Êxodo 40
1 E o SENHOR falou a Moisés, dizendo:
And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
2 No primeiro dia do mês primeiro farás levantar o tabernáculo, o tabernáculo do testemunho:
On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
3 E porás nele a arca do testemunho, e a cobrirás com o véu:
And thou shalt put in it the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with the vail.
4 E meterás a mesa, e a porás em ordem: meterás também o candelabro e acenderás suas lâmpadas:
And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light its lamps.
5 E porás o altar de ouro para o incenso diante da arca do testemunho, e porás a cortina diante da porta do tabernáculo.
And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle.
6 Depois porás o altar do holocausto diante da porta do tabernáculo, do tabernáculo do testemunho.
And thou shalt set the altar of the, burnt-offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
7 Logo porás a pia entre o tabernáculo do testemunho e o altar; e porás água nela.
And thou shalt set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and shalt put water in it.
8 Finalmente porás o átrio em derredor, e a cortina da porta do átrio.
And thou shalt set up the court round about, and hang up the hanging at the court-gate.
9 E tomarás o azeite da unção e ungirás o tabernáculo, e tudo o que está nele; e lhe santificarás com todos os seus utensílios, e será santo.
And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that [is] in it, and shalt hallow it, and all its vessels: and it shall be holy.
10 Ungirás também o altar do holocausto e todos os seus utensílios: e santificarás o altar, e será um altar santíssimo.
And thou shalt anoint the altar of the burnt-offering and all its vessels, and sanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar most holy.
11 Também ungirás a pia e sua base, e a santificarás.
And thou shalt anoint the laver and its foot, and sanctify it.
12 E farás chegar a Arão e a seus filhos à porta do tabernáculo do testemunho, e os lavarás com água.
And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.
13 E farás vestir a Arão as vestimentas sagradas, e o ungirás, e o consagrarás, para que seja meu sacerdote.
And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister to me in the priest's office.
14 Depois farás chegar seus filhos, e lhes vestirás as túnicas:
And thou shalt bring his sons, and clothe them with coats:
15 E os ungirás como ungiste a seu pai, e serão meus sacerdotes: e será que sua unção lhes servirá por sacerdócio perpétuo por suas gerações.
And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister to me in the priest's office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.
16 E Moisés fez conforme tudo o que o SENHOR lhe mandou; assim o fez.
Thus did Moses; according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he.
17 E assim no dia primeiro do primeiro mês, no segundo ano, o tabernáculo foi erigido.
And it came to pass in the first month, in the second year, on the first [day] of the month, [that] the tabernacle was reared up.
18 E Moisés fez levantar o tabernáculo, e assentou suas bases, e colocou suas tábuas, e pôs suas barras, e fez erguer suas colunas.
And Moses reared up the tabernacle, and fastened its sockets, and set up its boards, and put in its bars, and reared up its pillars.
19 E estendeu a tenda sobre o tabernáculo, e pôs a cobertura encima do mesmo; como o SENHOR havia mandado a Moisés.
And he spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above upon it; as the LORD commanded Moses.
20 E tomou e pôs o testemunho dentro da arca, e colocou as varas na arca, e encima o propiciatório sobre a arca:
And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staffs on the ark, and put the mercy-seat above upon the ark:
21 E meteu a arca no tabernáculo, e pôs o véu da tenda, e cobriu a arca do testemunho; como o SENHOR havia mandado a Moisés.
And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the vail of the covering, and covered the ark of the testimony; as the LORD commanded Moses.
22 E pôs a mesa no tabernáculo do testemunho, ao lado norte da cortina, fora do véu:
And he put the table in the tent of the congregation, upon the side of the tabernacle northward, without the vail.
23 E sobre ela pôs por ordem os pães diante do SENHOR, como o SENHOR havia mandado a Moisés.
And he set the bread in order upon it before the LORD; as the LORD had commanded Moses.
24 E pôs o candelabro no tabernáculo do testemunho, em frente da mesa, ao lado sul da cortina.
And he put the candlestick in the tent of the congregation, over against the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.
25 E acendeu as lâmpadas diante do SENHOR; como o SENHOR havia mandado a Moisés.
And he lighted the lamps before the LORD, as the LORD commanded Moses.
26 Pôs também o altar de ouro no tabernáculo do testemunho, diante do véu:
And he put the golden altar in the tent of the congregation, before the vail:
27 E acendeu sobre ele o incenso aromático; como o SENHOR havia mandado a Moisés.
And he burnt sweet incense on it; as the LORD commanded Moses.
28 Pôs também a cortina da porta do tabernáculo.
And he set up the hanging [at] the door of the tabernacle.
29 E colocou o altar do holocausto à porta do tabernáculo, do tabernáculo do testemunho; e ofereceu sobre ele holocausto e oferta de cereais; como o SENHOR havia mandado a Moisés.
And he put the altar of burnt-offering [by] the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt-offering, and the meat-offering; as the LORD commanded Moses.
30 E pôs a pia entre o tabernáculo do testemunho e o altar; e pôs nela água para lavar.
And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, to wash [with].
31 E Moisés e Arão e seus filhos lavavam nela suas mãos e seus pés.
And Moses, and Aaron, and his sons, washed their hands and their feet thereat:
32 Quando entravam no tabernáculo do testemunho, e quando se traziam ao altar, se lavavam; como o SENHOR havia mandado a Moisés.
When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near to the altar, they washed; as the LORD commanded Moses.
33 Finalmente erigiu o átrio em derredor do tabernáculo e do altar, e pôs a cortina da porta do átrio. E assim acabou Moisés a obra.
And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court-gate: so Moses finished the work.
34 Então uma nuvem cobriu o tabernáculo do testemunho, e a glória do SENHOR encheu o tabernáculo.
Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
35 E não podia Moisés entrar no tabernáculo do testemunho, porque a nuvem estava sobre ele, e a glória do SENHOR o tinha enchido.
And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode upon it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
36 E quando a nuvem se erguia do tabernáculo, os filhos de Israel se moviam em todas suas jornadas:
And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys:
37 Porém se a nuvem não se erguia, não se partiam até o dia em que ela se erguia.
But if the cloud was not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.
38 Porque a nuvem do SENHOR estava de dia sobre o tabernáculo, e o fogo estava de noite nele, à vista de toda a casa de Israel, em todas as suas jornadas.
For the cloud of the LORD [was] upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
