Êxodo 13
1 E o SENHOR falou a Moisés, dizendo:
Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,
2 Santifica para mim todo primogênito, qualquer um que abre madre entre os filhos de Israel, tanto dos homens como dos animais: meu é.
“Sanctify to me all the firstborn, whatever opens the womb among the children of Israel [God prevails], both of man and of animal. It is mine.”
3 E Moisés disse ao povo: Tende memória deste dia, no qual saístes do Egito, da casa de servidão; pois o SENHOR vos tirou daqui com mão forte; portanto, não comereis levedado.
Moses [Drawn out] said to the people, “Remember this day, in which you came out of Egypt [Abode of slavery], out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand Adonai brought you out from this place. No leavened bread shall be eaten.
4 Vós saís hoje no mês de Abibe.
Today you go out in the first month Aviv ·Ripening grain (of a new crop), 1·.
5 E quando o SENHOR te houver posto na terra dos cananeus, e dos heteus, e dos amorreus, e dos heveus, e dos jebuseus, a qual jurou a teus pais que te daria, terra que destila leite e mel, farás este serviço em este mês.
It shall be, when Adonai shall bring you into the land of the Canaanite [Descendant of Humbled], and the Hittite [Descendant of Trembling fear], and the Amorite [Descendants of Talkers], and the Hivite [Wicked], and the Jebusite [Descendants of Thresher], which he swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, that you shall keep this aboda ·service· in this month.
6 Sete dias comerás sem levedar, e o sétimo dia será festa ao SENHOR.
Seven days you shall eat matzah ·unleavened bread·, and in the seventh day shall be a feast to Adonai.”
7 Por os sete dias se comerão os pães sem levedura; e não se verá contigo levedado, nem levedura ao todo teu termo.
Unleavened bread shall be eaten throughout the seven days; and no leavened bread shall be seen with you. No yeast shall be seen with you, within all your borders.
8 E contarás naquele dia a teu filho, dizendo: Isto se faz por causa do que o SENHOR fez comigo quando me tirou do Egito.
You shall tell your son in that day, saying, “It is because of that which Adonai did for me when I came out of Egypt [Abode of slavery].”
9 E será para ti como um sinal sobre tua mão, e como uma memória diante de teus olhos, para que a lei do SENHOR esteja na tua boca; pois com mão forte te tirou o SENHOR do Egito.
It shall be for a sign to you on your hand, and for a memorial between your eyes, that Adonai’s Torah ·Teaching· may be in your mouth; for with a strong hand Adonai has brought you out of Egypt [Abode of slavery].
10 Portanto, tu guardarás este rito em seu tempo de ano em ano.
You shall therefore keep this regulation in its season from year to year.
11 E quando o SENHOR te houver posto na terra dos cananeus, como jurou a ti e a teus pais, e quando te a houver dado,
“It shall be, when Adonai shall bring you into the land of the Canaanite [Descendant of Humbled], as he swore to you and to your fathers, and shall give it you,
12 Farás passar ao SENHOR todo o que abrir a madre, também todo primeiro que abrir a madre de teus animais: os machos serão do SENHOR.
that you shall set apart to Adonai all that opens the womb, and every firstborn which you have that comes from an animal. The males shall be Adonai’s.
13 Mas todo primogênito de asno resgatarás com um cordeiro; e se não o resgatares, o degolarás: também resgatarás todo homem primogênito de teus filhos.
Every firstborn of a donkey you shall redeem with a lamb; and if you will not redeem it, then you shall break its neck; and you shall redeem all the firstborn of man among your sons.
14 E quando amanhã te perguntar teu filho, dizendo: Que é isto? Tu lhe dirás: o SENHOR tirou com mão forte do Egito, de casa de servidão;
It shall be, when your son asks you in time to come, saying, ‘What is this?’ that you shall tell him, ‘By strength of hand Adonai brought us out from Egypt [Abode of slavery], from the house of bondage.
15 E endurecendo-se Faraó em não nos deixar ir, o SENHOR matou na terra do Egito a todo primogênito, desde o primogênito homem até o primogênito do animal; e por esta causa eu sacrifico ao SENHOR todo primogênito macho, e resgato todo primogênito de meus filhos.
When Pharaoh stubbornly refused to let us go, Adonai killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery], both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of animal. Therefore I sacrifice to Adonai all that opens the womb, being males; but all the firstborn of my sons I redeem.’
16 Será para ti, pois, como um sinal sobre tua mão, e por uma memória diante de teus olhos; já que o SENHOR tirou do Egito com mão forte.
It shall be for a sign on your hand, and for symbols between your eyes: for by strength of hand Adonai brought us out of Egypt [Abode of slavery].”
17 E logo que Faraó deixou ir ao povo, Deus não os levou pelo caminho da terra dos filisteus, que estava próxima; porque disse Deus: Que talvez não se arrependa o povo quando virem a guerra, e se voltem ao Egito:
When Pharaoh had let the people go, God didn’t lead them by the way of the land of the Philistines [To roll in dust (As an insult)], although that was near; for God said, “Lest perhaps the people change their minds when they see war, and they teshuvah ·completely return· to Egypt [Abode of slavery];”
18 Mas fez Deus ao povo que rodeasse pelo caminho do deserto do mar Vermelho. E subiram os filhos de Israel do Egito armados.
but God led the people around by the way of the wilderness by the Sea of Suf [Reed Sea]; and the children of Israel [God prevails] went up armed out of the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery].
19 Tomou também consigo Moisés os ossos de José, o qual havia juramentado aos filhos de Israel, dizendo: Deus certamente vos visitará, e fareis subir meus ossos daqui convosco.
Moses [Drawn out] took the bones of Joseph [May he add] with him, for he had made the children of Israel [God prevails] swear, saying, “God will surely visit you, and you shall carry up my bones away from here with you.”
20 E partidos de Sucote, assentaram acampamento em Etã, à entrada do deserto.
They took their journey from Sukkot, and encamped in Etham, in the edge of the wilderness.
21 E o SENHOR ia diante deles de dia em uma coluna de nuvem, para guiá-los pelo caminho; e de noite em uma coluna de fogo para iluminá-los, a fim de que andassem de dia e de noite.
Adonai went before them by day in a pillar of cloud, to lead them on their way, and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light, that they might go by day and by night:
22 Nunca se partiu de diante do povo a coluna de nuvem de dia, nem de noite a coluna de fogo.
the pillar of cloud by day, and the pillar of fire by night, didn’t depart from before the people.
