Salmos 68
1 Levante-se Deus, e sejam dissipados os seus inimigos; fugirão de diante dele os que o aborrecem.
For the Leader. A Psalm of David, a Song. Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered; and let them that hate Him flee before Him.
2 Como se impele o fumo assim tu os impeles; assim como a cera se derrete diante do fogo, assim pereçam os ímpios diante de Deus.
As smoke is driven away, so drive them away; as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
3 Mas alegrem-se os justos, e se regozijem na presença de Deus, e folguem de alegria.
But let the righteous be glad, let them exult before God; yea, let them rejoice with gladness.
4 Cantai a Deus, cantai louvores ao seu nome; louvai aquele que vai montado sobre os céus, pois o seu nome é Jah, e exultai diante dele.
Sing unto God, sing praises to His name; extol Him that rideth upon the skies, whose name is the LORD; and exult ye before Him.
5 Pai de órfãos e juiz de viúvas é Deus, no seu lugar santo.
A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in His holy habitation.
6 Deus faz que o solitário viva em família: liberta aqueles que estão presos em grilhões; mas os rebeldes habitam em terra seca.
God maketh the solitary to dwell in a house; He bringeth out the prisoners into prosperity; the rebellious dwell but in a parched land.
7 Ó Deus, quando saías diante do teu povo, quando caminhavas pelo deserto, (Selah)
O God, when Thou wentest forth before Thy people, when Thou didst march through the wilderness; (Selah)
8 A terra se abalava, e os céus destilavam perante a face de Deus; até o próprio Sinai foi comovido na presença de Deus, do Deus de Israel.
The earth trembled, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God; even yon Sinai trembled at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
9 Tu, ó Deus, mandaste a chuva em abundância, confortaste a tua herança, quando estava cançada.
A bounteous rain didst Thou pour down, O God; when Thine inheritance was weary, Thou didst confirm it.
10 Nela habitava o teu rebanho; tu, ó Deus, preparaste na tua bondade para o pobre.
Thy flock settled therein; Thou didst prepare in Thy goodness for the poor, O God.
11 O Senhor deu a palavra: grande era o exército dos que anunciavam as boas novas.
The Lord giveth the word; the women that proclaim the tidings are a great host.
12 Reis de exércitos fugiram à pressa; e aquela que ficava em casa repartia os despojos.
Kings of armies flee, they flee; and she that tarrieth at home divideth the spoil.
13 Ainda que vos tenhais deitado entre panelas, contudo sereis como as asas de uma pomba, cobertas de prata, e as suas penas de ouro amarelo.
When ye lie among the sheepfolds, the wings of the dove are covered with silver, and her pinions with the shimmer of gold.
14 Quando o onipotente ali espalhou os reis, ela ficou alva como a neve em Salmon.
When the Almighty scattereth kings therein, it snoweth in Zalmon.
15 O monte de Deus é como o monte de Basan, um monte elevado como o monte de Basan.
A mountain of God is the mountain of Bashan; a mountain of peaks is the mountain of Bashan.
16 Porque saltais, ó montes elevados? este é o monte que Deus desejou para a sua habitação, e o Senhor habitará nele eternamente.
Why look ye askance, ye mountains of peaks, at the mountain which God hath desired for His abode? Yea, the LORD will dwell therein for ever.
17 Os carros de Deus são vinte milhares, milhares de milhares. O Senhor está entre eles, como em Sinai, no lugar santo.
The chariots of God are myriads, even thousands upon thousands; the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in holiness.
18 Tu subiste ao alto, levaste cativo o cativeiro, recebeste dons para os homens, e até para os rebeldes, para que o Senhor Deus habitasse entre eles.
Thou hast ascended on high, Thou hast led captivity captive; Thou hast received gifts among men, yea, among the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell there.
19 Bendito seja o Senhor, que de dia em dia nos carrega de benefícios: o Deus que é a nossa salvação (Selah)
Blessed be the Lord, day by day He beareth our burden, even the God who is our salvation. (Selah)
20 Aquele que é o nosso Deus é o Deus da salvação; e a Jehovah, o Senhor, pertencem as saídas da morte.
God is unto us a God of deliverances; and unto GOD the Lord belong the issues of death.
21 Mas Deus ferirá gravemente a cabeça de seus inimigos e o crâneo cabeludo do que anda em suas culpas.
Surely God will smite through the head of His enemies, the hairy scalp of him that goeth about in his guiltiness.
22 Disse o Senhor: Eu os farei voltar de Basan, farei voltar o meu povo das profundezas do mar.
The Lord said: 'I will bring back from Bashan, I will bring them back from the depths of the sea;
23 Para que o teu pé mergulhe no sangue de teus inimigos, e no mesmo a língua dos teus cães.
That thy foot may wade through blood, that the tongue of thy dogs may have its portion from thine enemies.'
24 Ó Deus, eles tem visto os teus caminhos; os caminhos do meu Deus, meu Rei, no santuário.
They see Thy goings, O God, even the goings of my God, my King, in holiness.
25 Os cantores iam adiante, os tocadores de instrumentos atráz; entre eles as donzelas tocando adufes.
The singers go before, the minstrels follow after, in the midst of damsels playing upon timbrels.
26 Celebrai a Deus nas congregações; ao Senhor, desde a fonte de Israel.
'Bless ye God in full assemblies, even the Lord, ye that are from the fountain of Israel.'
27 Ali está o pequeno Benjamin, que domina sobre eles, os príncipes de Judá com o seu ajuntamento, os príncipes de Zabulon e os príncipes de Naphtali.
There is Benjamin, the youngest, ruling them, the princes of Judah their council, the princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali.
28 O teu Deus ordenou a tua força: fortalece, ó Deus, o que já obraste para nós.
Thy God hath commanded thy strength; be strong, O God, Thou that hast wrought for us
29 Por amor do teu templo em Jerusalém, os reis te trarão presentes.
Out of Thy temple at Jerusalem, whither kings shall bring presents unto Thee.
30 Repreende asperamente as feras das canas, a multidão dos touros, com os novilhos dos povos, até que cada um se submeta com pedaços de prata; dissipa os povos que desejam a guerra.
Rebuke the wild beast of the reeds, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the peoples, every one submitting himself with pieces of silver; He hath scattered the peoples that delight in war!
31 Embaixadores reais virão do Egito; a Ethiopia cedo estenderá para Deus as suas mãos.
Nobles shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall hasten to stretch out her hands unto God.
32 Reinos da terra, cantai a Deus, cantai louvores ao Senhor (Selah)
Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord; (Selah)
33 Àquele que vai montado sobre os céus dos céus, que existiam desde a antiguidade; eis que envia a sua voz, dá um brado veemente.
To Him that rideth upon the heavens of heavens, which are of old; lo, He uttereth His voice, a mighty voice.
34 Dai a Deus fortaleza: a sua excelência está sobre Israel e a sua fortaleza nas mais altas nuvens.
Ascribe ye strength unto God; His majesty is over Israel, and His strength is in the skies.
35 Ó Deus, tu és tremendo desde os teus santuários: o Deus de Israel é o que dá fortaleza e poder ao seu povo. bendito seja Deus!
Awful is God out of thy holy places; the God of Israel, He giveth strength and power unto the people; blessed be God.
