1 João 2
1 Meus filhinhos, vos escrevo estas coisas para que não pequeis; mas se alguém pecar, temos um advogado com o Pai: Jesus Cristo, o justo.
My little children, these things I write to you that you may not sin: and if anyone may sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ, [the] Righteous One,
2 E ele é o sacrifício para perdão dos nossos pecados; e não somente dos nossos, mas também dos de todo o mundo.
and He is [the] propitiation for our sins, and not only for ours, but also for the whole world,
3 E nisto sabemos que o conhecemos, se guardamos os seus mandamentos.
and in this we know that we have known Him, if we may keep His commands;
4 Aquele que diz: “Eu o conheço”, mas não guarda os seus mandamentos, é mentiroso, e nele não está a verdade.
he who is saying, “I have known Him,” and is not keeping His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him;
5 Mas quem guarda a sua palavra, nele verdadeiramente o amor de Deus tem se aperfeiçoado; nisso sabemos que estamos nele.
and whoever may keep His word, truly the love of God has been perfected in him; in this we know that we are in Him.
6 Aquele que diz que está nele também deve andar como ele andou.
He who is saying he remains in Him, himself ought to also walk according as He walked.
7 Amados, não vos escrevo um mandamento novo, mas sim o mandamento antigo, que tivestes desde o princípio. Este mandamento antigo é a palavra que ouvistes.
Beloved, I do not write a new command to you, but an old command, that you had from the beginning—the old command is the word that you heard from the beginning;
8 Mas também vos escrevo um mandamento novo, que é verdadeiro nele e em vós; pois as trevas passaram, e a verdadeira luz já ilumina.
again, a new command I write to you, which is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true light now shines;
9 Aquele que diz que está na luz, e odeia seu irmão, até agora está nas trevas.
he who is saying he is in the light, and is hating his brother, he is in the darkness until now;
10 Aquele que ama o seu irmão está na luz, e nele não há motivo algum de tropeço.
he who is loving his brother, he remains in the light, and there is not a stumbling-block in him;
11 Mas aquele que odeia seu irmão está nas trevas, anda nas trevas, e não sabe para onde vai, pois as trevas lhe cegaram os olhos.
but he who is hating his brother, he is in the darkness, and he walks in the darkness, and he has not known where he goes, because the darkness blinded his eyes.
12 Eu vos escrevo, filhinhos, porque pelo nome dele os vossos pecados são perdoados.
I write to you, little children, because sins have been forgiven you through His Name;
13 Eu vos escrevo, pais, porque conheceis aquele que é desde o princípio. Eu vos escrevo, jovens, porque vencestes o maligno. Eu vos escrevi, filhinhos, porque conheceis o Pai.
I write to you, fathers, because you have known Him who [is] from the beginning; I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil [one]; I write to you, little youths, because you have known the Father;
14 Eu vos escrevi, pais, porque conheceis aquele que é desde o princípio. Eu vos escrevi, jovens, porque sois fortes, a palavra de Deus está em vós, e vencestes o maligno.
I wrote to you, fathers, because you have known Him who [is] from the beginning; I wrote to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God remains in you, and you have overcome the evil [one].
15 Não ameis o mundo, nem as coisas que há no mundo. Se alguém ama o mundo, o amor do Pai não está nele.
Do not love the world, nor the things in the world; if anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him,
16 Pois tudo o que há no mundo, a cobiça da carne, a cobiça dos olhos, e a ostentação da vida, não é do Pai, mas do mundo.
because all that [is] in the world—the desire of the flesh, and the desire of the eyes, and the ostentation of [one’s] life—is not of the Father, but of the world,
17 O mundo passa, e também a sua cobiça; mas aquele que faz a vontade de Deus permanece para sempre. (aiōn g165)
and the world is passing away, and the desire of it, but he who is doing the will of God, he remains—throughout the age. (aiōn g165)
18 Filhinhos, é a última hora. E como ouvistes que o anticristo vem, já agora muitos anticristos chegaram. Por isso sabemos que é a última hora.
Little youths, it is the last hour; and even as you heard that the antichrist comes, even now antichrists have become many—whereby we know that it is [the] last hour;
19 Eles saíram de nós, mas não eram dos nossos, pois se fossem dos nossos, continuariam conosco; mas [o que aconteceu] foi para tornar claro que todos eles não eram dos nossos.
they went forth out of us, but they were not of us, for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but [they went out] so that they might be revealed that they are not all of us.
20 Vós, porém, tendes a unção do Santo, e todos vós tendes conhecimento.
And you have an anointing from the Holy One, and have known all things;
21 Eu vos escrevi, não porque não conheceis a verdade, mas sim, porque a conheceis, e porque nenhuma mentira vem da verdade.
I did not write to you because you have not known the truth, but because you have known it, and because no lie is of the truth.
22 Quem é o mentiroso, senão aquele que nega que Jesus é o Cristo? Esse é o anticristo, que nega o Pai e o Filho.
Who is the liar, except he who is denying that Jesus is the Christ? This one is the antichrist who is denying the Father and the Son;
23 Quem nega o Filho também não tem o Pai; aquele que confessa o filho também tem o Pai.
everyone who is denying the Son, neither has the Father; he who is confessing the Son has the Father also.
24 O que ouvistes desde o princípio permaneça em vós. Se o que ouvistes desde o princípio permanecer em vós, também permanecereis no Filho e no Pai.
You, then, that which you heard from the beginning, let it remain in you; if that which you heard from the beginning may remain in you, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father,
and this is the promise that He promised us—the continuous life. (aiōnios g166)
26 Estas coisas vos escrevi acerca dos que vos tentam vos enganar.
These things I wrote to you concerning those leading you astray;
27 E a unção que recebeste dele continua em vós, e não tendes necessidade de que alguém vos ensine; mas, como a unção dele vos ensina tudo, e é verdadeira, e não mentira, e como ela vos ensinou, [assim] nele permanecei.
and you, the anointing that you received from Him, it remains in you, and you have no need that anyone may teach you, but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all, and is true, and is not a lie, and even as was taught you, you will remain in Him.
28 E agora, filhinhos, permanecei nele; a fim de que, quando ele se manifestar, tenhamos confiança, e não sejamos envergonhados diante dele na sua vinda.
And now, little children, remain in Him, so that when He may have appeared, we may have boldness, and may not be ashamed before Him, at His coming;
29 Se sabeis que ele é justo, sabeis que todo aquele que pratica a justiça é nascido dele.
if you know that He is righteous, know that everyone doing righteousness, has been begotten of Him.
