1 Crônicas 29
1 Depois disse o rei Davi a toda a assembleia: A só Salomão meu filho elegeu Deus; ele é jovem e tenro, e a obra grande; porque a casa não é para homem, mas sim para o SENHOR Deus.
And king David said unto all the assembly, Solomon, the only son of mine whom God hath made choice of, is yet young and tender, and the work is great; because not for man is the palace to be, but for the Lord God.
2 Eu, porém, com todas as minhas forças preparei, para a casa de meu Deus, ouro para as coisas de ouro, e prata para as coisas de prata, e bronze para as de bronze, e ferro para as de ferro, e madeira para as de madeira, e pedras de ônix, e pedras decorativas, e pedras negras, e pedras de diversas cores, e toda sorte de pedras preciosas, e pedras de mármore em abundância.
But with all my might have I made ready for the house of my God, the gold for the things of gold, and the silver for the things of silver, and the copper for the things of copper, the iron for the things of iron, and the wood for the things of wood, onyx stones, and stones to be set, bright stones, and stones of divers colors, and all manner of precious stones, and marble stones in abundance.
3 A mais disto, porquanto tenho meu gosto na casa de meu Deus, eu guardo em meu tesouro particular ouro e prata que, ademais de todas as coisas que aprontei para a casa do santuário, ei dado para a casa de meu Deus;
Moreover, because I have set my affection on the house of my God, have I acquired as my own property gold and silver; [and this] have I given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house:
4 A saber, três mil talentos de ouro, de ouro de Ofir, e sete mil talentos de prata refinada para cobrir as paredes das casas:
Three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses;
5 Ouro, pois, para as coisas de ouro, e prata para as coisas de prata, e para toda a obra de mãos dos oficiais. E quem quer fazer hoje oferta a o SENHOR?
All that is needed of gold and of silver, and for every manner of work [to be made] by the hands of artificers. And who [now] is willing to consecrate his hand this day unto the Lord?
6 Então os príncipes das famílias, e os príncipes das tribos de Israel, comandantes e centuriões, com os superintendentes da riqueza do rei, ofereceram de sua vontade;
Thereupon offered voluntarily the chiefs of the family divisions and the princes of the tribes of Israel, and the captains of the thousands and of the hundreds, with the supervisors of the king's work;
7 E deram para o serviço da casa de Deus cinco mil talentos de ouro e dez mil moedas, e dez mil talentos de prata, e dezoito mil talentos de bronze, e cinco mil talentos de ferro.
And they gave for the service of the house of God of gold five thousand talents and ten thousand drachms, and of silver ten thousand talents, and of copper eighteen thousand talents, and of iron one hundred thousand talents.
8 E todo o que se achou com pedras preciosas, deu-as para o tesouro da casa do SENHOR, em mão de Jeiel gersonita.
And those with whom stones were found gave them to the treasury of the house of the Lord, under the supervision of Jechiel the Gershunite.
9 E folgou-se o povo de haver contribuído de sua vontade; porque com inteiro coração ofereceram a o SENHOR voluntariamente.
Then did the people rejoice, because they had voluntarily offered: for with an undivided heart did they offer to the Lord: and also king David rejoiced with great joy.
10 Assim folgou-se muito o rei Davi, e abençoou a o SENHOR diante de toda a congregação; e disse Davi: Bendito sejas tu, ó o SENHOR, Deus de Israel nosso pai, de um século a outro.
And David blessed the Lord before the eyes of all the congregation; and David said, Blessed be thou, O Lord the God of Israel our father, from everlasting even unto everlasting.
11 Tua é, ó o SENHOR, a magnificência, e o poder, e a glória, a vitória, e a honra; porque todas as coisas que estão nos céus e na terra são tuas. Teu, ó o SENHOR, é o reino, e a altura sobre todos os que estão por cabeça.
Thine, O Lord, are the greatness, and the might, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty, yea, all that is in the heavens and on the earth: thine, O Lord, is the kingdom, and thou art exalted as the head above all.
12 As riquezas e a glória estão diante de ti, e tu senhoreias a todos: e em tua mão está a potência e a fortaleza, e em tua mão a grandeza e força de todas as coisas.
And riches and honor come from thee, and thou rulest over all; and in thy hand are power and might; and it is in thy hand to make great, and to give strength unto all.
13 Agora, pois, Deus nosso, nós te confessamos, e louvamos teu glorioso nome.
And now, O our God, we give thanks unto thee, and praise thy glorious name.
14 Porque quem sou eu, e quem é meu povo, para que pudéssemos oferecer de nossa vontade coisas semelhantes? Porque tudo é teu, e o que recebemos de tua mão te damos.
For who am I, and what is my people, that we should possess the power to offer voluntarily after this sort? for from thee is every thing, and out of thy own have we given unto thee.
