Zacarias 3

1 E me mostrou o sumo sacerdote Josué, o qual estava diante do Senhor, e Satanás estava à sua mão direita, para se lhe opôr.

And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him.

2 Porém o Senhor disse a Satanás O Senhor te repreenda, ó Satanás, sim, o Senhor, que escolheu Jerusalém, te repreenda: não é este um tição tirado do fogo?

And the LORD said unto Satan: 'The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan, yea, the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee; is not this man a brand plucked out of the fire?'

3 Josué estava vestido de vestidos sujos, e estava diante do anjo.

Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.

4 Então respondeu, e falou aos que estavam diante dele, dizendo: Tira-lhe estes vestidos sujos. E a ele lhe disse: Eis que tenho feito passar de ti a tua iniquidade, e te vestirei de vestidos novos.

And he answered and spoke unto those that stood before him, saying: 'Take the filthy garments from off him.' And unto him he said: 'Behold, I cause thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with robes.'

5 E disse eu: Ponham-lhe uma mitra limpa sobre a sua cabeça. E puseram uma mitra limpa sobre a sua cabeça, e o vestiram de vestidos: e o anjo do Senhor estava em pé.

And I said: 'Let them set a fair mitre upon his head.' So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments; and the angel of the LORD stood by.

6 E o anjo do Senhor protestou a Josué, dizendo:

And the angel of the LORD forewarned Joshua, saying:

7 Assim diz o Senhor dos exércitos: Se andares nos meus caminhos, e se observares a minha carga, também tu julgarás a minha casa, e também guardarás os meus átrios, e te darei andaduras entre os que estão aqui.

'Thus saith the LORD of hosts: If thou wilt walk in My ways, and if thou wilt keep My charge, and wilt also judge My house, and wilt also keep My courts, then I will give thee free access among these that stand by.

8 Ouve pois, Josué, sumo sacerdote, tu e os teus companheiros que se assentam diante de ti, porque são homens portentosos, porque eis que eu farei vir o meu servo, o Renovo.

Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou and thy fellows that sit before thee; for they are men that are a sign; for, behold, I will bring forth My servant the Shoot.

9 Porque eis aqui a pedra que pus diante de Josué: sobre esta pedra única estarão sete olhos: eis que eu esculpirei a sua escultura, diz o Senhor dos exércitos, e tirarei a iniquidade desta terra num dia.

For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone are seven facets; behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts: And I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

10 Naquele dia, diz o Senhor dos exércitos, cada um de vós convidará o seu companheiro para debaixo da videira e para debaixo da figueira.

In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig-tree.
