3 Enoque, Matusalém, Lameque,
Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech:
4 Noé, Sem, Cam, e Jafé.
Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
5 Os filhos de Jafé foram: Gômer, Magogue, Dadai, Javã, Tubal, Meseque, e Tiras.
The sons of Japheth, Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech and Tiras.
6 Os filhos de Gômer: Asquenaz, Rifate, e Togarma.
And, the sons of Gomer, Ashkenaz, and Diphath, and Togarmah.
7 Os filhos de Javã: Elisá, Társis, Quitim, e Dodanim.
And, the sons of Javan, Elishah, and Tarshish, —Kittim, and Rodanim.
8 Os filhos de Cam: Cuxe, Misraim, Pute, e Canaã.
The sons of Ham, Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
9 Os filhos de Cuxe: Sebá, Havilá, Sabtá, Raamá, e Sabtecá. E os filhos de Raamá foram: Sebá e Dedã.
And, the sons of Cush, Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raama, and Sabteca. And, the sons of Raamah, Sheba, and Dedan.
10 E Cuxe gerou a Ninrode: este começou a ser poderoso na terra.
And, Cush, begat Nimrod, —he, began to be a mighty one in the earth.
11 Misraim gerou aos ludeus, aos ananeus, aos leabeus, aos leabeus, aos naftueus,
And, Mizraim, begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
12 Aos patrusitas, e aos casluítas (destes saíram os Filisteus), e os caftoreus.
and Pathrusim, and Casluhim—whence went forth the Philistines, and Caphtorim.
13 E Canaã gerou a Sidom, seu primogênito; e a Hete;
And, Canaan, begat Zidon his firstborn, and Heth;
14 E aos jebuseus, aos amorreus, aos girgaseus;
and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite;
15 Aos heveus, aos arqueus, ao sineus;
and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite;
16 Aos arvadeus, aos zemareus, e aos hamateus.
and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
17 Os filhos de Sem foram: Elão, Assur, Arfaxade, Lude, Arã, Uz, Hul, Geter, e Meseque.
The sons of Shem, Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, —and Uz, and Hul, and Gethur, and Meshech.
18 Arfaxade gerou a Selá, e Selá gerou a Héber.
And, Arpachshad, begat Shelah, —and, Shelah, begat Eber.
19 E a Héber nasceram dois filhos: o nome do um foi Pelegue, pois em seus dias a terra foi dividida; e o nome de seu irmão foi Joctã.
And, unto Eber, were born two sons, —the name of the one, was Peleg, for, in his days, was the earth divided, and, the name of his brother, was Joktan.
20 E Joctã gerou a Almodá, Salefe, Hazarmavé, e Jerá,
And, Joktan, begat Almodad, and Sheleph, —and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah;
21 E a Adorão, Uzal, Dicla,
and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah;
22 Ebal, Abimael, Sebá,
and Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba;
23 Ofir, Havilá, e a Jobabe: todos filhos de Joctã.
and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these, were the sons of Joktan.
24 Sem, Arfaxade, Selá,
Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah;
25 Héber, Pelegue, Reú,
Eber, Peleg, Reu;
26 Serugue, Naor, Terá,
Serug, Nahor, Terah;
27 E Abrão, o qual é Abraão.
Abram—the same, is Abraham.
28 Os filhos de Abraão foram: Isaque e Ismael.
The sons of Abraham, Isaac and Ishmael.
29 E estas são suas gerações: o primogênito de Ismael foi Nebaiote; [depois] Quedar, Adbeel, Mibsão,
These, are their generations, —the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth, then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam;
30 Misma, Dumá, Massá, Hadade, Temá,
Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema;
31 Jetur, Nafis, e Quedemá. Estes foram os filhos de Ismael.
Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These, are the sons of Ishmael.
32 Quanto aos filhos de Quetura, concubina de Abraão, esta deu à luz Zinrã, Jocsã, Medã, Midiã, Isbaque, e a Suá. Os filhos de Jobsã: Sebá e Dedã.
And, the sons of Keturah, the concubine of Abraham, she bare Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah, —and, the sons of Jokshan, Sheba, and Dedan;
33 Os filhos de Midiã: Efá, Efer, Enoque, Abida, e Elda; todos estes foram filhos de Quetura.
and, the sons of Midian, Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these, were the sons of Keturah.
