Salmos 24

1 Do Senhor é a terra e a sua plenitude, o mundo e aqueles que nele habitam.

David’s. A Melody. To Yahweh, belongeth, The earth and the fulness thereof, The world, and they who dwell therein;

2 Porque ele a fundou sobre os mares, e a firmou sobre os rios.

For, he, upon the seas, hath founded it, and upon the currents, doth make it firm.

3 Quem subirá ao monte do Senhor, ou quem estará no seu lugar santo?

Who shall ascend the mountain of Yahweh? And who shall stand in his holy place?

4 Aquele que é limpo de mãos e puro de coração, que não entrega a sua alma à vaidade, nem jura enganosamente,

The clean of hands, and pure of heart, —who hath not uplifted, to falsehood, his soul, nor sworn deceitfully,

5 Este receberá a benção do Senhor e a justiça do Deus da sua salvação.

Shall bear away a blessing from Yahweh, and righteousness, from his delivering God.

6 Esta é a geração daqueles que buscam, daqueles que buscam a tua face, ó Deus de Jacob (Selah)

This, is the generation of them who inquire of him, who seek thy face, O God of Jacob. (Selah)

7 Levantai, ó portas, as vossas cabeças; levantai-vos ó entradas eternas, e entrará o Rei da glória.

Lift up, O ye gates, your heads, and lift yourselves up, ye age-abiding doors, That the king of glory may come in.

8 Quem é este Rei da glória? O Senhor forte e poderoso, o Senhor poderoso na guerra.

Who is the king of glory? Yahweh, strong and mighty, Yahweh, mighty in war.

9 Levantai, ó portas, as vossas cabeças, levantai-vos ó entradas eternas, e entrará o Rei da glória.

Lift up, O ye gates, your heads, yea lift [them] up, ye age-abiding doors, That the king of glory may come in.

10 Quem é este Rei da glória? O Senhor dos exércitos, ele é o Rei da glória (Selah)

Who then is the king of glory? Yahweh of hosts, He, is the king of glory. (Selah)
