Números 23
1 Então Balaão disse a Balac: Edifica-me aqui sete altares, e prepara-me aqui sete bezerros e sete carneiros.
And he said Balaam to Balak build for me in this [place] seven altars and prepare for me in this [place] seven young bulls and seven rams.
2 Fez pois Balac como Balaão dissera: e Balac e Balaão ofereceram um bezerro e um carneiro sobre cada altar.
And he did Balak just as he had spoken Balaam and he offered up Balak and Balaam a young bull and a ram on the altar.
3 Então Balaão disse a Balac: Fica-te ao pé do teu holocausto, e eu irei; porventura o Senhor me sairá ao encontro, e o que me mostrar te notificarei. Então foi a um alto
And he said Balaam to Balak take your stand with burnt offering your so let me go perhaps he will meet Yahweh to meet me and [the] word of whatever he will show me and I will tell to you and he went a bare height.
4 E, encontrando-se Deus com Balaão, lhe disse este: Preparei sete altares, e ofereci um bezerro e um carneiro sobre cada altar.
And he met God Balaam and he said to him [the] seven the altars I have arranged and I have offered up a young bull and a ram on the altar.
5 Então o Senhor pôs a palavra na boca de Balaão, e disse: Torna-te para Balac, e fala assim.
And he put Yahweh a word in [the] mouth of Balaam and he said return to Balak and thus you will speak.
6 E, tornando para ele, eis que estava ao pé do seu holocausto, ele e todos os príncipes dos moabitas.
And he returned to him and there! [he was] standing with burnt offering his he and all [the] leaders of Moab.
7 Então alçou a sua parábola, e disse: Da Síria me mandou trazer Balac, rei dos moabitas, das montanhas do oriente, dizendo: Vem, amaldiçoa-me a Jacob; e vem, detesta a Israel.
And he lifted up oracle his and he said from Aram he led me Balak [the] king of Moab from [the] mountains of [the] east come! curse! for me Jacob and come! denounce! Israel.
8 Como amaldiçoarei o que Deus não amaldiçoa? e como detestarei, quando o Senhor não detesta?
What? will I curse [one whom] not he has cursed him God and what? will I denounce [one whom] not he has denounced Yahweh.
9 Porque do cume das penhas o vejo, e dos outeiros o contemplo: eis que este povo habitará só, e entre as gentes não será contado.
For from [the] top of [the] rocks I see him and from [the] hills I observe him there! a people [which] alone it dwells and among the nations not it reckons itself.
10 Quem contará o pó de Jacob e o número da quarta parte de Israel? a minha alma morra da morte dos justos, e seja o meu fim como o seu.
Who? has he counted [the] dust of Jacob and a number [the] fourth part of Israel let it die self my [the] death of upright [people] and let it be end my like his.
11 Então disse Balac a Balaão: Que me fizeste? chamei-te para amaldiçoar os meus inimigos, mas eis que inteiramente os abençoaste.
And he said Balak to Balaam what? have you done to me to curse enemies my I took you and here! you have blessed actually.
12 E ele respondeu, e disse: Porventura não terei cuidado de falar o que o Senhor pôs na minha boca?
And he answered and he said ¿ not [that] which he will put Yahweh in mouth my it will I take care to speak.
13 Então Balac lhe disse: Rogo-te que venhas comigo a outro lugar, de onde o verás; verás somente a última parte dele, mas a todo ele não verás: e amaldiçoa-mo dali.
And he said to him Balak (come there! *Q(K)*) please with me to a place another where you will see it from there only outskirt[s] its you will see and all of it not you will see and curse it for me from there.
14 Assim o tomou consigo ao campo de Zophim, ao cume de Pisga: e edificou sete altares, e ofereceu um bezerro e um carneiro sobre cada altar.
And he took him [the] field of Zophim to [the] top of Pisgah and he built seven altars and he offered up a young bull and a ram on the altar.
