Salmos 108
1 Preparado está o meu coração, ó Deus; cantarei e direi salmos até com a minha glória.
Song of a Psalm by David. O God, my heart is ready, my heart is ready; I will sing and sing psalms with my glory.
2 Desperta-te, saltério e harpa; eu mesmo despertarei ao romper da alva.
Awake, psaltery and harp; I will awake early.
3 Louvar-te-ei entre os povos, Senhor, e a ti cantarei salmos entre as nações.
I will give thanks to thee, O Lord, among the people; I will sing praise to thee among the Gentiles.
4 Porque a tua benignidade se estende até aos céus, e a tua verdade chega até às mais altas nuvens.
For thy mercy is great above the heavens, and thy truth [reaches] to the clouds.
5 Exalta-te sobre os céus, ó Deus, e a tua glória sobre toda a terra,
Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; and thy glory above all the earth.
6 Para que sejam livres os teus amados: salva-nos com a tua dextra, e ouve-nos.
That thy beloved [ones] may be delivered, save with thy right hand, and hear me. God has spoken in his sanctuary;
7 Deus falou na sua santidade: eu me regozijarei; repartirei a Sichem, e medirei o vale de Succoth.
I will be exalted, and will divide Sicima, and will measure out the valley of tents.
8 Meu é Galaad, meu é Manassés; e Ephraim a força da minha cabeça, Judá o meu legislador,
Galaad is mine; and Manasses is mine; and Ephraim is the help of mine head; Judas is my king;
9 Moab o meu vaso de lavar: sobre Edom lançarei o meu sapato, sobre a Palestina jubilarei.
Moab is the caldron of my hope; over Idumea will I cast my sandal; the Philistines are made subject to me.
10 Quem me levará à cidade forte? Quem me guiará até Edom?
Who will bring me into the fortified city? or who will guide me to Idumea?
11 Porventura não serás tu, ó Deus, que nos rejeitaste? E não sairás, ó Deus, com os nossos exércitos?
Wilt not thou, O God, who hast rejected us? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?
12 Dá-nos auxílio para sair da angústia, porque vão é o socorro da parte do homem.
Give us help from tribulation: for vain is the help of man.
13 Em Deus faremos proezas, pois ele calcará aos pés os nossos inimigos.
Through God we shall do valiantly; and he will bring to nought our enemies.
