2 Crônicas 27
1 De vinte e cinco anos era Jotão quando começou a reinar, e dezesseis anos reinou em Jerusalém. O nome de sua mãe foi Jerusa, filha de Zadoque.
Iotham was fiue and twentie yere olde when he began to reigne, and reigned sixteene yeere in Ierusalem, and his mothers name was Ierushah the daughter of Zadok.
2 E fez o que era correto em olhos do SENHOR, conforme a todas as coisas que havia feito Uzias seu pai, salvo que não entrou no templo do SENHOR. E o povo corrompia-se ainda.
And hee did vprightly in the sight of the Lord according to all that his father Vzziah did, saue that hee entred not into the Temple of the Lord, and the people did yet corrupt their wayes.
3 Edificou ele a porta maior da casa do SENHOR, e no muro da fortaleza edificou muito.
He buylt the hie gate of the house of the Lord, and he buylt very much on the wall of the castle.
4 Ademais edificou cidades nas montanhas de Judá, e preparou palácios e torres nos bosques.
Moreouer hee buylt cities in the mountaines of Iudah, and in the forests he buylt palaces and towres.
5 Também teve ele guerra com o rei dos filhos de Amom, aos quais venceu; e deram-lhe os filhos de Amom naquele ano cem talentos de prata, e dez mil coros de trigo, e dez mil de cevada. Isto lhe deram os filhos de Amom, e o mesmo no segundo ano, e no terceiro.
And he fought with the King of the children of Ammon, and preuailed against them. And the children of Ammon gaue him the same yere an hundreth talents of siluer, and ten thousande measures of wheate, and ten thousand of barley: this did the children of Ammon giue him both in the second yeere and the third.
6 Assim que Jotão foi fortificado, porque preparou seus caminhos diante do SENHOR seu Deus.
So Iotham became mightie because hee directed his way before the Lord his God.
7 Os demais dos feitos de Jotão, e todas suas guerras, e seus caminhos, eis que estão escrito no livro dos reis de Israel e de Judá.
Concerning the rest of the acts of Iotham, and all his warres and his wayes, loe, they are written in the booke of the Kings of Israel, and Iudah.
8 Quando começou a reinar era de vinte e cinco anos, e dezesseis reinou em Jerusalém.

9 E descansou Jotão com seus pais, e sepultaram-no na cidade de Davi; e reinou em seu lugar Acaz seu filho.
And Iotham slept with his fathers, and they buryed him in the citie of Dauid: and Ahaz his sonne reigned in his stead.
