1 Cantai ao Senhor um cântico novo, cantai ao Senhor toda a terra.
Sing to the LORD a new song! Sing to the LORD, all the earth.
2 Cantai ao Senhor, bendizei o seu nome; anunciai a sua salvação de dia em dia.
Sing to the LORD! Bless his name! Proclaim his salvation from day to day!
3 Anunciai entre as nações a sua glória; entre todos os povos as suas maravilhas.
Declare his glory amongst the nations, his marvellous works amongst all the peoples.
4 Porque grande é o Senhor, e digno de louvor, mais tremendo do que todos os deuses.
For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised! He is to be feared above all gods.
5 Porque todos os deuses dos povos são ídolos, mas o Senhor fez os céus.
For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but the LORD made the heavens.
6 Glória e magestade estão ante a sua face, força e formosura no seu santuário.
Honour and majesty are before him. Strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
7 Dai ao Senhor, ó famílias dos povos, dai ao Senhor glória e força.
Ascribe to the LORD, you families of nations, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
8 Dai ao Senhor a glória devida ao seu nome: trazei oferenda, e entrai nos seus átrios.
Ascribe to the LORD the glory due to his name. Bring an offering, and come into his courts.
9 Adorai ao Senhor na beleza da santidade: tremei diante dele toda a terra.
Worship the LORD in holy array. Tremble before him, all the earth.
10 Dizei entre as nações que o Senhor reina: o mundo também se firmará para que se não abale: julgará os povos com retidão.
Say amongst the nations, “The LORD reigns.” The world is also established. It can’t be moved. He will judge the peoples with equity.
11 Alegrem-se os céus, e regozije-se a terra: brama o mar e a sua plenitude.
Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice. Let the sea roar, and its fullness!
12 Alegre-se o campo com tudo o que há nele: então se regozijarão todas as árvores do bosque,
Let the field and all that is in it exult! Then all the trees of the woods shall sing for joy
13 Ante a face do Senhor, porque vem, porque vem a julgar a terra: julgará o mundo com justiça e os povos com a sua verdade.
before the LORD; for he comes, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, the peoples with his truth.
