Apocalipse 1
1 Revelação de Jesus Cristo, a qual Deus lhe deu, para mostrar aos seus servos as coisas que brevemente devem acontecer; e pelo seu anjo as enviou, e as notificou a João seu servo;
The Revelation of Jesus Christ that God gave him to show his bondmen what must happen quickly. And he signified it, having sent by his agent to his bondman John
2 O qual testificou da palavra de Deus, e do testemunho de Jesus Cristo, e de tudo o que tem visto.
who testified the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ, as many things as he saw.
3 Bem-aventurado aquele que lê, e os que ouvem as palavras desta profecia, e guardam as coisas que nela estão escritas; porque o tempo está próximo.
Blessed is he who reads, and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and who keep the things written in it, for the time is near.
4 João, às sete igrejas que estão na Asia: Graça e paz seja convosco da parte daquele que é, e que era, e que há de vir, e da dos sete espíritos que estão diante do seu trono;
John, to the seven congregations in Asia: Grace to you and peace from God, who is and who was and who is coming, and from the seven Spirits that are before his throne,
5 E da parte de Jesus Cristo, que é a fiel testemunha, o primogênito dos mortos e o príncipe dos reis da terra. aquele que nos amou, e em seu sangue nos lavou dos nossos pecados,
and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and washed us from our sins by his blood
6 E nos fez reis e sacerdotes para Deus e seu Pai: a ele glória e poder para todo o sempre. amém. (aiōn g165)
and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him is the glory and the dominion into the ages of the ages. Truly. (aiōn g165)
7 Eis que vem com as nuvens, e todo o olho o verá, até os mesmos que o traspassaram, e todas as tribos da terra se lamentarão sobre ele. Sim. amém.
Behold, he comes with the clouds and every eye will see him, even the men who pierced him. And all the tribes of the earth will wail against him. Yea, Truly.
8 Eu sou o Alpha e o Omega, o princípio e o fim, diz o Senhor, que é, e que era, e que há de vir, o Todo-poderoso.
I am the Alpha and the Omega, says the Lord, the God who is and who was and who is coming, the Almighty.
9 Eu, João, que também sou vosso irmão, e companheiro na aflição, e no reino, e paciência de Jesus Cristo, estava na ilha chamada Patmos, por causa da palavra de Deus, e pelo testemunho de Jesus Cristo.
I John, your brother and companion in the tribulation and kingdom and perseverance in Christ Jesus, happened to be on the isle that is called Patmos because of the word of God, and because of the testimony of Jesus Christ.
10 Eu fui arrebatado em espírito no dia do Senhor, e ouvi detraz de mim uma grande voz, como de trombeta,
I became in spirit on the Lord's day and I heard behind me a great voice like a trumpet
11 Que dizia: O que vês, escreve-o num livro, e envia-o às sete igrejas que estão na Asia: a Éfeso, e a Smyrna, e a Pérgamo, e a Thyatira, e a Sardo, e a Philadelphia, e a Laodicéa.
saying, What thou see, write in a book and send to the seven congregations: to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamos, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.
12 E virei-me para ver quem falara comigo. E, virando-me, vi sete castiçais de ouro;
And I turned there to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands.
13 E no meio dos sete castiçais um semelhante ao Filho do homem, vestido até aos pés de um vestido comprido, e cingido pelos peitos com um cinto de ouro.
And in the midst of the seven lampstands, resembling a son of man, he who was clothed down to the foot, and girded about with a golden belt at the breasts.
14 E a sua cabeça e cabelos eram brancos como lã branca, como a neve, e os seus olhos como chama de fogo;
And his head and hair were white as wool, white as snow, and his eyes as a flame of fire,
15 E os seus pés, semelhantes a latão reluzente, como se tivessem sido refinados numa fornalha, e a sua voz como a voz de muitas águas.
and his feet resembling highly refined metal, as in a furnace having been fiery hot, and his voice as the sound of many waters,
16 E tinha na sua dextra sete estrelas; e da sua boca saía uma aguda espada de dois fios; e o seu rosto era como o sol, quando na sua força resplandece.
and having in his right hand seven stars, and a sharp two-edged sword coming out of his mouth. And the sight of him was as the sun shines in its strength.
17 E eu, quando o vi, caí a seus pés como morto; e ele pôs sobre mim a sua dextra, dizendo-me: Não temas; Eu sou o primeiro e o derradeiro;
And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying, Fear not, I am the first and the last,
19 Escreve as coisas que tens visto e as que são, e as que depois destas hão de acontecer:
Therefore write the things that thou saw, and things that are, and things that are going to happen after these things.
20 O mistério das sete estrelas, que viste na minha dextra, e dos sete castiçais de ouro. As sete estrelas são os anjos das sete igrejas, e os sete castiçais, que viste, são as sete igrejas.
The mystery of the seven stars that thou saw in my right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: the seven stars are agents of the seven congregations, and the seven lampstands that thou saw are the seven congregations.
