Apocalipse 22
1 E mostrou-me o rio puro da água da vida, claro como cristal, que procedia do trono de Deus e do Cordeiro.
Then he showed me the river of the Water of Life, bright as crystal, issuing from the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 No meio da sua praça, e de uma e outra banda do rio, estava a árvore da vida, que produz doze frutos, dando seu fruto de mês em mes; e as folhas da árvore são para a saúde das nações.
On either side of the river, midway between it and the main street of the city, was the Tree of Life. It produced twelve kinds of fruit, yielding a fresh crop month by month, and the leaves of the tree served as medicine for the nations.
3 E ali nunca mais haverá maldição contra alguém; e nela estará o trono de Deus e do Cordeiro, e os seus servos o servirão.
"In future there will be no curse," he said, "but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in that city. And His servants will render Him holy service and will see His face,
4 E verão o seu rosto, e nas suas testas estará o seu nome.
and His name will be on their foreheads.
5 E ali não haverá mais noite, e não necessitarão de lâmpada nem de luz do sol, porque o Senhor Deus os alumia; e reinarão para todo o sempre. (aiōn g165)
And there will be no night there; and they have no need of lamplight or sunlight, for the Lord God will shine upon them, and they will be kings until the Ages of the Ages." (aiōn g165)
6 E disse-me: Estas palavras são fieis e verdadeiras; e o Senhor, o Deus dos santos profetas, enviou o seu anjo, para mostrar aos seus servos as coisas que em breve hão de acontecer.
And he said to me, "These words are trustworthy and true; and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the Prophets, sent His angel to make known to His servants the things which must soon happen.
7 Eis aqui venho presto: bem-aventurado aquele que guarda as palavras da profecia deste livro.
'I am coming quickly.' Blessed is he who is mindful of the predictions contained in this book."
8 E eu, João, sou aquele que vi e ouvi estas coisas. E, havendo-as ouvido e visto, prostrei-me aos pés do anjo que me mostrava estas coisas, para o adorar.
I John heard and saw these things; and when I had heard and seen them, I fell at the feet of the angel who was showing me them--to worship him.
9 E disse-me: Olha não faças tal; porque eu sou conservo teu e de teus irmãos, os profetas, e dos que guardam as palavras deste livro. Adora a Deus.
But he said to me, "Oh, do not do that. I am a fellow bondservant of yours, and a fellow bondservant of your brethren the Prophets and of those who are mindful of the teachings of this book. Worship God."
10 E disse-me: Não seles as palavras deste livro; porque perto está o tempo.
"Make no secret," he added, "of the meaning of the predictions contained in this book; for the time for their fulfillment is now close at hand.
11 Quem é injusto, faça injustiça ainda; e quem é sujo, seja sujo ainda; e quem é justo, faça justiça ainda; e quem é santo, seja santificado ainda.
Let the dishonest man act dishonestly still; let the filthy make himself filthy still; let the righteous practise righteousness still; and let the holy be made holy still."
12 E, eis que, presto venho, e o meu galardão está comigo, para dar a cada um segundo a sua obra.
"I am coming quickly; and My reward is with Me, that I may requite every man in accordance with what his conduct has been.
13 Eu sou o Alpha e o Omega, o princípio e o fim, o primeiro e o derradeiro.
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
14 Bem-aventurados aqueles que lavam as suas vestiduras no sangue do Cordeiro, para que tenham direito à árvore da vida, e possam entrar na cidade pelas portas.
Blessed are those who wash their robes clean, that they may have a right to the Tree of Life, and may go through the gates into the city.
15 Porém estarão de fora os cães e os feiticeiros, e os fornicadores, e os homicidas, e os idólatras, e qualquer que ama e comete a mentira.
The unclean are shut out, and so are all who practise magic, all fornicators, all murderers, and those who worship idols, and every one who loves falsehood and tells lies.
16 Eu, Jesus, enviei o meu anjo, para vos testificar estas coisas nas igrejas: eu sou a raiz e a geração de David, a resplandecente estrela da manhã.
"I Jesus have sent My angel for him solemnly to declare these things to you among the Churches. I am the Root and the offspring of David, the bright Morning Star.
17 E o espírito e a esposa dizem: Vem. E quem o ouve, diga: Vem. E quem tem sede, venha; e quem quizer, tome de graça da água da vida.
The Spirit and the Bride say, 'Come;' and whoever hears, let him say, 'Come;' and let those who are thirsty come. Whoever will, let him take the Water of Life, without payment.
18 Porque eu testifico a todo aquele que ouvir as palavras da profecia deste livro que, se alguém lhes acrescentar alguma coisa, Deus fará vir sobre ele as pragas que estão escritas neste livro;
"I solemnly declare to every one who hears the words of the prophecy contained in this book, that if any one adds to those words, God will add to him the plagues spoken of in this book;
19 E, se alguém tirar das palavras do livro desta profecia, Deus tirará a sua parte do livro da vida, e da cidade santa, e das coisas que estão escritas neste livro.
and that if any one takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take from him his share in the Tree of Life and in the holy city--the things described in this book.
20 Aquele que testifica estas coisas diz: Certamente presto venho. amém: ora vem, Senhor Jesus.
"He who solemnly declares all this says, "'Yes, I am coming quickly.'" Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
21 A graça de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo seja com todos vós. amém.
The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people.
