Salmos 103
1 Bendize, ó alma minha ao Senhor, e tudo o que há em mim, bendiga o seu santo nome.
For David himself. Bless the Lord, O my soul: and let all that is within me bless his holy name.
2 Bendize, ó alma minha, ao Senhor, e não te esqueças de nenhum de seus benefícios.
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and never forget all he hath done for thee.
3 O que perdôa todas as tuas iniquidades, que sara todas as tuas enfermidades,
Who forgiveth all thy iniquities: who healeth all thy diseases.
4 Que redime a tua vida da perdição; que te coroa de benignidade e de misericórdia,
Who redeemeth thy life from destruction: who crowneth thee with mercy and compassion.
5 Que farta a tua boca de bens, de sorte que a tua mocidade se renove como a da águia.
Who satisfieth thy desire with good things: thy youth shall be renewed like the eagle’s.
6 O Senhor faz justiça e juízo a todos os oprimidos.
The Lord doth mercies, and judgment for all that suffer wrong.
7 Fez conhecidos os seus caminhos a Moisés, e os seus feitos aos filhos de Israel.
He hath made his ways known to Moses: his wills to the children of Israel.
8 Misericordioso e piedoso é o Senhor; longânimo e grande em benignidade.
The ford is compassionate and merciful: longsuffering and plenteous in mercy.
9 Não reprovará perpetuamente, nem para sempre reterá a sua ira.
He will not always be angry: nor will he threaten for ever.
10 Não nos tratou segundo os nossos pecados, nem nos recompensou segundo as nossas iniquidades.
He hath not dealt with us according to our sins: nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11 Pois assim como o céu está elevado acima da terra, assim é grande a sua misericórdia para com os que o temem.
For according to the height of the heaven above the earth: he hath strengthened his mercy towards them that fear him.
12 Assim como está longe o oriente do ocidente, assim afasta de nós as nossas transgressões.
As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our iniquities from us.
13 Assim como um pai se compadece de seus filhos, assim o Senhor se compadece daqueles que o temem.
As a father hath compassion on his children, so hath the Lord compassion on them that fear him:
14 Pois ele conhece a nossa estrutura, lembra-se de que somos pó.
For he knoweth our frame. He remembereth that we are dust:
15 Enquanto ao homem, os seus dias são como a erva, como a flor do campo assim floresce.
Man’s days are as grass, as the flower of the field so shall he flourish.
16 Passando por ela o vento, logo se vai, e o seu lugar não será mais conhecido.
For the spirit shall pass in him, and he shall not be: and he shall know his place no more.
17 Mas a misericórdia do Senhor é desde a eternidade e até à eternidade sobre aqueles que o temem, e a sua justiça sobre os filhos dos filhos;
But the mercy of the Lord is from eternity and unto eternity upon them that fear him: And his justice unto children’s children,
18 Sobre aqueles que guardam o seu concerto, e sobre os que se lembram dos seus mandamentos para os cumprirem.
To such as keep his covenant, And are mindful of his commandments to do them.
19 O Senhor tem estabelecido o seu trono nos céus, e o seu reino domina sobre tudo.
The Lord hath prepared his throne in heaven: and his kingdom shall rule over all.
20 Bendizei ao Senhor, todos os seus anjos, vós que excedeis em força, que guardais os seus mandamentos, obedecendo à voz da sua palavra.
Bless the Lord, all ye his angels: you that are mighty in strength, and execute his word, hearkening to the voice of his orders.
21 Bendizei ao Senhor, todos os seus exércitos, vós, ministros seus, que executais o seu beneplácito.
Bless the Lord, all ye his hosts: you ministers of his that do his will.
22 Bendizei ao Senhor, todas as suas obras, em todos os lugares do seu domínio; bendize, ó alma minha, ao Senhor.
Bless the Lord, all his works: in every place of his dominion, O my soul, bless thou the Lord.
