Números 12
1 E falaram Miriam e Aarão contra Moisés, por causa da mulher cushita, que tomara: porquanto tinha tomado a mulher cushita.
Afterward Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses, because of the woman of Ethiopia whome hee had maried (for hee had married a woman of Ethiopia)
2 E disseram: Porventura falou o Senhor somente por Moisés? não falou também por nós? E o Senhor o ouviu.
And they saide, What? hath the Lord spoken but onely by Moses? hath he not spoken also by vs? and the Lord heard this.
3 E era o homem Moisés mui manso, mais de que todos os homens que havia sobre a terra.
(But Moses was a verie meeke man, aboue all the men that were vpon the earth)
4 E logo o Senhor disse a Moisés, e a Aarão, e a Miriam: Vós três saí à tenda da congregação. E sairam eles três.
And by and by the Lord sayd vnto Moses, and vnto Aaron, and vnto Miriam, come out yee three vnto the Tabernacle of the Congregation: and they three came forth.
5 Então o Senhor desceu na coluna da nuvem, e se pôs à porta da tenda: depois chamou a Aarão e a Miriam, e eles sairam ambos.
Then the Lord came downe in the pillar of the cloude, and stoode in the doore of the Tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam, and they both came forth.
6 E disse: Ouvi agora as minhas palavras; se entre vós houver profeta, Eu, o Senhor, em visão a ele me farei conhecer, ou em sonhos falarei com ele.
And hee saide, Heare nowe my wordes, If there be a Prophet of the Lord among you, I will be knowen to him by a vision, and will speake vnto him by dreame.
7 Não é assim com o meu servo Moisés que é fiel em toda a minha casa.
My seruant Moses is not so, who is faithfull in all mine house.
8 Boca a boca falo com ele, e de vista, e não por figuras; pois ele vê a semelhança do Senhor: porque pois não tivestes temor de falar contra o meu servo, contra Moisés?
Vnto him will I speake mouth to mouth, and by vision, and not in darke wordes, but hee shall see the similitude of the Lord. Wherefore then were ye not afraid to speake against my seruant, euen against Moses?
9 Assim a ira do Senhor contra eles se acendeu; e foi-se.
Thus the Lord was very angrie with them, and departed.
10 E a nuvem se desviou de sobre a tenda; e eis que Miriam era leprosa como a neve: e olhou Aarão para Miriam, e eis qua era leprosa.
Also the cloude departed from the Tabernacle: and beholde, Miriam was leprous like snowe: and Aaron looked vpon Miriam, and beholde, she was leprous.
11 Pelo que Aarão disse a Moisés: Ah senhor meu, ora não ponhas sobre nós este pecado, que fizemos loucamente, e com que havemos pecado.
Then Aaron saide vnto Moses, Alas, my Lord, I beseech thee, lay not the sinne vpon vs, which we haue foolishly committed and wherein we haue sinned.
12 Ora não seja ela como um morto, que saindo do ventre de sua mãe, a metade da sua carne já está consumida.
Let her not, I pray thee, be as one dead, of whome the flesh is halfe consumed, when he commeth out of his mothers wombe.
13 Clamou pois Moisés ao Senhor, dizendo: O' Deus, rogo-te que a cures.
Then Moses cryed vnto the Lord, saying, O God, I beseech thee, heale her nowe.
14 E disse o Senhor a Moisés: Se seu pai cuspira em seu rosto, não seria envergonhada sete dias? esteja fechada sete dias fora do arraial, e depois a recolham.
And the Lord said vnto Moses, If her father had spit in her face, shoulde she not haue bene ashamed seuen dayes? let her be shut out of the hoste seuen dayes, and after she shall bee receiued.
15 Assim Miriam esteve fechada fora do arraial sete dias, e o povo não partiu, até que recolheram a Miriam.
So Miriam was shut out of the hoste seuen dayes, and the people remooued not, till Miriam was brought in againe.
16 Porém depois o povo partiu de Hazeroth; e assentaram o arraial no deserto de Paran.
Then afterwarde the people remooued from Hazeroth, and pitched in the wildernesse of Paran.
