2 Samuel 22
1 E falou Davi ao SENHOR as palavras deste cântico, o dia que o SENHOR o livrou da mão de todos os seus inimigos e da mão de Saul.
And David spake unto Yahweh, the words of this song, in the day when Yahweh had rescued him, out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul;
2 E disse: O SENHOR é minha rocha, e minha fortaleza, e meu libertador;
and he said, —Yahweh, was my mountain crag and my stronghold, and my deliverer—mine;
3 Deus de minha rocha, nele confiarei: Meu escudo, e o poder de minha salvação, minha fortaleza, e meu refúgio; Meu salvador, que me livrarás de violência.
My God, was my rock, I sought refuge in him, —My shield, and my horn of salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, My Saviour! from violence, thou didst save me.
4 Invocarei ao SENHOR, digno de ser louvado. E serei salvo de meus inimigos.
As one worthy to be praised, called I on Yahweh, —And, from my foes, was I saved.
5 Quando me cercaram ondas de morte, E ribeiros de iniquidade me assombraram,
When the breakers of death had encompassed me, —the torrents of perdition, made me afraid, —
the meshes of hades, had surrounded me, —the snares of death had confronted me, (Sheol h7585)
7 Tive angústia, invoquei ao SENHOR, E clamei a meu Deus: E ele ouviu minha voz desde seu templo; Chegou meu clamor a seus ouvidos.
In my distress, called I on Yahweh, Yea, unto my God, did I call, —and he hearkened, out of his temple, unto my voice, and, my cry for help, was in his ears!
8 A terra se moveu, e tremeu; Os fundamentos dos céus foram movidos, E se estremeceram, porque ele se irou.
Then did the earth shake and quake, the foundations of the heavens, were deeply moved, —yea they did shake, because he was angry,
9 Subiu fumaça de suas narinas, E de sua boca fogo consumidor, Pelo qual se acenderam carvões.
There went up a smoke in his nostrils, and, a fire out of his mouth, devoured, —live coals, were kindled from it:
10 E abaixo os céus, e desceu: Uma escuridão debaixo de seus pés.
Then he stretched out the heavens, and came down, —and, thick gloom, was under his feet;
11 Subiu sobre o querubim, e voou: Apareceu-se sobre as asas do vento.
Then he rode on a cherub, and flew, —and was seen on the wings of the wind;
12 Armou tendas de escuridão ao redor de si; nuvens negras e espessas, carregadas de águas.
And made of the darkness around him, pavilions, —gathering of waters, clouds of vapours.
13 Do resplendor de sua presença Se acenderam brasas ardentes.
Out of the brightness before him, were kindled live coals of fire;
14 O SENHOR trovejou desde os céus, E o Altíssimo deu sua voz;
Thunder from the heavens, did Yahweh give forth, —yea, the Highest, uttered his voice;
15 Lançou flechas, e desbaratou-os; Relampejou, e consumiu-os.
And he sent forth arrows, and scattered them, —lightning, and confused them;
16 Então apareceram as profundezas do mar, E os fundamentos do mundo foram descobertos, À repreensão do SENHOR, Ao sopro do vento de seu nariz.
Then appeared the channels of the sea, were uncovered the foundations of the world, —at the rebuke of Yahweh, the blast of the breath of his nostrils;
17 Estendeu sua mão do alto, e arrebatou-me, E tirou-me de copiosas águas.
He sent from on high, he took me, —he drew me out of many waters;
18 Livrou-me de fortes inimigos, De aqueles que me aborreciam, os quais eram mais fortes que eu.
He rescued me from my foe, in his might, —from them who hated me, because they were too strong for me:
19 Atacaram-me no dia de minha calamidade; Mas o SENHOR foi meu apoio.
They confronted me, in the day of my necessity, —then became Yahweh my stay:
20 Tirou-me para um lugar amplo; Livrou-me, porque se agradou de mim.
And brought out, into a large place, even me, —he delivered me, because he delighted in me:
21 Remunerou-me o SENHOR conforme minha justiça: E conforme a limpeza de minhas mãos ele me pagou.
Yahweh rewarded me, according to my righteousness—according to the cleanness of my hands, he repaid me:
22 Porque eu guardei os caminhos do SENHOR; E não me apartei impiamente de meu Deus.
For I had kept the ways of Yahweh, —and not broken away from my God;
23 Porque diante de mim tenho todas suas ordenanças; E atento a seus estatutos, não me retirarei deles.
For, all his regulations, were before me, —and, as for his statutes, I turned not from them.
24 E fui íntegro para com ele, E guardei-me de minha iniquidade.
So became I blameless towards him, —and kept myself from mine iniquity:
25 Remunerou-me, portanto, o SENHOR conforme minha justiça, E conforme minha limpeza diante de seus olhos.
Yahweh therefore repaid me, according to my righteousness, —according to my pureness before his eyes.
