Salmos 128

1 Bem-aventurado aquele que teme ao Senhor e anda nos seus caminhos.

Blessed are all they that fear the Lord: that walk in his ways.

2 Pois comerás do trabalho das tuas mãos: feliz serás, e te irá bem

For thou shalt eat the labours of thy hands: blessed art thou, and it shall be well with thee.

3 A tua mulher será como a videira frutífera aos lados da tua casa, os teus filhos como plantas de oliveira à roda da tua mesa.

Thy wife as a fruitful vine, on the sides of thy house.

4 Eis que assim será abençoado o homem que teme ao Senhor.

Behold, thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord.

5 O Senhor te abençoará desde Sião, e tu verás os bens de Jerusalém em todos os dias da tua vida.

May the Lord bless thee out of Sion: and mayest thou see the good things of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.

6 E verás os filhos de teus filhos, e a paz sobre Israel.

And mayest thou see thy children’s children, peace upon Israel.
