Salmos 109
1 Ó Deus do meu louvor, não te cales,
To him that excelleth. A Psalme of David. Holde not thy tongue, O God of my praise.
2 Pois a boca do ímpio e a boca do enganador estão abertas contra mim: tem falado contra mim com uma língua mentirosa.
For the mouth of the wicked, and the mouth full of deceite are opened vpon me: they haue spoken to me with a lying tongue.
3 Eles me cercaram com palavras odiosas, e pelejaram contra mim sem causa.
They compassed me about also with words of hatred, and fought against me without a cause.
4 Em recompensa do meu amor são meus adversários: mas eu faço oração.
For my friendship they were mine aduersaries, but I gaue my selfe to praier.
5 E me deram mal pelo bem, e ódio pelo meu amor.
And they haue rewarded me euil for good, and hatred for my friendship.
6 Põe sobre ele um ímpio, e Satanás esteja à sua direita.
Set thou the wicked ouer him, and let the aduersarie stand at his right hand.
7 Quando for julgado, saia condenado; e a sua oração se lhe torne em pecado.
Whe he shalbe iudged, let him be condemned, and let his praier be turned into sinne.
8 Sejam poucos os seus dias, e outro tome o seu ofício.
Let his daies be fewe, and let another take his charge.
9 Sejam órfãos os seus filhos, e viúva sua mulher.
Let his children be fatherlesse, and his wife a widowe.
10 Sejam vagabundos e pedintes os seus filhos, e busquem o pão dos seus lugares desolados.
Let his children be vagabonds and beg and seeke bread, comming out of their places destroyed.
11 Lance o credor a mão a tudo quanto tenha, e despojem os estranhos o seu trabalho.
Let the extortioner catch al that he hath, and let the strangers spoile his labour.
12 Não haja ninguém que se compadeça dele, nem haja quem favoreça os seus órfãos.
Let there be none to extend mercie vnto him: neither let there be any to shewe mercie vpon his fatherlesse children.
13 Desapareça a sua posteridade, o seu nome seja apagado na seguinte geração.
Let his posteritie be destroied, and in the generation following let their name be put out.
14 Esteja na memória do Senhor a iniquidade de seus pais, e não se apague o pecado de sua mãe.
Let the iniquitie of his fathers bee had in remembrance with the Lord: and let not the sinne of his mother be done away.
15 Antes estejam sempre perante o Senhor, para que faça desaparecer a sua memória da terra.
But let them alway be before the Lord, that he may cut off their memorial from ye earth.
16 Porquanto não se lembrou de fazer misericórdia; antes perseguiu ao varão aflito e ao necessitado, para que pudesse até matar o quebrantado de coração.
Because he remembred not to shew mercie, but persecuted the afflicted and poore man, and the sorowfull hearted to slay him.
17 Visto que amou a maldição, ela lhe sobrevenha, e assim como não desejou a benção, ela se afaste dele.
As he loued cursing, so shall it come vnto him, and as he loued not blessing, so shall it be farre from him.
18 Assim como se vestiu de maldição, como dum vestido, assim penetre ela nas suas entranhas como água, e em seus ossos como azeite.
As he clothed himselfe with cursing like a rayment, so shall it come into his bowels like water, and like oyle into his bones.
19 Seja para ele como o vestido que o cobre, e como cinto que o cinja sempre.
Let it be vnto him as a garment to couer him, and for a girdle, wherewith he shalbe alway girded.
20 Seja este o galardão dos meus contrários, da parte do Senhor, e dos que falam mal contra a minha alma.
Let this be the rewarde of mine aduersarie from the Lord, and of them, that speake euill against my soule.
21 Mas tu, Deus Senhor, trata comigo por amor do teu nome, porque a tua misericórdia é boa; livra-me,
But thou, O Lord my God, deale with me according vnto thy Name: deliuer me, (for thy mercie is good)
22 Pois estou aflito e necessitado, e o meu coração está ferido dentro de mim.
Because I am poore and needie, and mine heart is wounded within me.
23 Vou-me como a sombra que declina; sou sacudido como o gafanhoto.
I depart like the shadowe that declineth, and am shaken off as the grashopper.
24 De jejuar estão enfraquecidos os meus joelhos, e a minha carne emagrece.
My knees are weake through fasting, and my flesh hath lost all fatnes.
25 E ainda lhes sou opróbrio; quando me contemplam, movem as cabeças.
I became also a rebuke vnto them: they that looked vpon me, shaked their heads.
26 Ajuda-me, Senhor Deus meu, salva-me segundo a tua misericórdia.
Helpe me, O Lord my God: saue me according to thy mercie.
27 Para que saibam que esta é a tua mão, e que tu, Senhor, o fizeste.
And they shall know, that this is thine hand, and that thou, Lord, hast done it.
28 Amaldiçoem eles, mas abençoa tu: quando se levantarem fiquem confundidos; e alegre-se o teu servo.
Though they curse, yet thou wilt blesse: they shall arise and be confounded, but thy seruant shall reioyce.
29 Vistam-se os meus adversários de vergonha, e cubram-se com a sua própria confusão como com uma capa.
Let mine aduersaries be clothed with shame, and let them couer themselues with their confusion, as with a cloke.
30 Louvarei grandemente ao Senhor com a minha boca: louva-lo-ei entre a multidão.
I will giue thankes vnto the Lord greatly with my mouth and praise him among ye multitude.
31 Pois se porá à mão direita do pobre, para o livrar dos que condenam a sua alma.
For he will stand at the right hand of the poore, to saue him from them that woulde condemne his soule.
