Salmos 72
1 Ó Deus, dá ao rei dos teus juízos, e a tua justiça ao filho do rei.
A Psalme of Salomon. Give thy iudgements to the King, O God, and thy righteousnesse to the Kings sonne.
2 Ele julgará ao teu povo com justiça, e aos teus pobres com juízo.
Then shall he iudge thy people in righteousnesse, and thy poore with equitie.
3 Os montes trarão paz ao povo e os outeiros com justiça.
The mountaines and the hilles shall bring peace to the people by iustice.
4 Julgará os aflitos do povo, salvará os filhos do necessitado, e quebrantará o opressor.
He shall iudge the poore of the people: he shall saue the children of the needie, and shall subdue the oppressor.
5 Temer-te-ão enquanto durar o sol e a lua, de geração em geração.
They shall feare thee as long as the sunne and moone endureth, from generatio to generation.
6 Ele descerá como a chuva sobre a erva ceifada, como os chuveiros que humedecem a terra.
He shall come downe like the rayne vpon the mowen grasse, and as the showres that water the earth.
7 Nos seus dias florescerá o justo, e abundância de paz enquanto durar a lua.
In his dayes shall the righteous florish, and abundance of peace shalbe so long as the moone endureth.
8 Dominará de mar a mar, e desde o rio até às extremidades da terra.
His dominion shall be also from sea to sea, and from the Riuer vnto the endes of the land.
9 Aqueles que habitam no deserto se inclinarão ante ele, e os seus inimigos lamberão o pó.
They that dwell in ye wildernes, shall kneele before him, and his enemies shall licke the dust.
10 Os reis de Tarsis e das ilhas trarão presentes; os reis de Sheba e de Saba oferecerão dons.
The Kings of Tarshish and of the yles shall bring presents: the Kings of Sheba and Seba shall bring giftes.
11 E todos os reis se prostrarão perante ele; todas as nações o servirão.
Yea, all Kings shall worship him: all nations shall serue him.
12 Porque ele livrará ao necessitado quando clamar, como também ao aflito e ao que não tem quem o ajude.
For he shall deliuer the poore when he cryeth: the needie also, and him that hath no helper.
13 Compadecer-se-á do pobre e do aflito, e salvará as almas dos necessitados.
He shalbe mercifull to the poore and needie, and shall preserue the soules of the poore.
14 Libertará as suas almas do engano e da violência, e precioso será o seu sangue aos olhos dele.
He shall redeeme their soules from deceite and violence, and deare shall their blood be in his sight.
15 E viverá, e se lhe dará do ouro de Sheba; e continuamente se fará por ele oração; e todos os dias o bendirão.
Yea, he shall liue, and vnto him shall they giue of the golde of Sheba: they shall also pray for him continually, and dayly blesse him.
16 Haverá um punhado de trigo em terra sobre as cabeças dos montes; o seu fruto se abalará como o líbano, e os da cidade florescerão como a erva da terra.
An handfull of corne shall be sowen in the earth, euen in the toppe of the mountaines, and the fruite thereof shall shake like the trees of Lebanon: and the children shall florish out of the citie like the grasse of the earth.
17 O seu nome permanecerá eternamente; o seu nome se irá propagando de pais a filhos enquanto o sol durar, e os homens serão abençoados nele; todas as nações lhe chamarão bem-aventurado.
His name shall be for euer: his name shall indure as long as the sunne: all nations shall blesse him, and be blessed in him.
18 Bendito seja o Senhor Deus, o Deus de Israel, que só ele faz maravilhas.
Blessed be the Lord God, euen the God of Israel, which onely doeth wonderous things.
19 E bendito seja para sempre o seu nome glorioso; e encha-se toda a terra da sua glória. amém e amém.
And blessed be his glorious Name for euer: and let all the earth be filled with his glorie. So be it, euen so be it.
