Salmos 135
1 Louvai ao Senhor. louvai o nome do Senhor; louvai-o, servos do Senhor.
Praise Yah. Praise ye the name of Yhwh; praise him, O ye servants of Yhwh.
2 Vós que assistis na casa do Senhor, nos átrios da casa do nosso Deus.
Ye that stand in the house of Yhwh, in the courts of the house of our God,
3 Louvai ao Senhor, porque o Senhor é bom: cantai louvores ao seu nome, porque é agradável.
Praise Yah; for Yhwh is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.
4 Porque o Senhor escolheu para si a Jacob, e a Israel para seu próprio tesouro.
For Yah hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.
5 Porque eu conheço que o Senhor é grande e que o nosso Deus está acima de todos os deuses.
For I know that Yhwh is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.
6 Tudo o que o Senhor quis fez, nos céus e na terra, nos mares e em todos os abismos.
Whatsoever Yhwh pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.
7 Faz subir os vapores das extremidades da terra; faz os relâmpagos para a chuva; produz os ventos dos seus tesouros.
He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.
8 O que feriu os primogênitos do Egito, desde os homens até às bestas.
Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.
9 O que enviou sinais e prodígios no meio de ti, ó Egito, contra faraó e contra os seus servos.
Who sent signs and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.
10 O que feriu muitas nações, e matou poderosos reis;
Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;
11 A Sehon, rei dos amorreus, e a Og, rei de Basan, e a todos os reinos de Canaan.
Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:
12 E deu a sua terra em herança, em herança a Israel, seu povo.
And gave their land for an heritage, an heritage unto Israel his people.
13 O teu nome, ó Senhor, dura perpetuamente; e a tua memória, ó Senhor, de geração em geração.
Thy name, O Yhwh, endureth for ever; and thy memorial, O Yhwh, throughout all generations.
14 Pois o Senhor julgará o seu povo, e se arrependerá com respeito aos seus servos.
For Yhwh will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.
15 Os ídolos das nações são prata e ouro, obra das mãos dos homens.
The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.
16 Tem boca, mas não falam; tem olhos, e não veem.
They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;
17 Tem ouvidos, mas não ouvem, nem há respiro algum nas suas bocas.
They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths.
18 Semelhantes a eles se tornem os que os fazem, e todos os que confiam neles.
They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them.
19 Casa de Israel, bendizei ao Senhor; casa de Aarão bendizei ao Senhor.
Bless Yhwh, O house of Israel: bless Yhwh, O house of Aaron:
20 Casa de Levi, bendizei ao Senhor: vós, os que temeis ao Senhor, louvai ao Senhor.
Bless Yhwh, O house of Levi: ye that fear Yhwh, bless Yhwh.
21 Bendito seja o Senhor desde Sião, que habita em Jerusalém. louvai ao Senhor.
Blessed be Yhwh out of Zion, which dwelleth at Jerusalem. Hallelu jah.