26 Com o bom és benigno, E com o íntegro te mostras íntegro;
With the loving, thou didst show thyself loving, —with the blameless hero, thou didst show thyself blameless;
27 Limpo és para com o limpo, Mas com o perverso és rígido.
With the pure, thou didst show thyself pure, —but, with the perverse, thou didst shew thyself ready to contend:
28 E tu salvas ao povo humilde; Mas teus olhos sobre os altivos, para abatê-los.
And, a patient people, thou didst save, —but, thine eyes, were on the lofty—thou layedst them low;
29 Porque tu és minha lâmpada, ó SENHOR; o SENHOR dá luz às minhas trevas.
For, thou, wast my lamp, O Yahweh, —and, Yahweh, enlightened my darkness;
30 Pois contigo avançarei contra uma tropa, e com o meu Deus saltarei uma muralha.
For, by thee, I ran through a troop, —by my God, I leapt over a wall.
31 O caminho de Deus [é] perfeito; a palavra do SENHOR [é] purificada, é escudo é de todos os que nele confiam.
As for God, blameless is his way, —the speech of Yahweh, hath been proved, a shield, he is to all who seek refuge in him.
32 Porque que Deus há a não ser o SENHOR? Ou quem é forte a não ser nosso Deus?
For who is a GOD, save Yahweh? and who a Rock, save our God?
33 Deus é o que com virtude me corrobora, e o que tira os obstáculos do meu caminho;
GOD, is my fortress of strength, —and shewed to the blameless his way;
34 O que faz meus pés como de cervas, E o que me assenta em minhas alturas;
Planting my feet like the hinds’, —yea, on my high places, he caused me to stand;
35 O que ensina minhas mãos para a luta, e proporciona que com meus braços quebre o arco de bronze.
Teaching my hands, to war, —so that a bow of bronze was bent by mine arms;
36 Tu me deste também o escudo de tua salvação, E tua benignidade me acrescentou.
Thus didst thou grant me, as a shield, thy salvation, —and, thy condescension, made me great.
37 Tu alargaste meus desfiladeiros debaixo de mim, Para que não titubeassem meus joelhos.
Thou didst widen my stepping-places, under me, —so that mine ankles faltered not:
38 Perseguirei a meus inimigos, e os quebrantarei; E não me voltarei até que os acabe.
I pursued my foes, and destroyed them, —and returned not, till they were consumed;
39 Os consumirei, e os ferirei, e não se levantarão; E cairão debaixo de meus pés.
So I consumed them, and crushed them, and they rose not again, —thus fell they under my feet:
40 Cingiste-me de força para a batalha, E fizeste prostrar debaixo de mim os que contra mim se levantaram.
Thus didst thou gird me with strength, for the battle, —thou subduedst mine assailants under me:
41 Tu me deste o pescoço de meus inimigos, De meus aborrecedores, que eu os destruísse.
And, as for my foes, thou didst give me their neck, —yea, them who hated me, that I might destroy them:
42 Olharam, e não houve quem os livrasse; Ao SENHOR, mas não lhes respondeu.
They cried out, but there was none to save, —unto Yahweh, but he answered them not.
43 Eu os esmiuçarei como pó da terra; Eu os pisarei como à lama das ruas, e os dissiparei.
Then did I beat them in pieces, like the dust of the earth, —like the clay of the lanes, did I crush them, stamp them down.
44 Tu me livraste das brigas dos povos; Tu me guardaste para eu que fosse cabeça de nações: Povos que eu não conhecia me serviram.
Thus didst thou rescue me from the contentions of my people, didst keep me to be the head of nations: —a people whom I had not known, served me;
45 Os estrangeiros se sujeitaram a mim; ao ouvirem, me obedeciam.
The sons of the foreigner, came cringing unto me, —at the hearing of the ear, they submitted to me, —
46 Os estrangeiros desfaleciam, E tremiam em seus esconderijos.
The sons of the foreigner, were disheartened, and came quaking, out of their fortresses.
47 Viva o SENHOR, e seja bendita minha rocha; Seja exaltado o Deus, a rocha de meu salvamento:
Yahweh liveth, and blessed be my rock, —and exalted be the God (of the rock) of my salvation: —
48 O Deus que me vingou, E sujeita os povos debaixo de mim:
The GOD who hath avenged me, and brought down peoples under me;
49 E que me tira dentre meus inimigos: Tu me tiraste em alto dentre os que se levantaram contra mim: Livraste-me do homem de iniquidades.
And brought me forth from among my foes, —yea, from mine assailants, hast thou set me on high, from the man of violence, hast thou delivered me.
50 Portanto eu te confessarei entre as nações, ó SENHOR, E cantarei a teu nome.
For this cause, will I praise thee, O Yahweh, among the nations, —and, to thy name, will I touch the strings: —
51 Ele que engrandece as saúdes de seu rei, E faz misericórdia a seu ungido, A Davi, e à sua semente, para sempre.
Who hath made great the victories of his King, —and shown lovingkindness to his Anointed One, to David and to his Seed, unto times age-abiding.
