1 Coríntios 3
1 E eu, irmãos, não pude vos falar como a espirituais, mas como a carnais, como a meninos em Cristo.
Brothers, I was not able to address you as spiritual, but as fleshly, as infants in Christ.
2 Com leite eu vos criei, e não com alimento sólido, porque não podíeis; nem mesmo agora ainda podeis;
I gave you milk and not solid food, because you were not ready yet. Alas, you are still not ready,
3 porque ainda sois carnais. Pois, havendo entre vós inveja, brigas, e divisões, por acaso não sois carnais, e andais fazendo conforme o costume humano?
because you are still fleshly! For since there is envy, strife and divisions among you, are you not carnal and acting like ordinary people?
4 Porque dizendo um: “Eu sou de Paulo”, e outro: “Eu [sou] de Apolo”, por acaso não sois carnais?
For when one says, “I am of Paul,” and another, “I am of Apollos,” are you not carnal?
5 Ora, quem é Paulo, e quem é Apolo, senão servidores, pelos quais crestes, conforme o Senhor deu a cada um?
Who then is Paul, who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord has given to each one?
6 Eu plantei; Apolo regou; mas foi Deus quem deu o crescimento.
I planted, Apollos watered, but God keeps making it grow.
7 De maneira que nem o que planta é algo, nem o que rega; mas sim Deus, que dá o crescimento.
So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who makes it grow.
8 E o que planta e o que rega são um; mas cada um receberá a sua recompensa segundo o seu trabalho.
Now he who plants and he who waters are at one, but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor.
9 Porque somos cooperadores de Deus; vós sois a plantação de Deus, o edifício de Deus.
Yes, we are God's coworkers; you are God's ‘field’, God's ‘building’.
10 Segundo a graça de Deus que me foi dada, eu, como sábio construtor, pus o fundamento; e outro edifica sobre ele; mas cada um veja como edifica sobre ele.
According to the grace of God that was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid a foundation, while another builds on it. But let each one be careful how he builds;
11 Pois ninguém pode pôr fundamento diferente do que já está posto, o qual é Jesus Cristo.
for no one can lay any foundation other than what is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12 E se alguém sobre este fundamento edificar ouro, prata, pedras preciosas, madeira, feno, palha,
Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw,
13 a obra de cada um se manifestará; porque o dia a esclarecerá; pois pelo fogo se descobre; e qual é a obra de cada um, o fogo fará a prova.
the work of each will become evident; because the Day will make it clear, because it will be revealed by fire. Yes, the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is.
14 Se a obra de alguém que construiu sobre ele permanecer, receberá recompensa.
If the work that anyone built endures, he will receive a reward.
15 Se a obra de alguém se queimar, ele sofrerá perda; porém o tal se salvará, todavia, como que [passado] pelo fogo.
If anyone's work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, albeit so as through fire.
16 Não sabeis vós, que sois o templo de Deus? E que o Espírito de Deus habita em vós?
Do you (pl) not know that you are a temple of God and the Spirit of God dwells in you?
17 Se alguém destruir o templo de Deus, Deus ao tal destruirá; porque o templo de Deus é santo, o qual sois vós.
If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him; because God's temple, which you are, is holy.
18 Ninguém se engane; se alguém entre vós nestes tempos pensa ser sábio, que se faça de louco, para que seja sábio. (aiōn g165)
Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become ‘foolish’ so that he may become wise. (aiōn g165)
19 Pois a sabedoria deste mundo é loucura para Deus; porque está escrito: Ele toma aos sábios pela sua própria astúcia.
Because the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written: “He catches the wise in their craftiness”;
20 E outra vez: O Senhor conhece os pensamentos dos sábios, que são vãos.
and again, “The Lord knows the reasonings of the wise, that they are futile.”
21 Portanto ninguém se orgulhe em seres humanos; porque tudo é vosso,
So then, let no one boast in men, for all things are yours:
22 seja Paulo, seja Apolo, seja Cefas, seja o mundo, seja a vida, seja a morte, seja o presente, seja o futuro; tudo é vosso.
whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, whether the world or life or death, whether things present or things to come—all are yours,
23 Mas vós sois de Cristo; e Cristo, de Deus.
and you are Christ's, and Christ is God's.
