1 Coríntios 15
1 Também irmãos, eu vos declaro o Evangelho, que já vos tenho anunciado, o qual também recebestes, no qual também estais.
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also all of you have received, and wherein all of you stand;
2 Pelo qual também sois salvos, se retiverdes a palavra naquela maneira, em que eu vos tenho anunciado; a não ser se tenhais crido em vão.
By which also all of you are saved, if all of you keep in memory what (logos) I preached unto you, unless all of you have believed in vain.
3 Porque primeiramente vos entreguei o que também recebi, que Cristo morreu por nossos pecados, segundo as Escrituras;
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 E que foi sepultado, e que ressuscitou ao terceiro dia, segundo as Escrituras;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
5 E que foi visto por Cefas, depois pelos doze.
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
6 Depois foi visto de uma fez por mais de quinhentos irmãos, dos quais a maioria [ainda] vive, e também alguns já dormem.
After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
7 Depois foi visto por Tiago; depois por todos os apóstolos.
After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.
8 E por último de todos também foi visto por mim, como que a um nascido fora do tempo.
And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.
9 Porque eu sou o menor dos apóstolos, que não sou digno de ser chamado apóstolo, porque persegui a Igreja de Deus.
For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
10 Mas pela graça de Deus sou o que sou; e sua graça [concedida] a mim não foi vã; ao invés disso trabalhei muito mais que todos eles; porém não eu, mas a graça de Deus que está comigo.
But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
11 Portanto, seja eu, sejam eles, assim pregamos, e assim crestes.
Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so all of you believed.
12 E se é pregado que Cristo ressuscitou dos mortos, como dizem alguns dentre vós, que não há ressurreição dos mortos?
Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
13 E se não há ressurreição dos mortos, [então] Cristo não ressuscitou.
But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
14 E se Cristo não ressuscitou, então é vã nossa pregação, e vã também é vossa fé.
And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
15 E assim também somos encontrados como falsas testemunhas de Deus; pois testemunhamos de Deus, que ressuscitou a Cristo, ao qual [porém] não ressuscitou, se na verdade os mortos não ressuscitam.
Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
16 Porque se os mortos não ressuscitam, [então] Cristo também não ressuscitou.
For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
17 E se Cristo não ressuscitou, vossa fé é vá, [e] ainda estais em vossos pecados.
And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; all of you are yet in your sins.
18 Portanto também pereceram os que dormiram em Cristo.
Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
19 Se nesta vida esperamos somente em Cristo, somos os mais miseráveis de todas as pessoas.
If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
20 Mas de fato Cristo ressuscitou dos mortos, [e] foi feito as primícias dos que dormiram.
But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first-fruits of them that slept.
21 Pois dado que a morte [veio] por um homem, também por um homem [veio] a ressurreição dos mortos.
For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22 Porque assim como em Adão todos morrem, assim também em Cristo todos serão vivificados.
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 Mas cada um em sua ordem; Cristo, as primícias; depois os que são de Cristo, em sua vinda.
But every man in his own order: Christ the first-fruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
24 Depois será o fim, quando entregar o Reino de Deus e ao Pai, quando aniquilar todo domínio, e toda autoridade e poder.
Then comes the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
25 Porque convém que ele reine, até que tenha posto todos os inimigos debaixo de seus pés.
For he must reign, till he has put all enemies under his feet.
26 O último inimigo, que será aniquilado, [é] a morte.
The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
27 Porque ele sujeitou todas as coisas debaixo de seus pés. Porém quando diz que todas as coisas [lhe] estão sujeitas, está claro que se excetua aquele que todas as coisas lhe sujeitou.
For he has put all things under his feet. But when he says all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
28 E quando todas as coisas lhe forem sujeitas, então também o mesmo Filho se sujeitará a aquele, que todas as coisas lhe sujeitou, para que Deus seja tudo em todos.
And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
29 De outra maneira, que farão os que se batizam pelos mortos, se totalmente os mortos não ressuscitam? Por que, então, se batizam pelos mortos?
Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?
30 Por que também nós à toda hora estamos em perigo?
And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?
31 A cada dia eu morro pelo orgulho que tenho por vós, em Cristo Jesus nosso Senhor.
I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our LORD, I die daily.
32 Se por motivo humano lutei contra feras em Éfeso, qual é o meu proveito? Se os mortos não ressuscitam, comamos e bebamos, que amanhã morreremos.
If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantages it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; in order to morrow we die.
33 Não erreis. As más companhias corrompem os bons costumes.
Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
34 Despertai para a justiça, e não pequeis; porque alguns [ainda] não têm o conhecimento de Deus. Eu digo isto para vossa vergonha.
Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
35 Mas alguém dirá: Como ressuscitarão os mortos? E com que corpo virão?
But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
36 Louco, o que tu semeias não é vivificado, se [primeiro] não morrer.
You fool, that which you sow is not quickened, except it die:
37 E o que semeias, não semeias o corpo que irá brotar, mas o grão nu, como o de trigo, ou de qualquer outro [grão].
And that which you sow, you sow not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
38 Mas Deus lhe dá o corpo como quer, e a cada semente seu próprio corpo.
But God gives it a body as it has pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
39 Toda carne não é a mesma carne; mas uma é a carne humana, e outra a carne dos animais, e outra a dos peixes, e outra a das aves.
All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
40 E há corpos celestiais, e corpos terrestres; mas uma é a glória dos celestiais, e outra a dos terrestres.
There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
41 Outra é a glória do Sol, e outra a glória da Lua, e outra a glória das estrelas; porque [uma] estrela difere em glória [de outra] estrela.
There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differs from another star in glory.
42 Assim também será a ressurreição dos mortos. Semeia-se [o corpo] degradável, ressuscitará capaz de nunca se degradar.
So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43 Semeia-se em desonra, ressuscitará em glória. Semeia-se em fraqueza, ressuscitará em força.
It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 Semeia-se corpo natural, ressuscitará corpo espiritual. Há corpo animal, e há corpo espiritual.
It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45 Assim também está escrito: O primeiro homem, Adão, foi feito em alma vivente; o último Adão em espírito vivificante.
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a life-giving spirit. (pneuma)
46 Mas não é primeiro o espiritual; mas sim o carnal, depois o espiritual.
Nevertheless that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47 O primeiro homem da terra [é] terrestre; o segundo homem, [que é] o Senhor, [é] do Céu.
The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.
48 Assim como [é] o terrestre, também [são] os terrestres; e assim como [é] o celestial, também [são] os celestiais.
As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 E assim como trouxemos a imagem do terrestre, assim também traremos a imagem do celestial.
And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50 Porém isto digo, irmãos, que a carne e o sangue não podem herdar o Reino de Deus, nem o que é degradável herda a capacidade de não se degradar.
Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.
51 eis que eu vos digo um mistério: nem todos em verdade dormiremos; porém todos seremos transformados.
Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 Em um momento, em um piscar de olhos, à ultima trombeta; porque a trombeta soará, e os mortos ressuscitarão capazes de não se degradar, e nós seremos transformados.
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 Porque é necessário que este [corpo] degradável revista-se da capacidade de não se degradar, e este [corpo] mortal vista a imortalidade.
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 E quando este [corpo] se revestir da capacidade de não se degradar, e este [corpo] mortal se vestir de imortalidade, então se cumprirá a palavra que está escrita: Na vitória, a morte é tragada.
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying (logos) that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory? (Hadēs g86)
56 O aguilhão da morte é o pecado, e a força do pecado é a Lei.
The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 Mas graças a Deus, que nos dá vitória por meio do nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo.
But thanks be to God, which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Portanto, meus amados irmãos, sede firmes, imóveis [e] sempre abundantes na obra do Senhor, sabendo que o vosso trabalho não é vão no Senhor.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be all of you steadfast, immoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as all of you know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