15 Porque nós, estrangeiros e peregrinos somos diante de ti, como todos nossos pais; e nossos dias qual sombra sobre a terra, e não dão espera.
For strangers are we before thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: like a shadow are our days on the earth, and there is no hope [of abiding].
16 Ó SENHOR Deus nosso, toda esta abundância que preparamos para edificar casa a teu santo nome, de tua mão é, e tudo é teu.
O Lord our God! all this abundant store which we have prepared to build for thee a house for thy holy name, is out of thy own hand, and thine is all.
17 Eu sei, Deus meu, que tu esquadrinhas os corações, e que a retidão te agrada: por isso eu com retidão de meu coração voluntariamente te ei oferecido tudo isto, e agora vi com alegria que teu povo, que aqui se achou agora, deu para ti espontaneamente.
And I know, my God, that thou probest the heart, and uprightness thou receivest in favor. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart have I voluntarily offered all these things; and now thy people, that are present here, do I see with joy offering voluntarily unto thee.
18 SENHOR, Deus de Abraão, de Isaque, e de Israel, nossos pais, conserva perpetuamente esta vontade do coração de teu povo, e encaminha seu coração a ti.
O Lord, God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our father, preserve this for ever as the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and direct their heart firmly unto thee.
19 E ao meu filho Salomão dá um coração íntegro, para que guarde os teus mandamentos, os teus testemunhos e os teus estatutos, e para que faça todas as coisas, e te edifique a casa para a qual eu preparei.
And unto Solomon my son do thou give an undivided heart to keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all, and to build the palace, for which I have made preparation.
20 Depois disse Davi a toda à congregação: Bendizei agora ao SENHOR vosso Deus. Então toda a congregação bendisse ao SENHOR Deus de seus pais, e inclinando-se, adoraram diante do SENHOR, e do rei.
And David said to all the assembly. Bless now the Lord your God. And all the assembly blessed the Lord the God of their fathers, and bent down their heads, and prostrated themselves to the Lord, and to the king.
21 E sacrificaram animais ao SENHOR, e ofereceram ao SENHOR holocaustos no dia seguinte, mil bezerros, mil carneiros, mil cordeiros com as suas libações, e muitos sacrifícios por todo Israel.
And they sacrificed sacrifices unto the Lord, and they offered burnt-offerings unto the Lord, on the morrow after that day, one thousand bullocks, a thousand rams, a thousand sheep, with their drink-offerings, and [other] sacrifices in abundance for all Israel;
22 E comeram e beberam diante do SENHOR aquele dia com grande alegria; e deram a segunda vez a investidura do reino a Salomão filho de Davi, e ungiram-no ao SENHOR por príncipe, e a Zadoque por sacerdote.
And they ate and drank before the Lord on that day with great joy. And they declared the second time Solomon the son of David to be king, and they anointed him unto the Lord as chief ruler, and Zadok as priest.
23 E sentou-se Salomão por rei no trono do SENHOR em lugar de Davi seu pai, e foi próspero; e obedeceu-lhe todo Israel.
Then sat Solomon on the throne of the Lord as king instead of David his father, and he was prosperous; and all Israel obeyed him.
24 E todos os príncipes e poderosos, e todos os filhos do rei Davi, prestaram homenagem ao rei Salomão.
And all the princes, and the mighty men, and also all the sons of king David, submitted themselves unto king Solomon.
25 E o SENHOR engrandeceu em extremo a Salomão a os olhos de todo Israel, e deu-lhe glória do reino, qual nenhum rei a teve antes dele em Israel.
And the Lord made Solomon exceedingly great before the eyes of all Israel; and he bestowed upon him a royal majesty such as had not been on any king over Israel before him.
26 Assim reinou Davi filho de Jessé sobre todo Israel.
Thus did David the son of Jesse reign over all Israel.
27 E o tempo que reinou sobre Israel foi quarenta anos. Sete anos reinou em Hebrom, e trinta e três reinou em Jerusalém.
And the time that he reigned over Israel was forty years: in Hebron he reigned seven years, and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three [years].
28 E morreu em boa velhice, cheio de dias, de riquezas, e de glória: e reinou em seu lugar Salomão seu filho.
And he died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honor: and Solomon his son became king in his stead.
29 E os feitos do rei Davi, primeiros e últimos, estão escritos no livro das crônicas de Samuel vidente, e nas crônicas do profeta Natã, e nas crônicas de Gade vidente,
And the acts of king David, the first and the last, behold, they are written in the history of Samuel the seer, and in the history of Nathan the prophet, and in the history of Gad the seer,
30 Com todo o relato de seu reinado, e seu poder, e os tempos que passaram sobre ele, e sobre Israel, e sobre todos os reinos daquelas aquelas terras.
Together with all his reign and his mighty deeds, and the times that passed over him, and over Israel, and over all the kingdoms of the [various] countries.
