Neemias 7
1 Sucedeu mais que, depois que o muro fôra edificado, eu levantei as portas; e foram estabelecidos os porteiros, e os cantores, e os levitas.
And it comes to pass, when the wall has been built, that I set up the doors, and the gatekeepers are appointed, and the singers, and the Levites,
2 Eu nomeei a Hanani, meu irmão, e a Hananias, maioral da fortaleza em Jerusalém: porque era como homem fiel e temente a Deus, mais do que muitos.
and I charge my brother Hanani, and Hananiah head of the palace, concerning Jerusalem—for he [is] as a man of truth, and fearing God above many—
3 E disse-lhes: Não se abram as portas de Jerusalém até que o sol aqueça, e enquanto os que assistirem ali fechem as portas, e vós trancai-as: e ponham-se guardas dos moradores de Jerusalém, cada um na sua guarda, e cada um diante da sua casa.
and I say to them, “Do not let the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the heat of the sun, and while they are standing by let them shut the doors, and fasten, and appoint guards of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, each at his watch, and each in front of his house.”
4 E era a cidade larga de Espaço, e grande, porém pouco povo havia dentro dela: e ainda as casas não estavam edificadas.
And the city [is] broad on both sides, and great, and the people [are] few in its midst, and there are no houses built;
5 Então o meu Deus me pôs no coração que ajuntasse os nobres, e os magistrados, e o povo, para registrar as genealogias: e achei o livro da genealogia dos que subiram primeiro e assim achei escrito nele:
and my God puts it to my heart, and I gather the nobles, and the prefects, and the people, for the genealogy, and I find a scroll of the genealogy of those coming up at the beginning, and I find written in it:
6 Estes são os filhos da província, que subiram do cativeiro dos transportados, que transportara Nabucodonosor, rei de Babilônia; e voltaram para Jerusalém e para Judá, cada um para a sua cidade.
These [are] sons of the province, those coming up of the captives of the expulsion that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon removed—and they return to Jerusalem and to Judah, each to his city—
7 Os quais vieram com Zorobabel, Jesué, Nehemias, Azarias, Raamias, Nahamani, Mardiques, Bilsan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, e Baana: este é o número dos homens do povo de Israel.
who are coming in with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:
8 Foram os filhos de Paros, dois mil, cento e setenta e dois.
sons of Parosh, two thousand one hundred and seventy-two;
9 Os filhos de Sephatias, trezentos e setenta e dois.
sons of Shephatiah, three hundred seventy-two;
10 Os filhos de Arah, seiscentos e cincoênta e dois.
sons of Arah, six hundred fifty-two;
11 Os filhos de Pahath-moab, dos filhos de Jesué e de Joab, dois mil, oitocentos e dezoito.
sons of Pahath-Moab, of the sons of Jeshua and Joab, two thousand and eight hundred [and] eighteen;
12 Os filhos de Elam, mil, duzentos e cincoênta e quatro.
sons of Elam, one thousand two hundred fifty-four;
13 Os filhos de Zatthu, oitocentos e quarenta e cinco.

59 Os filhos de Sephatias, os filhos de Hattil, os filhos de Pochereth-zebaim, os filhos de Amon.

60 Todos os nethineos e os filhos dos servos de Salomão, trezentos e noventa e dois.
All the Nethinim and the sons of the servants of Solomon [are] three hundred ninety-two.
61 Também estes subiram de Thel-melah, e Thel-harsa, Cherub, Addon, Immer: porém não puderam mostrar a casa de seus pais e a sua linhagem, se eram de Israel.
And these [are] those coming up from Tel-Melah, Tel-Harsha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer—and they have not been able to declare the house of their fathers, and their seed, whether they [are] of Israel—
62 Os filhos de Dalaias, os filhos de Tobias, os filhos de Nekoda, seiscentos e quarenta e dois.
sons of Delaiah, sons of Tobiah, sons of Nekoda, six hundred forty-two.
63 E dos sacerdotes: os filhos de Habaias, os filhos de Kos, os filhos de Barzillai, que tomara uma mulher das filhas de Barzillai, o gileadita, e se chamou do nome delas.
And of the priests: sons of Habaiah, sons of Koz, sons of Barzillai (who has taken a wife from the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and is called by their name).
64 Estes buscaram o seu registro, querendo contar a sua geração, porém não se achou: pelo que, como imundos, foram excluídos do sacerdócio.
These have sought their register among those reckoning themselves by genealogy, and it has not been found, and they are redeemed from the priesthood,
65 E o tirsatha lhes disse, que não comessem das coisas sagradas, até que se apresentasse o sacerdote com Urim e tumim.
and the Tirshatha says to them that they do not eat of the most holy things until the standing up of the priest with [the] Lights and Perfections.
66 Toda esta congregação junta foi de quarenta e dois mil, trezentos e sessenta,
All the assembly together [is] forty-two thousand three hundred and sixty,
67 A fora os seus servos e as suas servas, que foram sete mil, trezentos e trinta e sete: e tinham duzentos e quarenta e cinco cantores e cantoras.
apart from their servants and their handmaids—these [are] seven thousand three hundred thirty-seven; and of them [are] male and female singers, two hundred forty-five.
68 Os seus cavalos, setecentos e trinta e seis: os seus mulos, duzentos e quarenta e cinco.
Their horses [are] seven hundred thirty-six; their mules, two hundred [and] forty-five;
69 Camelos, quatrocentos e trinta e cinco: jumentos, seis mil, setecentos e vinte.
camels, four hundred thirty-five; donkeys, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
70 E uma parte dos cabeças dos pais deram para a obra: o tirsatha deu para o tesouro, em ouro, mil dracmas, cincoênta bacias, e quinhentas e trinta vestes sacerdotais.
And from the extremity of the heads of the fathers they have given to the work; the Tirshatha has given to the treasure, one thousand drams of gold, fifty bowls, five hundred and thirty priests’ coats.
71 E alguns mais dos cabeças dos pais deram para o tesouro da obra, em ouro, vinte mil dracmas: e em prata, duas mil e duzentas libras.
And of the heads of the fathers they have given to the treasure of the work, twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand and two hundred pounds of silver.
72 E o que deu o resto do povo, foi, em ouro, vinte mil dracmas: e em prata duas mil libras: e sessenta e sete vestes sacerdotais.
And that which the rest of the people have given [is] twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand pounds of silver, and sixty-seven priests’ coats.
73 E habitaram os sacerdotes, e os levitas, e os porteiros, e os cantores, e alguns do povo, e os nethineos, e todo o Israel nas suas cidades.
And they dwell—the priests, and the Levites, and the gatekeepers, and the singers, and [some] of the people, and the Nethinim, and all Israel—in their cities, and the seventh month comes, and the sons of Israel [are] in their cities.