34 E Abraão gerou a Isaque: e os filhos de Isaque foram Esaú e Israel.
So then Abraham begat Isaac, —the sons of Isaac, were Esau and Israel.
35 Os filhos de Esaú: Elifaz, Reuel, Jeús, Jalão, e Corá.
the sons of Esau, Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jalam, and Korah.
36 Os filhos de Elifaz: Temã, Omar, Zefi, Gatã, Quenaz, Timna, e Amaleque.
The sons of Eliphaz, Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
37 Os filhos de Reuel: Naate, Zerá, Samá, e Mizá.
The sons of Reuel, Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
38 Os filhos de Seir: Lotã, Sobal, Zibeão, Ana, Disom, Eser, e Disã.
And, the sons of Seir, Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, —and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
39 Os filhos de Lotã: Hori, e Homã: e Timna foi irmã de Lotã.
And, the sons of Lotan, Hori, and Homam, —and, Lotan’s sister, was Timna.
40 Os filhos de Sobal: Aliã, Manaate, Ebal, Sefi e Onã. Os filhos de Zibeão foram: Aiá, e Aná.
The sons of Shobal, Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi and Onam. And, the sons of Zibeon, Aiah and Anah.
41 Disom foi filho de Aná: e os filhos de Disom foram Hanrão, Esbã, Itrã e Querã.
The sons of Anah, Dishon, —and, the sons of Dishon, Hamran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
42 Os filhos de Eser foram: Bilã, Zaavã, e Jaacã. Os filhos de Disã: Uz e Arã.
The sons of Ezer, Bilhan, and Zaavan, Jaakan. The sons of Dishan, Uz and Aran.
43 E estes são os reis que reinaram na terra de Edom, antes que reinasse [algum] rei sobre os filhos de Israel: Belá, filho de Beor; e o nome de sua cidade era Dinabá.
Now, these, are the kings, who reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned a king of the sons of Israel, —Bela the son of Beor, and, the name of his city, was Dinhabah.
44 Belá morreu, e reinou em seu lugar Jobabe, filho de Zerá, de Bozra.
And Bela died, —and there reigned in his stead, Jobab son of Zerah, of Bozrah.
45 Jobabe morreu, e reinou em seu lugar Husão, da terra dos Temanitas.
And Jobab died, —and there reigned in his stead, Husham, of the land of the Temanites.
46 Husão morreu, e reinou em seu lugar Hadade, filho de Bedade, o qual feriu aos midianitas no campo de Moabe; e o nome de sua cidade era Avite.
And Husham died, —and there reigned in his stead, Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, and, the name of his city, was Avith.
47 Hadade morreu, e reinou em seu lugar Sanlá, de Masreca.
And Hadad died, —and there reigned in his stead, Samlah of Masrekah.
48 Sanlá morreu, e reinou em seu lugar Saul de Reobote, que está junto ao rio.
And Samlah died, —and there reigned in his stead, Shaul, of Rehoboth by the River.
49 E Saul morreu, e reinou em seu lugar Baal-Hanã, filho de Acbor.
And Shaul died, —and there reigned in his stead, Baal-hanan, the son of Achbor.
50 E Baal-Hanã morreu, e reinou em seu lugar Hadade, cuja cidade tinha por nome Paí; e o nome de sua mulher era Meetabel, filha de Matrede, a filha de Mezaabe.
And Baal-hanan died, —and there reigned in his stead, Hadad, and, the name of his city, was Pai, —and, the name of his wife, was Mehetabel, daughter of Matred, daughter of Mezahab.
51 Hadade morreu. E os príncipes em Edom foram: o príncipe Timna, o príncipe Aliá, o príncipe Jetete,
And Hadad died. And there were chiefs of Edom: chief Timna, chief Aliah, chief Jetheth;
52 O príncipe Oolibama, o príncipe Elá, o príncipe Pinom,
chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon;
53 O príncipe Quenaz, o príncipe Temã, o príncipe Mibzar,
chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar;
54 O príncipe Magdiel, o príncipe Irã. Estes foram os príncipe de Edom.
chief Magdiel, chief Iram. These, were the chiefs of Edom.
