:
The word of the LORD came again to me, saying,
2 Filho do homem, dize ao príncipe de Tiro: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Dado que teu coração se exalta, e dizes: Eu sou um deus; no trono de de Deus me sento no meio dos mares (sendo tu homem e não Deus); e consideras teu coração como coração de Deus;
Son of man, say to the prince of Tyre, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thy heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou settest thy heart as the heart of God:
3 (Eis que tu és mais sábio que Daniel; não há segredo algum que possa se esconder de ti;
Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee:
4 Com tua sabedoria e teu entendimento obtiveste riquezas, e adquiriste ouro e prata em teus tesouros;
With thy wisdom and with thy understanding thou hast gained for thee riches, and hast gained gold and silver into thy treasuries:
5 Com a tua grande sabedoria aumentaste tuas riquezas em teu comércio; e por causa de tuas riquezas teu coração tem se exaltado).
By thy great wisdom and by thy merchandise hast thou increased thy riches, and thy heart is lifted up because of thy riches:
6 Portanto assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Dado que consideras teu coração como coração [se fosse] de Deus,
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thy heart as the heart of God;
7 Por isso eis que eu trarei sobre ti estrangeiros, os mais violentos das nações, os quais desembainharão suas espadas contra a beleza de tua sabedoria, e contaminarão o teu resplendor.
Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.
8 À cova te farão descer, e morrerás da morte dos que morrem no meio dos mares.
They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.
9 Por acaso dirás: Eu sou Deus, diante de teu matador? Tu és homem, e não Deus, nas mãos de quem te matar.
Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.
10 De morte de incircuncisos morrerás, pela mão de estrangeiros; porque [assim] eu falei, diz o Senhor DEUS.
Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
11 E veio a mim a palavra do SENHOR, dizendo:
Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
12 Filho do homem, levanta uma lamentação sobre o rei de Tiro, e dize-lhe: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Tu eras o carimbo da perfeição, cheio de sabedoria, e perfeito em formosura.
Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyre, and say to him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
13 Estiveste no Éden, o jardim de Deus; toda pedra preciosa era tua cobertura; sárdio, topázio, diamante, turquesa, ônix, jaspe, safira, carbúnculo, e esmeralda; e [de] ouro era a obra de tuas molduras e de teus engastes em ti; no dia em que foste criado estavam preparados.
Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
14 Tu eras querubim ungido, cobridor; e eu te estabeleci, no santo monte de Deus estavas; no meio de pedras de fogo tu andavas.
Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15 Íntegro eras em teus caminhos, desde o dia em que foste criado, até que se achou maldade em ti.
Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
16 Pela abundância de teu comércio encheram o meio de ti de violência; por isso eu te expulsei como profanado do monte de Deus, e te farei perecer, ó querubim cobridor, do meio das pedras de fogo.
By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
17 Teu coração se exaltou por causa de tua formosura, corrompeste tua sabedoria por causa de teu resplendor; eu te lancei por terra; diante dos reis eu te pus, para que olhem para ti.
Thy heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
18 Por causa da multidão de tuas maldades e da perversidade de teu comércio, profanaste teus santuários; por isso eu fiz sair um fogo do meio de ti, o qual te consumiu; e te tornei em cinza sobre a terra, diante dos olhos de todos quantos te veem.
Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thy iniquities, by the iniquity of thy merchandise; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
19 Todos os que te conhecem entre os povos estão espantados por causa de ti; em grande horror te tornaste, e nunca mais voltarás a existir.
All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.
20 E veio a mim a palavra do SENHOR, dizendo:
Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
21 Filho do homem, dirige teu rosto contra Sidom, e profetiza contra ela;
Son of man, set thy face against Zidon, and prophesy against it,
22 E dize: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eis que eu sou contra ti, ó Sidom, e serei glorificado no meio de ti; e saberão que eu sou o SENHOR, quando nela fizer juízos, e nela me santificar.
And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Zidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.
23 Pois enviarei a ela pestilência e sangue em suas ruas; e mortos cairão no meio dela pela espada que está contra ela ao redor; e saberão que eu sou o SENHOR.
For I will send into her pestilence, and blood into her streets; and the wounded shall be judged in the midst of her by the sword upon her on every side; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
24 E a casa de Israel nunca mais terá espinho que a fira, nem abrolho que cause dor, de todos os que desprezam ao redor deles; e saberão que eu sou o Senhor DEUS.
And there shall be no more a pricking brier to the house of Israel, nor any grieving thorn of all that are around them, that despised them; and they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
25 Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Quando eu ajuntar a casa de Israel dos povos entre os quais estão dispersos, e eu me santificar entre eles diante dos olhos das nações, então habitarão em sua terra, que dei a meu servo Jacó.
Thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob.
26 E habitarão nela em segurança, edificarão casas, e plantarão vinhas; e habitarão em segurança, quando eu fizer juízos contra todos os que os desprezam ao redor deles; e saberão que eu sou o SENHOR, o Deus deles.
And they shall dwell safely in it, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them around them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God.
