Salmos 25
1 A ti, Senhor, levanto a minha alma.
A Psalm of David. Unto Thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.
2 Deus meu, em ti confio, não me deixes confundido, nem que os meus inimigos triunfem sobre mim.
O my God, in Thee have I trusted, let me not be ashamed; let not mine enemies triumph over me.
3 Como, na verdade, não serão confundidos os que esperam em ti; confundidos serão os que transgridem sem causa.
Yea, none that wait for Thee shall be ashamed; they shall be ashamed that deal treacherously without cause.
4 Faz-me saber os teus caminhos, Senhor; ensina-me as tuas veredas.
Show me Thy ways, O LORD; teach me Thy paths.
5 Guia-me na tua verdade, e ensina-me, pois tu és o Deus da minha salvação; por ti estou esperando todo o dia.
Guide me in Thy truth, and teach me; for Thou art the God of my salvation; for Thee do I wait all the day.
6 Lembra-te, Senhor, das tuas misericórdias e das tuas benignidades, porque são desde a eternidade.
Remember, O LORD, Thy compassions and Thy mercies; for they have been from of old.
7 Não te lembres dos pecados da minha mocidade, nem das minhas transgressões: mas segundo a tua misericórdia, lembra-te de mim, por tua bondade, Senhor.
Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; according to Thy mercy remember Thou me, for Thy goodness' sake, O LORD.
8 Bom e reto é o Senhor: pelo que ensinará o caminho aos pecadores.
Good and upright is the LORD; therefore doth He instruct sinners in the way.
9 Guiará os mansos em direitura: e aos mansos ensinará o seu caminho.
He guideth The humble in justice; and He teacheth the humble His way.
10 Todas as veredas do Senhor são misericórdia e verdade para aqueles que guardam o seu concerto e os seus testemunhos.
All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep His covenant and His testimonies.
11 Por amor do teu nome, Senhor, perdoa a minha iniquidade, pois é grande.
For Thy name's sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity, for it is great.
12 Qual é o homem que teme ao Senhor? ele o ensinará no caminho que deve escolher.
What man is he that feareth the LORD? him will He instruct in the way that He should choose.
13 A sua alma pousará no bem, e a sua semente herdará a terra.
His soul shall abide in prosperity; and his seed shall inherit the land.
14 O segredo do Senhor é com aqueles que o temem; e ele lhes mostrará o seu concerto.
The counsel of the LORD is with them that fear Him; and His covenant, to make them know it.
15 Os meus olhos estão continuamente no Senhor, pois ele tirará os meus pés da rede.
Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for He will bring forth my feet out of the net.
16 Olha para mim, e tem piedade de mim, porque estou solitário e aflito.
Turn Thee unto me, and be gracious unto me; for I am solitary and afflicted.
17 As ancias do meu coração se tem multiplicado: tira-me dos meus apertos.
The troubles of my heart are enlarged; O bring Thou me out of my distresses.
18 Olha para a minha aflição e para a minha dor, e perdoa todos os meus pecados.
See mine affliction and my travail; and forgive all my sins.
19 Olha para os meus inimigos, pois se vão multiplicando e me aborrecem com ódio cruel.
Consider how many are mine enemies, and the cruel hatred wherewith they hate me.
20 Guarda a minha alma, e livra-me; não me deixes confundido, porquanto confio em ti.
O keep my soul, and deliver me; let me not be ashamed, for I have taken refuge in Thee.
21 Guardem-me a sinceridade e a direitura, porquanto espero em ti.
Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, because I wait for Thee.
22 Redime, ó Deus, a Israel de todas as suas angústias.
Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.
