Salmos 66
1 Jubilai a Deus, todas as terras.
For the Leader. A Song, a Psalm. Shout unto God, all the earth;
2 Cantai a glória do seu nome; dai glória ao seu louvor.
Sing praises unto the glory of His name; make His praise glorious.
3 Dizei a Deus: Quão terrível és tu nas tuas obras! pela grandeza do teu poder se submeterão a ti os teus inimigos.
Say unto God: 'How tremendous is Thy work! Through the greatness of Thy power shall Thine enemies dwindle away before Thee.
4 Toda a terra te adorará e te cantará louvores: eles cantarão o teu nome (Selah)
All the earth shall worship Thee, and shall sing praises unto Thee; they shall sing praises to Thy name.' (Selah)
5 Vinde, e vede as obras de Deus: é terrível nos seus feitos para com os filhos dos homens.
Come, and see the works of God; He is terrible in His doing toward the children of men.
6 Converteu o mar em terra seca; passaram o rio a pé; ali nos alegramos nele.
He turned the sea into dry land; they went through the river on foot; there let us rejoice in Him!
7 Ele domina eternamente pelo seu poder: os seus olhos estão sobre as nações; não se exaltem os rebeldes (Selah)
Who ruleth by His might for ever; His eyes keep watch upon the nations; let not the rebellious exalt themselves. (Selah)
8 Bendizei, povos, ao nosso Deus, e fazei ouvir a voz do seu louvor:
Bless our God, ye peoples, and make the voice of His praise to be heard;
9 Ao que sustenta com vida a nossa alma, e não consente que sejam abalados os nossos pés.
Who hath set our soul in life, and suffered not our foot to be moved,
10 Pois tu, ó Deus, nos provaste; tu nos afinaste como se afina a prata.
For Thou, O God, hast tried us; Thou hast refined us, as silver is refined.
11 Tu nos meteste na rede; afligiste os nossos lombos.
Thou didst bring us into the hold; Thou didst lay constraint upon our loins.
12 Fizeste com que os homens cavalgassem sobre as nossas cabeças; passamos pelo fogo e pela água; mas nos trouxeste a um lugar copioso.
Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water; but Thou didst bring us out unto abundance.
13 Entrarei em tua casa com holocaustos; pagar-te-ei os meus votos.
I will come into Thy house with burnt-offerings, I will perform unto Thee my vows,
14 Os quais pronunciaram os meus lábios, e falou a minha boca, quando estava na angústia.
Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was in distress.
15 Oferecer-te-ei holocaustos gordurosos com incenso de carneiros; oferecerei novilhos com cabritos (Selah)
I will offer unto Thee burnt-offerings of fatlings, with the sweet smoke of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. (Selah)
16 Vinde, e ouvi, todos os que temeis a Deus, e eu contarei o que ele tem feito à minha alma.
Come, and hearken, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what He hath done for my soul.
17 A ele clamei com a minha boca, e ele foi exaltado pela minha língua.
I cried unto Him with my mouth, and He was extolled with my tongue.
18 Se eu atender à iniquidade no meu coração, o Senhor não me ouvirá;
If I had regarded iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not hear;
19 Mas, na verdade, Deus me ouviu; atendeu à voz da minha oração.
But verily God hath heard; He hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
20 Bendito seja Deus, que não rejeitou a minha oração, nem desviou de mim a sua misericórdia.
Blessed be God, who hath not turned away my prayer, nor His mercy from me.
