2 Timóteo 4
1 Convoco-te diante de Deus e de Cristo Jesus, que irá julgar os vivos e os mortos, e pela sua aparição e seu reino:
I command you therefore before God and Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his Kingdom:
2 prega a palavra; insiste em tempo e fora de tempo; mostra os erros; repreende [e] exorta, com toda paciência e ensino.
preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with all patience and teaching.
3 Pois virá tempo em que não suportarão a sã doutrina; em vez disso, terão comichão no ouvido e amontoarão para si instrutores conforme os seus próprios desejos maus;
For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but, having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts;
4 desviarão os ouvidos da verdade, e se voltarão aos mitos.
and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside to myths.
5 Tu, porém, vigia-te em todas as coisas; suporta as aflições, faz a obra de evangelista, cumpre o teu serviço.
But you be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
6 Pois já sou uma oferta de derramamento, e o tempo da minha partida está perto.
For I am already being offered, and the time of my departure has come.
7 Lutei a boa luta, terminei a carreira, guardei a fé.
I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith.
8 Desde agora a coroa da justiça me está reservada, a qual o Senhor, o justo Juiz, me dará naquele dia; e não somente a mim, mas também a todos os que amarem a sua vinda.
From now on, there is stored up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give to me on that day; and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved his appearing.
9 Procura vir logo até mim,
Be diligent to come to me soon,
10 porque Demas me desamparou: ele amou o tempo presente, e partiu para Tessalônica; Crescente para a Galácia, e Tito para a Dalmácia. (aiōn g165)
for Demas left me, having loved this present world, and went to Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia. (aiōn g165)
11 Só Lucas está comigo. Toma Marcos, e o traz contigo, porque ele me é muito útil para o serviço.
Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with you, for he is useful to me for service.
12 Enviei Tíquico a Éfeso.
But I sent Tychicus to Ephesus.
13 Quando vieres, traz a capa que deixei em Trôade na casa de Carpo, e os livros, principalmente os pergaminhos.
Bring the cloak that I left at Troas with Carpus when you come, and the books, especially the parchments.
14 Alexandre, o que trabalha com cobre, me causou muitos males; o Senhor retribuirá a ele conforme suas obras.
Alexander, the coppersmith, did much evil to me. The Lord will repay him according to his works,
15 Toma cuidado com ele também, porque ele se opôs muito às nossas palavras.
of whom you also must beware; for he greatly opposed our words.
16 Na minha primeira defesa ninguém esteve comigo para me ajudar, pelo contrário, todos me desampararam. Que isso não seja levado em consideração contra eles.
At my first defense, no one came to help me, but all left me. May it not be held against them.
17 Mas o Senhor me ajudou e me fortaleceu, a fim de que por mim a pregação fosse completamente divulgada, e todos os gentios [a] ouvissem; e fui livrado da boca do leão.
But the Lord stood by me, and strengthened me, that through me the message might be fully proclaimed, and that all the non-Jewish people might hear; and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
18 O Senhor me livrará de toda obra má, e me preservará para o seu reino celestial. A ele [seja] glória para todo o sempre. Amém. (aiōn g165)
And the Lord will deliver me from every evil deed, and will bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)

20 Erasto ficou em Corinto, e deixei Trófimo doente em Mileto.
Erastus remained at Corinth, and I left Trophimus at Miletus, ill.
21 Procura vir antes do inverno. Êubulo, Pudente, Lino, Cláudia e todos os irmãos te cumprimentam.
Be diligent to come before winter. Eubulus salutes you, as do Pudens, Linus, Claudia, and all the brothers.
22 O Senhor seja com o teu espírito. A graça seja convosco.
The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you.