15 Então disse a Balac: Fica aqui ao pé do teu holocausto, e eu irei ali ao seu encontro.
And he said to Balak take your stand thus with burnt offering your and I I will meet thus.
16 E, encontrando-se o Senhor com Balaão, pôs uma palavra na sua boca, e disse: Torna para Balac, e fala assim.
And he met Yahweh Balaam and he put a word in mouth his and he said return to Balak and thus you will speak.
17 E, vindo a ele, eis que estava ao pé do holocausto, e os príncipes dos moabitas com ele: disse-lhe pois Balac: Que coisa falou o Senhor?
And he went to him and there he [was] standing with burnt offering his and [the] leaders of Moab [were] with him and he said to him Balak what? has he spoken Yahweh.
18 Então alçou a sua parábola, e disse: Levanta-te, Balac, e ouve: inclina os teus ouvidos a mim, filho de Zippor.
And he lifted up oracle his and he said arise O Balak and hear give ear! to me [O] son his Zippor.
19 Deus não é homem, para que minta; nem filho do homem, para que se arrependa: porventura diria ele, e não o faria? ou falaria, e não o confirmaria?
Not [is] a human God so he may lie and a son of humankind so he may change his mind ¿ he has he said and not will he act? and has he spoken? and not will he fulfill? it.
20 Eis que recebi mandado de abençoar: pois ele tem abençoado, e eu não o posso revogar.
Here! [surely] blessing I have received and he has blessed and not I will turn back it.
21 Não viu iniquidade em Israel, nem contemplou maldade em Jacob: o Senhor seu Deus é com ele, e nele, e entre eles se ouve o alarido dum rei.
Not he has looked at disaster in Jacob and not he has seen trouble in Israel Yahweh God his [is] with him and a shout of a king [is] among him.
22 Deus os tirou do Egito; as suas forças são como as do unicórnio.
God [is] bringing out them from Egypt like [the] horns of a wild ox [belong] to him.
23 Pois contra Jacob não vale encantamento, nem adivinhação contra Israel: neste tempo se dirá de Jacob e de Israel: Que coisas Deus tem obrado!
For not enchantment [is] in Jacob and not divination [is] in Israel about this time it will be said of Jacob and of Israel what! has he done God.
24 Eis que o povo se levantará como leoa, e se exalçará como leão: não se deitará até que coma a presa, e beba o sangue de mortos
There! a people like a lion it rises and like a lion it lifts itself up not it will lie down until it will devour prey and [the] blood of [those] slain it will drink.
25 Então Balac disse a Balaão: Nem totalmente o amaldiçoarás, nem totalmente o abençoarás.
And he said Balak to Balaam neither at all not you will curse it nor at all not you will bless it.
26 Porém Balaão respondeu, e disse a Balac: Não te falei eu, dizendo: Tudo o que o Senhor falar aquilo farei?
And he answered Balaam and he said to Balak ¿ not did I speak to you saying all that he will speak Yahweh it I will do.
27 Disse mais Balac a Balaão: Ora vem, e te levarei a outro lugar: porventura bem parecerá aos olhos de Deus que dali mo amaldiçoes.
And he said Balak to Balaam come! please let me take you to a place another perhaps it will be pleasing in [the] eyes of God and you will curse it for me from there.
28 Então Balac levou Balaão consigo ao cume de Peor, que olha para a banda do deserto.
And he took Balak Balaam [the] top of Peor which looks down over [the] face of the desolate place.
29 Balaão disse a Balac: Edifica-me aqui sete altares, e prepara-me aqui sete bezerros e sete carneiros.
And he said Balaam to Balak build for me in this [place] seven altars and prepare for me in this [place] seven young bulls and seven rams.
30 Balac pois fez como dissera Balaão; e ofereceu um bezerro e um carneiro sobre cada altar.
And he did Balak just as he had said Balaam and he offered up a young bull and a ram on the altar.
