Zacarias 5

1 E outra vez levantei os meus olhos, e olhei, e eis que vi um rolo voante.

Then I turned, and lifted up my eyes, and looked, and behold a flying scroll.

2 E me disse: Que vês? E eu disse: Vejo um rolo voante, que tem vinte côvados de comprido e dez côvados de largo.

And he said to me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying scroll; its length is twenty cubits, and its breadth ten cubits.

3 Então me disse: Esta é a maldição que sairá pela face de toda a terra; porque qualquer que furtar daí, conforme a mesma maldição, será desarraigado: como também qualquer que jurar falsamente daí, conforme a mesma maldição, será desarraigado.

Then said he to me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side according to it.

4 Eu a tirarei para fora, disse o Senhor dos exércitos, e virá à casa do ladrão, e à casa do que jurar falsamente pelo meu nome; e pernoitará no meio da sua casa, e a consumirá a ela com a sua madeira e com as suas pedras

I will bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with its timber and its stones.

5 E saiu o anjo, que falava comigo, e me disse: Levanta agora os teus olhos, e vê que é isto que sai.

Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said to me, Lift up now thy eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.

6 E eu disse: Que é isto? E ele disse: Isto é um epha que sai. Mais disse: Este é o olho deles em toda a terra.

And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that goeth forth. He said moreover, This is their resemblance through all the earth.

7 E eis que foi levantado um talento de chumbo, e havia uma mulher que estava assentada no meio do epha.

And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah.

8 E ele disse: Esta é a impiedade. E a lançou dentro do epha; e lançou na boca dele o peso de chumbo.

And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon its mouth.

9 E levantei os meus olhos, e olhei, e eis que duas mulheres sairam, e havia vento nas suas asas, e tinham asas como as asas da cegonha; e levantaram o epha entre a terra e o céu.

Then I lifted up my eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven.

10 Então eu disse ao anjo que falava comigo: Para onde levam estas o epha?

Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Where do these bear the ephah?

11 E ele me disse: Para lhe edificarem uma casa na terra de Sinear, e, sendo esta assentada, ele será posto ali sobre a sua base.

And he said to me, To build for it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base.
